Please follow me and thank God for a safe delivery of my handsome baby boy. The light of my life!

He was born at 8.44am, today the 9th of January 2017! And he weighs 3.7kg. I was given a tear for him to come out.

He swallowed some fluid when he was coming out so he's having difficulty breathing on his own. He's on oxygen and antibiotics now. As soon as he is stabilized, I'll send a pix.

His name is Ilan for short meaning we rejoice. Full name is Ilankinan meaning we rejoice in the Lord

I'll share bs as soon as I'm strong.

Thank God you did not go there o.They warned me but it was too late because have already paid for delivery fee since they don't attend to someone without you paying delivery fee even if it's one week pregnancy.

Ehn ehn, and I was abt recommending the hospital to a frnd of mine o. Because of my experience with general Hospital, I wanted her to use that Federal staff jabi.

I'm not having pains, just that I don't think it's healing, Cox it's still looking fresh, and I'm seeing spaces in between the stitches. I think the stitches r either loosening or desolving, but it shud desolve only when fully healed na. Just confused.

Mama please go back to the hospital let them check you abeg.Did you say hot bath? Just hope it's not has hot as mine sha.The air sound and loose kpekusing was the main reason why I rushed back to the hospital to be re stitched. I dunno about uda and hot drink sha but my major concern is for you to go back to the hospital and be thoroughly checked.Make sure you tell them about the air sound .I don't mean to scare but I don't want you to go through the pains I went through. It's only Dr that's the answer to ur questions.

Pls I need help o, its one week postpartum today, and my stitches are still looking fresh, despite all the hot bath and sit baths, is it too early for me to worry? When is it suppose to start healing? Is there anything I can apply to aid fast healing?

Secondly the ropes are desolving but I'm still seeing spaces in between the stitched part, I don't knw of it has loosened or datz how it usually Is, pls some1 shud put me tru oooo

Some1 said I shud add uda to hot drink(spirit) and be taking so it can flush the blood n all, has any1 tried this?

Lastly my jajaina is looking very strange to me Oooo, lols. Pls wat can I do to make it shrink back to shape? Abeg make una helep me, there is this air sound that comes out from it, and it's not funny @ all.

My story

I was 41weeks gone last week Monday, Went for ANC last week weds (due to the public hols) , met a doc n was told to come to the hospital this past Monday if I didn't fall into labor by last week sun, according to him the policy is induction or Cs is carried out after 10days post EDD , so I got home told do n MIL, dh was in support so Mil's objection (religious beliefs) was not important.
Fast forward to sun, around 11pm started having contractions, wasn't too sure as I've has 2 false labor, so I started timing n it was abt 4mins apart, I told dh, baby is coming. In fact I was pacing the room till 3:15am wen I told dh to prepare hot water for me to bath, we got to the hospital exactly 5am, baby's hrt beat was checked n was OK , but I wasn't dilating, so I had a hot bath there, was told to go n eat the come bck.
I stepped out for just 2hrs n came bck, na so story change ooooo. Baby's hrt beat couldn't be traced, I said God forbid, went for scan n it was confirmed. My world came crashing dwn, I started crying. I was told to pray instead, I did o, yet nothing g happened.
The labor reduced, so I couldn't push, and the doc said u can't be operated upon, that I have to be induced. Hmmmm, na so I carry dead baby since Monday morning till evening wen I was induced. Tuesday morning, serious contractions but no labor, long and short is the had to augment the contractions ooooo, that was Tuesday afternoon, n was delivered of my hefty looking tall n cute boy by 1:50am on Wednesday morning. Underwent and episiotomy yet couldn't hold my baby. My dh cried like a baby.

I thank God for my life, I surrender all to him. I knw he will give me multiples for my trouble.

Would have luved to rest till next yr b4 trying but dh said for where? Lolsss. Anyways I knw I will come n reg for next yr sha, Cox I knw God will smile on us again.

Part three
i started praying, i was reciting the Quran off head i was reciting till i started getting confused i was missing some verses together but i continued reciting like that.
the nurse decided to give me one drip called nomacyline (not sure of spelling),after like 5 minutes she checked my baby's heartbeat and said she can feel it small small she then increased the flow of the drip. i continued praying the more even with all the choking of hand in my vjay i did not stop. it was when the nurse said i should start pushing that i stopped praying and my pain has increased but i could not shout.
i started pushing and the drip finished and the nurse asked somebody to bring ordinary water drip as she was waiting for the drip she was standing a foot away from my bed but i was still pushing and she asked me to put my bum bum down so as not to tear myself. initially i was afraid of tear because for my first i had two dip cut and the stitching was painful than labour itself. but at that moment tear was the least of my worries my own was that my baby should come out alive.
when i was still pushing and the nurse was still standing away from my table waiting for drip my baby's head came out and the nurse quickly came to hold the baby and the remaining body came out and my baby was alive but stressed and the placeta came immediately.
she did not cry they had to beat her feet her back before she started crying and tears of joy were coming out from my eyes and hubby was just thanking the nurse.

BABY AZMA came out at 9:40pm on the 23rd of august weighing 2.8kg without tear. i was cleaned and me and my baby was taken to the maternity ward.

you remembered the student that her water broke she came back with her sil, and they bought the delivery things they sell at the maternity ward. she delivered her baby girl at 11:30pm weighing 2kg with 3 dip cut and enough beating and blood gathered in her right eye due to the slap the nurse gave her. after the baby was born there was no clothes to wear the baby they don't sell clothes at the maternity ward, i gave them one of my baby's clothes and diaper to wear the child and they covered the baby with wrapper.

you also remember the woman i met at the labour room that wanted to try VBAC. she could not bear the pain, when it was time to push she was just shouting i cannot push o i want cs o and it was midnight so they had to call the doctor that there was an emergency so he can come very early in the morning. in the morning the doctor came and she was wheeled to the theater and the cs was successful. she gave birth to a boy, but she did not regain consciousness before i was discharged.

THANK God it ended in praise. Our God is indeed good.

Just checking up on you guys, how's it going at your end? As for me have been having irregular contractions and it's not strong. I went for ANC yesterday and was told that if there is no show by next week I should prepare for induction. So na beg I deh beg Lo now.

Tnks for checking up on us dea. Me I've begged Lo, bribed etc LOL, tried castor oil yet no show. It's settled o, induction or Cs next week if no show, I kent shout again, I just want him in my arms, I'm tired of the endless wait.

I experienced one too dis midnight, I was already rejoicing that finally only to wake up this morning and it has disappeared. I guess it was d pineapple and long walk I had yesterday dat caused it. Am patiently waiting for DH to come so I can try kpekusing too.

May it end in praise for us all ooo, I took a walk yesterday too, will do that again today, I've stopped taking cold water, was advised to be taking hot tea(lipton +milk) b4 going to bed,and once I wake which I did yesterday, so dnt knw which of them triggered the contractions. As for kpekusing, ha me n DH no dey carry last for that one these days ooooo, all we want is out Lo in our arms, so all options are being explored. Lol

Praise God. Little princess came yesterday afternoon through scheduled induction with epidural @ 39w4d weighting in at 3.3 kg.
B.S. not dramatic as induction to birth was 4 hrs and had my epidural topped up to the end including during pushing and episiotomy stitch (can't come and kill myself). The only thing dramatic about it was trying to get to the hospital in time for my appointment through traffic- VI traffic has been crazy this week.

Baby breast and bottle feeding already. vigil has started.
