Romance / Re: "Marriage Is Not A Title" by pendo89(f): 12:25pm On May 05, 2013
Ok get this right

You will discover it is a title when you encounter the following

1.Divorce
2.Visa issues
3.Property sharing and distribution
4.Employment contracts.

IT IS A TITLE WHEN IT GETS TO BUSINESS/OFFICIAL MATTERS.
Romance / Re: Guys...what Type Of Clothing You Think Your Woman Should Or Should Not Wear? by pendo89(f): 12:19pm On May 05, 2013
I wear what I feel comfortable in, not what my partner thinks I should wear, because we agreed on some principles which led us to marry.
Why questions? what changed?
hello chima.missed ya.
Romance / Re: She Said She Is BROKE. by pendo89(f): 12:12pm On May 05, 2013
chidyhels: Op. U are nt telling the full story. Besides; freedom of expression, she expressed herself and you took it personal. Not like she stated exclusively that she needed money. If am broke i will tell you am broke, cos thats the situation as at the time you asked. Being broke is a condition and if you bring up topics about my condition,i may nt leave that out.
Negativity has taken a greater part of us,so much that we dont even knw the truth any more,we keep assuming. Thinking everbdy is out to milk us. You can save a soul,it dosen't necessarily have to be a family member bfore you help.

What happens to politely telling her you are as broke as she is(even though thats not true) or simply encourage her to be patient, that God will provide?
Must there be services renderd b4 u help a begger?
Y is it that its only when a gal says she's broke that it means she wants to eat Maga and when a guy asks it means he's truely broke!

Abegi! Make i hear word.

cool cool cool

That's maturity.I have no problems telling a guy I am broke because I know it's not a permanent thing.I laugh it away and move on.
I am not telling you that I am broke so that you can take care of me.No way.I will not even allow myself to be at your mercy financially.
I am broke so I can't do 123 things that may make me enjoy the date.Fullstop.
Romance / Re: How Will I Approach A Lady Colleague In Our Office For Luv? by pendo89(f): 11:42am On May 05, 2013
Just go back to your wife dude. This could be the beginning of your downfall. What if this mature lady gets too attached to you, scatters your marriage or blackmails you when you drop her? She could be searching for a hubby and planning on having kids considering her age, while you want to get down with her only and thus waste her time. undecided
Some women don't know how to handle rejection and revenge is their only option.
Concentrate on work cz you may lose both marriage and job with one silly move.

Romance / Re: What Is Wrong If A Man Doesn't Smoke, Drink Or/and Womanize? by pendo89(f): 10:40am On May 05, 2013
ebamma: If u are man of phuckable age, u don't drink u dont smoke and u dont womanise, there is only one word for u, u are gay

Nah,it means you are such a bore.If those 3 make you 'the man' then you are very miserable cz they are disguises of the real you.
what else defines you? What makes you a man?
Romance / Re: 9 Things Women Should Never Tell A Man by pendo89(f): 10:14am On May 05, 2013
well i know what not to tell a man.but thats private and confidential.
Romance / Re: Please, My Guy, Don't Marry A Jobless Woman by pendo89(f): 9:53am On May 05, 2013
Getting a job is for one's own good.It has nothing to do with the opposite sex.

I can't sit idle even with a wealthy guy around me cz the idling stress would kill me.

It's just proper to have something good built with your own hands and not the other arty.

you saying that you feel less of a man cz you don't drink?
drinking doesn't make a man, neither does being a teetotaller.
The measure of a man is in responsibility,so forget about 'joining the crowd'so as to feel like superman
Romance / Re: What Is Wrong If A Man Doesn't Smoke, Drink Or/and Womanize? by pendo89(f): 6:12pm On May 04, 2013
Bj5all: this general mentality that a man must either be drinking, smoke or/and womanise is driving me crazy. i do neither of them and am very hapi with the way am living my life.
do i sound odd or am i missing out? NairaLanders, what do u guys think and am i alone?

Where did you get your stats from. There are millions of men who do not engage in the above and you are one of them.
Accept and move on.

Romance / Re: When A Guy Says He Needs A Break, wat Exactly Does He Mean By That by pendo89(f): 1:36pm On May 01, 2013
Well simply withdraw and get busy with your ish
For one to reach that point of asking for a break,it means you have suffocated, crowded and taken taken all their space till they no longer have room to think independently or execute anything without your intrusion. You have become a bother and a nuisance.
So evaluate the relationship and understand that good relationships are based on quality time and not quantity time
They may also need a break to move on esp if they have met a better character.
Simply ask the guy if you can date other people during the break. You will get a clue

you have terrible uncontrollable lust.
wait till you lose your beautiful wife then ul realise how vain the chasing has been.
The only person that cares about you is the person u choose to hurt? Why have you sunk too low to allow women to use you cz they find you appealing and gullible? Where is your pride and respect as a married man?
Be a man and learn to say NO

Deezedbj: I do smile when ppl talk of tourism and dey keep saying nairobi is better dan all d cities in nigeria...i am currently touring d east african countries,kenya=nairobi,nakuru,eldoret,kericho,kapkatet...uganda>kampala....i swear by God's name i dont c any city dat has any natural tourist attraction dan nigerian cities in all av seen here....and can u imagine wen dey ar naming the top 10 beatifull cities in africa, dey even put kampala, what a joke,.i osogbo is beatifull dan kampala...

