Pregnancy Prayer

Dear Lord:
Thank you for this contraction, Lord!!! I
welcome it and know that I am one step closer
to meeting my baby!
I give this contraction
permission to accomplish its task and I trust in
my God-given instinct to birth normally and
naturally, and I thank you for guiding and
directing me during this process.

I have complete faith in the birth process and
have peace knowing that You created me to do
this!
I give up control and fear and let my body
take over and bringing this baby into the world.
Help me to relax every muscle in my body and
allow my cervix to open and help the baby move
down the birth canal easily.
I pray that my uterus will work perfectly and in order and the my cervix will remain supple and open.
Comfort us during this time and allow us to have
the beautiful birth experience that You desire us
to have. Cast out any fear that the enemy puts
in our way!

Help us to have a gentle and quiet spirit, yet firm
and confident during this process, so that others
will see your hand at work. We praise You and
thank You for Your love, for keeping us safe and
for this miracle we are about to meet!

This time last year I was HEAVILY pregnant and elephant walking......Now I have a 'beautiful' SUN (President Mofe) who will be 1year in a month . I have too many things to be grateful for, especially the things I didn't even pray for by God did them anyway.

As for ur question, I dnt knw wat to call this one o, whether contractions or cramps. I feel them mostly @ night, while sleeping or getting up to pee. I trust God that my LMp EDD won't pass me by. God who has done it for our teamies will do it for the remaining of us Oooo.

Dear God, we thank you for all you have been to us, we thank you for bringing us all momas thus far, we thank you for safe deliveries of mothers and babies, may your name alone be glorified in Jesus name.

We specially present #teamseptember moms to be, and all potential porters into your hands, we decree that this is our month, and the gud works which you started in US since last yr will be brot to perfection in Jesus name.

Father, you sent us all on this errand, and we know you will not abandon us, Cox u didn't bring us this far to abandon us. We trust u Lord. Our month is here, some of us had hopes of porting last month, but in Ur wisdom u said, it's not yet time....

And so father I raise my voice together with evry other September mom to be n evry potential porter to say that starting from this moment, goodnews will abound in our homes n this forum. Mamas will begin to drop it like hot, because you are involved.

We come against evry spirt of fear, every evil prophesy, evry evil dream... We decree the book of isaiah 7:7 which says... 'it shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass' on all that it evil in Jesus name.

Finally we profess victory over ourselves n our babies, we decree that we shall go into the delivery room and come out hale n hearty with our baby(ies)

Our delivery will be short, baby out, alive n hearty, placenta out, and there shall be no complication of any sort
Then we will walk out with our two legs, holding our bundle of joy(s) and declaring that truly u are JEHOVAH..... our rock. The Hebrew women delivery is our portion IJN.
Amen n Amen.........

May all the expectations of our expectant mothers for the remaining months not be cut short IJN... U all will carry ur baby(ies) to term.

And to all TTC mothers, may JEHOVAH over do, give u all ur testimonies according to ur hrt desires IJN. Amen

Also I need to rest, wanted to take my leave after birth, but right now, will work till Friday, n proceed on the leave, I can't shout abeg, the heaviness n pains now is unbearable. Thanks to all the amazing mamas who responded ASAP to my earlier post... U guys are life savers, and to those who read n pass.... Una dohhhh oooooo.

I went to the hospital and doc said I shud go and do a scan so we can check the position of the placenta, I told him I've done 3 scans already o, and I learnt more than 3 is not gud for the baby, he just laughed and said datz not true Oooo. Hmmmm I had to obey na. Went for the scan n was told everything was OK. So I went bck to him, he said if I still see the blood again, I shud come back... Okpari Oooo, no medication no antibiotics as I anticipated o, just thankful that my Lo is okay. Meanwhile the senographer steamed... U have passed ur due date na, ha.. I told her frm my LMP I'm 39wks MA. She said in shud forget abt that o bla bla bla.... This people can confuse somebody ehn.

Plz go to the hospital Teamie, I know placenta previa is one of the causes of bleeding in late pregnancy.

I sure will o, the last scan I did didn't show any placenta challenge tho, but I'm heading to the hospital right away

Gud morning sabi mamas.... So I fell I'll on Friday till Monday, I went to see the doc on Mon and was told it's malaria, coartem was given to me and I took that yesterday. The thing now is this, I noticed my urine was all blood yesterday, Googled it and Mr. Sabinus said it's urinary tract infection, told my MIL she said the baby is close.... Pls sabi mamas any1 with a similar experience? I'm confused. And yes I was celebrating my no stretch mark bump, only for me to find traceable ones last weekend... It is well ooo

Am happy to announce the birth of my charming little prince,he wowed many and charmed me with his beauty, may his name alone be praised. Gave birth on 16th.
Mother and son doing very well.i was still hoping for my surprise twin to show up ,but it didn't come through.

And then his Heart rate started dropping ( what I feared the most ). They stopped the oxytocin and he became better . My doctor kept watching the heart rate and contractions ... Then strong contractions started coming . Doctor started asking if I wasn't feeling it ..I said no that I only felt pain in my legs ... She checked after 1 hour I was 5cm . The contraction continued and it was still painless . I was checked and I was 6cm. Then the devil tried to strike ... Baby's heartbeat dropped again and this time oxygen wasn't getting to his brain , then somehow he moved up and stayed on my left side .Then I started crying .. Calling on God and reminding him of his promises . The doctor asked us to watch for another hour as there is a risk of brain damage or we do CS immediately . I did not hesitate to sign the CS papers . I was wheeled into the theater . My husband was there taking pictures he was brought out and all the sadness I felt went away . My husband was crying ...so was I . At that moment I just wanted him to be fine . I cared less about myself . He was checked and everything was perfect with him . One of my fibroid had to be removed cos it was in the way when seeing me back . But Scan can lie sha .. I was good 3kg he came out weighting 3.5. The recovery for CS is a lot as the pain ehn no be here . But each time I feel pain I just stare at my baby and I know it's all worth it. Thank you

Thank God it ended in praise. The stress was sure worth it. Congrats once again n rapid healing to u.

as you fit meet different kind of hands, both palatable and unpalatable.
also d procedure is believed not to be painful bit rather . makes one uncomfortable.
in counting d cm. 1 finger is 2cm, 2 fingers is 4cm, 3 fingers is 6cm, 4 fingers is 8cm And 5 fingers is 10 cm.

but you rarely see a midwife or Doctor that will insert 5 fingers... what they do is when d vagina accommodate 4 fingers they will just extend it.

you will soon be there.....

Pls let me ask ooo FTM things, how is this VE done? With hands or wat? Cox I've been wondering how they knw wen some1 reaches 10cm dilation. I'm just curious biko,. Cox I knw my lo will arrive anytime soon, n I don't want to be taken unawares. Biko all the sabi mamas Chuk mouth for this matter o.

And @kotias003 u talked abt the 'push' technique ur doc tot u, how, is it like the normally pushing of strong 'sh*t from the bum? .
