Some minutes past 8am on a Sunday and everywhere is as white as snow on the apps.

Something that used to be stained everywhere with tomato paste.
Nowhere even has just a lil stain of red tomato.

The only institution that can effectively slow economic activities down is the bank; As long as the banks keeps operating Nigerians will still go out to do their thing especially the self employed and traders. People who are cooling off in the house or working from home were told to do so by their boss or they must probably will be a civil servant.

Nigerians are so stubborn that even these set of people told to go home will still go out to run their side business if they have any.

It will take shutting down the banks and market places to achieve a total lock down in the Nigeria economy - if those two aren't achievable things will continue to happen but slow till there there are some good news in the media about the pandemic situation EVEN Italy still has their banks, market places, transportation means still in operation so don't cause unnecessary panic/ fear in the minds of people.

https://www.wantedinmilan.com/news/italy-shutdown-what-is-open-and-what-is-closed.html
Are you a driver sir?

If you're, you will know this isn't about creating panic. I was in Ikeja GRA last night/evening and only managed to make two trips after waiting for long time, which was very unusual.

People will still move but the shut down order and work at home is already taking its toil.

Tommorrow might be worse as airport and schools will be closed

Stocking ur home with food stuffs can only be achieved abroad not in naija.
Where is the electricity to preserve foods, vegetables and other frozen foods?
If they decided to shut down local markets, where do people store to preserve food stuffs to keep them alive till the stipulated time of isolation?
Im so sorry for this country as we can copy other countries but cant put in place the facilities
Not to even talk about the amenities to stock food at home, what is the percentage of people that can stock food that will last them 3 weeks at home and also not work

Lagos and Abuja airports to be shut down in few days.

Next week will be so slow for ehailing as most offices will fully adhere to the shut down orders starting from Monday.

God, let this virus just go.

Nigerians and Nigeria cant afford to stock their homes and stay indoor for long like they do abroad.

If one is a salary earner, it is just a matter of time before employers ask one to return to work or even cut the salary.

Very funny

I don't even know what to say to you, how logical does it sound to you personally to drive around with a permit from driving schoolhuh

You have to wait for your capturing to obtain your temporary before you can start driving legally.

Don't tell me you are already driving on any platform yet, if you are, how did you pass through registration without Temporary DL
The cert can be used to drive pending the time DL arrives. Cant be used to register on any platform though neither do I think can be used to drive Inter state.

Looking for a good rental deal, assurance deposit of N100k to N200k avaiable, depending on the condition of the vehicle.
Weekly remittance of N25k.
Lets move Lagos forward.
Be guided please. You dont need to drop 10pk or 200k for rental unless you're looking for HP deal.

The last time I checked you can still get hand sanitizers at shop rite for 670. It is Nigerians that are inflating the price. You should also get spirit and a rag. Put the spirit in a spray bottle. Better to by the1.5 liter container. You need to constantly spray surfaces in your car. Door handles etc.

My understanding is that there are no surgical masks anywhere.

I am buying all these mini containers from miniso so I can have multiple containers of sanitizer round the house rather than a single one
Where have you been bro?

Hope you're good?

Hello guys.

To let you guys know of my bad experience yesterday 18.03.2020 during a BOLT ride.

Picked up a rider at Alakija at about 7:30PM heading to Adeniji. Lagos Island, just five minutes into driving we were held in a thick traffic created by tanker and container trucks.

Just before we could get to Mashalachi junction, two able bodied men crossed over from the other side and started flashing torchlight into the car. Before we knew it, the driver window side was hit by a heavy object and the glasses was all over my body. Traces of blood was seen on body especially my hand.

Unfortunately, the rider 2 phones, 1 iPad, apple wrist watch, wallet and money was taken away from him.

Those thieves also went ahead to attack the car ahead of us. We were all helpless, even the presence of truck drivers was of no value as we expected a support from them.

Made a report to Bold through the app on support and got a call this morning from BOLT. According to the customer care, BOLT will NOT be able to do anything for the following reasons;
1. I was not registered for the BOLT shield.
MY ADVICE: Guys, if you can afford it, please do it. You won't know the importance until days like this.

2. My third party insurance can only over cover if another car was involved.

I continued with the trip because I had no other option but to drive him to his destination. Although on getting to Apple junction I ended the trip in other to keep my phone off sight.

Please lets be careful as we go about our daily routine and avoid some roads at night.

God bless the road.
Im sorry for that ugly experience bro.

I don't go island anything after 5/6pm, no matter how tempting that trip is. My Only night trips are within ikeja and environs and then head home peacefully by 9/10pm.

how can his name be Sean Nwankwo when his father's last name is Kanu?

Nwankwo is his father's first name - Nwankwo Kanu, Ogbonna Kanu - so his name should be Sean Kanu

What is fake news?

I have a story I'll tell you about some Yahoo guys I unknowingly stayed with at Lekki in 2015 or early 2016 when a family friend asked me to help him get a Germany visa at the embassy.

We spent two month in Lekki and what I saw made me shake my head and said Nigeria is gone and politicians don't care.

That's true. I hate noisy/stressful places. It shortens a man's life. I can't imagine myself being on traffic for 1 hour. Time is money. Peace of mind is glory.
LOL. Lagos isn't for you.

I picked a lady laat week (came from PH). She was going from maryland to somewhere in Ikeja GRA. A drive distance that shouldn't take more than 5-10mins. The lady was just lamenting after spending few mins in traffic that PH isnt like that.

Now the goal post has been shifted from "Fuel efficiency" to "Availability of parts".

Is it a Honda civic or accord part that is scarce? Or Acura or Kia or Hyundai?

Even a Kia Rio's engine is cheaper than a corolla's engine. A Yaris engine is cheaper than it

Fuel efficiency my left nyash grin

Very few people know that corolla parts are more expensive than many small cars in its league. How much are civic and corolla engines?

I couldn't finish the food. The lesson here is: living a good life is not about riches or food — it's about peace of mind. Money is just a bonus.

With peace of mind, you don't need to eat much or have all the money in the word. Little things you eat will nourish your body more than someone without peace of mind trying to ear everything in the world.

Make legit money so you can have peace of mind.
Learn how to handle women and avoid the nagging type so you can have peace of mind.
Master how to manage money so you can have peace of mind.
Learn time management so you can have peace of mind and won't regret all the time you wasted online without being productive.

Finally, making money is not hard, but being focused and contented is.

In the afternoon, I'll only eat banana and groundnut. In the even, trust me, I'll eat my favorite — Niger Delta garri. Lol.
This is my dream; peace of mind.

I dont want all the money in the world, bonus if I do. I just want to have enough money to cater for my family and do basic neccessary things.

I'm tired of Lagos hustle life. I just wish I hone my trading skill on time and move to Osogbo or ibadan and enjoy better life.

Lagos can shorten one's life span.
