Sorry dear, some people have it as part of their package but it will soon leave you as you enter into your honeymoon phase. Try the following and see which works for you because what works for one might not work for another.

* Add lemon to your drinking water.

* you can snack on crackers biscuits.

* Put bitter kola in your mouth and suck on it.

* Try drinking cold water.

* You can chew the fresh bitter leaf especially the stick
on the center of the leaf.

* Take your routine drug close to bedtime.

* Discover the food that your body tolerates and eat them for now. Then I enjoyed fried yam that is very dry, boiled yam with red oil, pepper and salt. White rice with pepper stew. Any food that the smell upsets your system is likely to make you vomit or comfortable.

* Rest well and accept help from people around you dont go and be doing super woman.

* Eat fruits. And be observant for anyone your body doesn't tolerate you stop it for now. ( some people had bad experiences with mangoes, pineapple as our bodies differs)

Cleaning of the nipples during pregnancy.

During pregnancy, the nipples may become dry and pigmented and develop cracks, therefore , it is important to retain moisture around the nipple area. The areola, which is that circular and dark patches that surround the nipples undergoes a lot of skin changes as a result of hormonal operations in the body during pregnancy, making the areola change in colour, usually growing darker than usual

How to clean the nipples during pregnancy

Cleaning of the nipples should start from 36weeks up and should be done once a week to avoid falling into labor since the nipple is a very sensitive part of the body and twingling it can lead to contraction.

Materials needed
* Cotton wool
* Methylated spirit (optional)
* olive oil/coconut oil

How to clean the nipples

* Dip cotton wool inside a methylated spirit/olive oil/coconut oil, use it to clean around the aerola
* Finally use a cotton wool dipped with olive oil to clean it off so as to avoid dry and flaky around the aerola if methylated spirit was used.
* Clean nipple using a warm hand towel when bathing.
* After cleaning, gently pull out your nipples for like five minutes. Repeat this process as many times as possible during the day. The effect of this is that the nipples are being trained and exercised to stand out well enough for the baby to easily suck, after delivery.


Remember every woman, every baby, every pregnancy is different. Don’t listen to anyone, just enjoy the ride! Take everyone’s advice but only use what feels right for you.

I can understand Cappo. I know the reason my pain keeps looking like it's the same is cos I'm the one bathing and doing everything for baby when we ought to be resting for quick recovery. My breast is also not flowing like it did during my son's birth.

Sorry if it looks like I'm hijacking your comment and including myself, but sometimes I feel like crying due to the pain and no rest I'm getting. Wish my mum in law was here too. But my husband and elder sister has been more than helpful in other aspects.

Sorry dear for the stress you are passing through. Anytime baby is sleeping try as much as possible to sleep. You can bath baby in the afternoon once daily. The weather is cold now while changing him just use towel and clean his body and change cloth for him. Baby will be fine. Concentrate on getting your self back for now. The list of the things that could gain you a nice wipe was just too many.

But they are the best regardless.

Good day everyone.. am a bit bothered about some occurence in my home.

My wife, having her first issue is 5week 5 day gone already, but she has been complaining of right back ache, down to her pelvic and towards her right leg. Although she had her scan three days ago which confirmed that something is in her uterus, we started seeing blood spot yesterday (she had symptoms of malaria yesterday morning which she took quinin for).

When she saw this, she was scared, and a senior medical personal had to prescribe what could make her rest. She woke this morning without any blood spot, but she is scared because the breast soreness experience has reduced.

Although she did another test this morning and still showed double lines, she is scared. She is fine now, better than last night, but am equally worried.

Is this early morning test that relevant to the situation at hand.
Her soreness that has reduced, what is the implication.

Although she will be seeing her gynecologist in the next two hours, I still need feedback from those who are knowledgeable and experienced around.

Pls, help

Please don't self medicate. Even some doctors do make mistake at times which is why we sake second opinion or read up about the drugs prescribed before taking.