Your itinerary left out the key tourist zones.
Some of those towns you mentioned are so far away from the city and are not regarded as 'tourist zones.'Infact they are 'Agricultural Zones' the backbone of tea and flower Industries.
Kampala town has nothing much to see.But they receive a lot of expatriates cz of the oil. It's vibrant in it's way.
Nairobi city has a fenced national park in the city complete with wildlife.Plus a number of reserves eg Giraffe center,Animal Sanctuary,Snake park,The National Museum,Ostrich Farm not far from city plus many many other interesting sites.
Before a guest heads to Mara/Tsavo or the Serengeti, which is very expensive they have a taste of it right in the city.
Have you been to the coastal resorts? Malindi where bilionaire italians have invested like crazy and own exclusive resorts? They attract their own kind. How about Lamu? National parks-there's one in Nakuru,Mt Kenya highlands-climbed the mountain? and sampled the 5 star hotels?
If not then you haven't even began your tour.

Those are just Campaign colours dude.Red was(TNA)and Yellow(URP).2 parties combined formed the Jubilee coalition which won the elections.

Well your president GEJ is in attendance.I understand your elections are just around the corner,so I bet he will invite our president to his Inauguration if he wins.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Kenya Elections: Supreme Court Upholds Kenyatta Win by pendo89(f): 5:51pm On Mar 30, 2013
Phew.We are tired of politicking.

Time to move on.

“The Prime Minister wrote to President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta today. He congratulated the President-elect and all others elected in Kenya’s elections, upheld today by the Kenyan Supreme Court. He stressed that this represented the end of a remarkable process, in which more Kenyans than ever before turned out to vote. The Prime Minister urged the Kenyan people to be proud of the strong signal they have sent to the world about their determination to exercise their democratic right peacefully. He encouraged all Kenyans to continue this spirit of peace and accept the decision of the Court as final.

“The Prime Minister stated that the Kenyan people had made their sovereign choice, and resolved disputes through the rule of law and the strong institutions of the Supreme Court and due Constitutional process. He welcomed the President-elect’s commitment that his new Government will work with all Kenyans in a spirit of inclusivity and reconciliation, and that the Government of Kenya will continue to meet its international legal obligations.

“The Prime Minister also underlined his strong commitment to the partnership that exists between Kenya and the UK. He described the relationship as deep and historic, with a substantial shared agenda of stability, security, development and prosperity that benefits both our countries. He looked forward to working with the President-elect’s new Government to build on this partnership, and to help realise the great potential of a united Kenya in line with Vision 2030.”

Kamsy10: But why do people accept friend requests from strangers on facebook

Who can send me friends requests?
Friends of friends
Everyone

No problem accepting strangers. It's what you do thereafter that determines where you'r both are headed.
Romance / Re: Wife Unknowingly Dating Her Husband On Facebook. True Life Story! by pendo89(f): 2:27pm On Mar 29, 2013
They are both fools.
This was deliberate. The man knew his wife inside out and therefore took advantage of her weak/strong points to lure her.
He clearly understood her mind, her language, likes and soft spots, so he knew the right keys to hit and which tune to play.
Is he guilty? as charged.
Let's assume that the man didn't know her well.Perhaps they would never have clicked and so nothing would have progressed.
BUT!! there was an 'Intention' yet she is married and that is what makes it so wrong.
So what was the husband up to anyway? Means he doesn't trust his wife and so this fb act is not the focus as they have failed somewhere.

But people are funny anyway. How they quickly accept a strange friend's request and fail to go through the person's details amazes me.
Now that doesn't mean that the details could be correct, but reading through their friends comments, photos, work, school then go ahead and google them using their real names and usernames. It will give one a slight clue about their background and character.
If they deny you access to their details but still insist on wanting to know you better, then smell a rat and take off.Surely you cant be that desperate to take some risks.
It's more weird if the person has no friends at all.
Food / Re: African Cuisine by pendo89(f): 12:36am On Mar 29, 2013
ok.Coffee is my middle name.Another kenyan drink.I don't like tea unless it's spiced-we call it tea masala.I have to spice up everything

I think that's enough.I could have posted more from other tribes but I don't see them on internet.

I am still shocked by the potatoes thing. Is that why the west eats lots of cassavas and yams?
