Truth be told, you got yourself in this mess by failing to return the car on time and even proposing to approach him for a reduced weekly remittance during the earlier days LASG announced closure of activities, things were already moving slow that time.
You shouldn't have waited for the hirer to ask for the car before woukd request from your him to bring the car or you still hold it. In this period of lockdown, the car is supposed to be with the hirer unless he allows you hold it.

He could even lay claim to the week you have the car with you without working unless he permits you to have the car with you till now.

How is it wrong for him to use his carhuh...Is the man paying him now amidst this lockdownhuh...so how exactly is it wrong for the owner of a car to use his own car...huh...
Since you cant pay up for obvious reasons.....Y cant the owner of the car use it...am sure his contract didn't envisage the issues we have now....but if it did...well...
He can recall and collect the car and have it parked in his house, but not saying he wants to use it, using it breaches the agreement and I will advise the hiree to demand for his money if he uses it. Using it as a personal car already devalues the car. Both the hirer and hiree shouldn't use the car for any purpose this period.

The car doesn't belong to the hirer to use for personal purposes, likewise does it not belong to the hiree to use for personal purposes except ehailing unless he's ready to pay the weekly remittance this period.

I once advised the young man few days ago that the fight is best fought when/if he returns the car. He shoukd have returned the car by now and the owner has no right to use it unless he is ready to dissolve the the contract, the car is under contract.

Does the owner except weekly remittance in lockdown period? I'm sure the contract will read something like "the car should be used for ehailing purpose only" is there any of such now?

Honestly, I believe legend knows he's trying to rub it in. He's been lashed out by many but despite that he's successful. I'm not speaking for myself but simply pleading he forgives his haters for now. They need his support now. The country is on lockdown. Many of these guys insulting him are without handwork, unemployed and even those with these things still suffer. He should have pity.
Many of them are not hungry as they make you believe. Online begging is another form of scam. Check some monikers, all they post in past days are begging for money, naija is hard but it isn't that hard as these young guys do.

Let's ask, why are young guys that have no responsibilities yet and most probably being fed are the ones that mostly engage in this online begging?
Some of them started begging even before lockdown as son as it was announced and intensified it during lockdown.

Do you know how young Nigerians take advantage of everything to scam people?

Do you know fraudsters were already creating format with the last fire outbreak at abule ado in festac?

Do you know how many young guys create format around every major disaster in Nigeria, Africa and world in general to scam people?

Let's learn to be contented, we wont feel intimidated or mocked by anyone's lifestyle.

God bless
Romance › Re: I'm Broke And Tired — This Is What I'm Eating, No Money For Food [PIC] by peeps4u:
Most people begging for money online do it as a fraud, it is a fact.

Nigerians jump on any trending thing to scam.

Go to telegram today, hundreds and thousands of investment and ponzi platforms created by bandwagoners to scam people. Before, it was fixed matches scam that was everywhere but the format has cast now.

Online begging is another form of scam that is why it is mostly young guys that are still being fed by their parents, not really suffering, that are found in these online begging scams.

But ilegend, don't you think this post is making mockery of those who cannot afford to eat? This is a hard period and there are many hungry here who are broken by this perpetual mockery? You don't think so?
Sincerely it is not. Just look away if it does

When people pose in fine cars, places and houses even when they dont own them and post online, should we say they are making mockery of those who live in village or dont have privilege to own such cars and houses?

Many will manage to eat eba with watery stew without meat and end up getting frustrated when they go Facebook, Instagram to view pictures and photos of people eating assorted meals in good places. If you cant appreciate the lil one can afford to eat but getting frustrated on another man's lifestyle, that is self induced mockery.

If the 'show off' only frustrates and looks like a mockery rather than motivating one to strive harder for success, let's learn to keep our eyes off what makes mockery of us. Just dont bother to open iLegendd's threads or visit Mompha and hushpuppi's pages so as not to end up being mocked and frustrated.

In life, one cant have all, we learn to be contented and overlook in some cases till good thing comes in its own time lest one dies of frustration and discontentment.