After series of observation, monitoring, ultrasound scans, treatments, and many other things I can't even start to mention plus the 3 weeks stay in the hospital, the final scan showed that the fluid has almost drained completely and requires an urgent C-Section to save my boy and ease the mother of agonizing pains. The doctor explained the process especially the post-effect as my baby is still at preterm as he is in the 33rd week. The surgery was performed today 23/06/2020, started exactly at 1:10pm and ended exactly at 5:30pm. My boy was by the special grace of God delivered and the mother survived. His weight is low but I thank God, against all odds, God surprised even the surgeon as my boy is healthy and strong. He is a fighter, he cried like a 3 month old baby, very sharp voice, was even fed Pre Nan food via syringe and he sucked well. Mother and baby is okay.

I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone who gave their support in one way or the other. May God ease all of your affairs.

To all struggling mothers who is experiencing the same or other issues, I pray God sort your issues with ease.

It was rough the whole time that I became scared when the fluid did not stop, it kept gushing but God did His wonder as always.

And to cap it all, it is greatly expensive. May God provide for us all.

You can't know the actual weight until our baby is born. As for the scan, their reading is based on the size and weight of the baby so it's usually not accurate towards the end of the journey. More accurate within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Be it as it may, it's still +,- 2weeks so no need for worries.

Obio cottage hospital has insurance scheme for pregnancy and delivery, I think it's about 20k but doesn't cover scan. You can be eligible to register if you are below 3 months gone.

But the crowd there is something else so you have to get there very early on your appointment days. You can be number 70 if you arrive by 8'O Clock am.

Just one toddler and all my back aches due to constant running after Bobo and pulling him from unwanted areas. I cannot lay down in peace while he is awake either my body turns to footstool or pillow. Always hitting his head on my body. This boy keeps me awake till 2 am sometimes and any day we sleep before 12 am is definitely a good night. I don't give him sugar nor soft drinks only water and yogurts occasionally. He loves pineapple and banana anytime maybe I should stop giving them to him. Spank him and he will start laughing coming for more.

I guess LMP is best used for calculation. But since it's still within the +/- 2 weeks range, you have nothing to worry about.
My first scan and second scan gave me two dates 6 days apart. I've been calculating with LMP though.

There is no insult I didn't get from him when I told him because he was very angry and he feels very ashamed. When I gave birth to d 3rd child, he did not tell anybody out of shame. Now he's saying people will laugh at him. He don't just want to hear anything so how am I going to convince him? That is why I just wanted to have my peace. Sister this goes beyond additional baby coming. Maybe your husband is depressed but doesn't know how to go about it. You know men with their ego always thinking that they can man it up. Please pray to God to restore spirit of joy to his heart. At the end this baby will be daddy's favourite and bringer of joy to your heart anytime you set eyes on him/her. Children like that comes in times like this usually comes with great destiny and huge breakthroughs.

Stop any soft drinks, all those packed juice rather prepare your own fresh juices .

Stop eating sugar or sugary stuffs

Eat plenty fruits such as cucumber, watermelon

Pls I need some form of information, I'm two months pregnant with my 4th child, I always wanted 4 children and though I didnt want d fourth one too soon as d last is just two and wasn't sure about my husband's preference but to him the number of children we should have depends on our financial power. When I broke d news to him, he got very angry telling me we can hardly pay fees of d 3 we have that he doesn't need any more children at all that people will just be laughing at him that I should pls go and do what I have to do Since then he has not talked to me (And I know him, he will continue being angry till I remove this child). Our total monthly pay is around 230k. We contribute equally. He's not making effort to increase finance but just talks of business ideas but never seems to actualize d dreams just always talking n talking of plans since I know him all he do is talk no move. Well apart from goin to open leg for evacuation which I'm not comfortable with, pls my question is, is there any drug I can just swallow to quietly do d job without any complications? Meanwhile I was on birth control pills when this happened and I only saw oga like two times that particular month so I don't know how it happened. Pls what can i take without complications im like 2 months now

Please don't abort the baby. Your husband is just angry for now but he will come to terms with the situation with time. With a monthly income of 230k you can live a comfortable life if you manage your resources well. You can start a side hustle online that can be bringing in money in bits from time to time. Some people are not earning up to 50k monthly but they are surviving.

Every child is a blessing, please protect this child and let the angel live.

There is big difference dear. Even for drinking water from cup and drinking it direct from bottle. The difference is clear but them no go understand it.
