Huggies in the transparent nylon is the better huggies. It's very pricey now ooo. If you can afford it, fine. But if you can't , please go for Angel. I have heard very good reviews about it. My fear with Johnson is the May likely ship those ones rejected in the US after the court case to us here in Nigeria. So go for Sebamed or Chicco. I bought Chicco myself.

Skincare: body lotion, hair oils, baby oil. I don't use powder on my newborn cos of particles. Basically, dats all

Huggies all the way! The one in cartoon o, don't knw about those in red bags. Ask of US or UK huggies. You will never encounter diaper ish; my son is a living testimony! 15months and counting, NEVER had anything on his bum. I use both huggies diapers and wipes with vaseline for the bums.

For toiletries, be careful with fragranced items. Most kids react; I started with vaseline + baby oil. You can try chicco or sebamed products. For bathing, I've used johnson's from birth till date.

Thanks @feddy, I had huggies in mind sha, but I learnt they are 2 types. White n red, I dnt knw which is which. But I will. Ask them, if they will be truthful, how do I knw the UK or us brand? Dear momas, happy weekend, trust ur nyt was grt? Pls help a first timer out, I went shopping, but got confused on the type of baby essentials(lotion, powder, oil) to buy for my cutie, secondly the type of diaper. For the essentials I was given 'baby fresh' and 'angel', as the best brand to choose from, but I refused, secondly I didn't want to u Nig. Pampers Cox of the negative things I've heard abt it. Pls can u help a sister out by recommending the brand essential to buy n also the diaper. I know baby's skins differs but I trust the judge of our experienced momas. Thank u

If your cycle was Dec then you should be a September Mum. EDD based on LMP should be September 6 and you should be 31weeks now and not 32weeks.
So September class captain sugah will welcome you.

Most people don't know when conception took place. You are supposed to calculate 40 weeks starting with the first day of your last menstrual cycle. Using 1st of December, your EDD is 6th of September.

Wow, tnks so much @limsy, I learnt that it is not calculated witb the regular 30days, but 28 days. How true is this?

If her LMP is December 1, then her due date is Sept 6. That was my LMP as well, and I am due in September.

Peggygee, I think you're a September mom (with a high likelihood of porting, lol) according to your LMP unless early dating scans show an earlier EDD.

Lols, will consult my first scan result for clarity once I get home. Even tho I will like my cutie to be ember like me... But I just can't wait, August will be just fyn by me... Lol

Go with the scan result you got when you did scan between 11-14weeks.
It's more accurate.

So let's say you are an August Mama Eyeing September.