Good morning, good luck and keep striving to be successful

REAL TALK
Not applicable to everybody though.

Some people already have all these and this lockdown just avails them opportunity to have more time with their kids and family and even rest before hustle and bustle starts again.

But I agree with you to a large extent. I'm also seriously honing my skill in this period.

It is wrong for him to use it. The more he uses it, the more it devalues. I think it is better you park the car at his house and u have the key or vise versa or let him know why the car should be parked in his house without being touched.

If he doesn't agree, he should return your 150k.

It is wrong for him to use the car, he can collect the car and have it parked at his house but not to be used as it is not entirely his car so far it is still under contract.

My opinion.

I actually started following iLegendd for a whike now when he used to post on Amazon stuff because I once tried it, so I felt it could be worthwhile following him when I discovered him on NL.

I could have unfollowed him after I realised he now posts his personal stuff and stops posting what endeared him to me but I dont know why I found it funny and amusing seeing people venting their frustration on his threads. It is this entertainment that has kept me following him.

People, stop hating on someone because he seemingly has a smoother life than you, he is not the reason for your predicament.

I WILL SAY IT AGAIN, YOU CAN MAKE THIS GUY IRRELEVANT BY NEGLECTING HIS THREADS, BUT UNA MUST VENT YOUR FRUSTRATION ON HIM TO FEEL GOOD.

Do his posts affect my life or anyone?

Why the unnecessary hatred and abuse?

You guys cant just but wait to see his new thread so you vent your anger again.

Live and let live.

Abeg, stop this "God is angry" you all propagate.

Before COVID-19, there were black death, Spanish flu, Ebola, SARS, HIV, malaria, typhoid and several viruses and diseases.

As long as man exists, viruses and diseases will exist.

Dont animals also suffer from one disease or the other? Is God angry at them? Why do animals even die? Did they commit any sin?

Even the soldiers are more intelligent and civil to understand people will go out for one reason or the other. Buhari that announced lockdown has even relaxed it by making food and essential markets open from 10am to 2pm.

Go out and buy these things you have listed. Please do no forget to give us feedback
I did yesterday and even passed by a truck with soldiers at lagos here. I also went to buy items at market this evening and police van passed, nobody was scared except the bike men who were obviously working illegally. Everyone was going his/her way while the soldiers were just inbthe truck observing situations and movements.

This is common sense. We are not at war. People will need to Go out on some unavoidable situations to buy necessary items, just ensure social distancing and use your mask.

If your child falls sick, God forbid, and needs drugs, would you watch such child like that because of lock down and not go out to buy drugs?

Let's apply common sense here.

Why did govt allow some people, like food items sellers, pharmacy, bank workers etc operate? Were they expecting ghosts to patronize these people?

Since you have sworn by your Ancestral grace to be stubborn by disobeying the ‘Stay At Home’ order, you will be given the ‘Indian treatment’ soon
People will still need to go out on some occasions, it is not about being stubborn, we just need to observe social distancing.

What happens you need to buy drugs or food/food item or get money at ATM?

Security officers and shop owners just need to observe hygiene and social distancing and I suggest they enforce face masks for anyone who steps out.

Too bad, I've always being seeing things like these on this thread, and something just came to my mind now, mama radautoworks I think we should nominate you of any one wants to buy a car here the person can contact you to follow him/her for check up but he has to pay, it's better paying you 20k for check up on the car than spending another 200k on stupid expenses and selling the car at loss
I think Gazzuzz does that but I dont know how much he charges though.

whats else can one do. Don’t know any other biz. Don’t want a biz that would require my presence cos I also drive on Uber and have one other biz I do. Just want to diversify for extra income by the side. If u have a better idea I’ll be glad to learn.
Broz, this advice might sound odd. Seems you just want to tie the money down on a good project rather than spending it anyhow.

Why dont you buy land and forget it?

Not necessary in lagos, you might buy in your village/home town and just forget it.

You already drive on the platform and have anothe side job, dont throw away that money by investing in another biz u don't know anything about.

If poverty mentality worries the wealthy, how do we describe poor man's mentality?
