Lakayanah: God bless Jonathan and his wife. But the designer of madam's attire is wicked and was paid to do so by her enemies.

lol aren't you people superstitious? she looks warm.Does GEJ ever wears suits? never seen him in one.
The dark coloured gowns make him resemble an undertaker. That was the joke when he landed.Bright colours would look better and warm on him.

Lord Mecuzy: nice pix, but the two girls look hungry.

Ajebo's no dey Kenya?

They are nigerian girls belonging to nigerian diplomats in kenya.Nigerian seed. But thank God they are natural.
Funny cz Kenyans thought, among all nigerians living in kenya none could offer better? see every nigerian diplomat wants their kid to greet GEJ,so there must have been a battle.

But If you don't know kenya apart from what you read on nairaland -of course don't ever expect nigeria to talk positive of any other african country, never has, never will and africa is ok with that.It makes sense to criticise africa from this online platform even if one has never seen their country's boundary. The well travelled know better what the rest of africa looks like.

THE PLANE BURNING IS NOT IN KENYA .

The runway is a distance from the old burning block and no plane caught fire.- lol talk of exaggeration.
International planes ready for take off departed without pax while others were diverted to mombasa.

The operations will be carried out from the cargo section of the airport which remains intact.

Meanwhile it's good riddance to the old block as we have about to be completed new terminals -thanks to china.lol

This portion could have been about Nigeria.
Simply substitute Lagos for Nairobi and Nigeria for Kenya.
How many fire engines are in Lagos, Abuja or any other Nigerian city
Yet we dey build "1st world" structures!

Meanwhile we go dey turn every single corruption report to tribal defense and bashing while the Looters-in-Power continue to chance our mumuciousness dey go!!!

That reporting is soo wrong. The APT alone has 5 standby fire engines as is required. So many private and security companies have fire engines near the airport as well.
Mystery is why it spread so fast.
The cause of the fire remain suspect, but

Politics / Chinedu Sneaks Back Into Kenya by pendo89(f): 4:48pm On Jul 14, 2013
Nigerian drug lord Anthony Chinedu is suspected to have sneaked back into the country on Tuesday using a fake name.

Mr Chinedu is said to have returned through Namanga on the Kenya/Tanzania border using the name of Anaeke Chimenze, another drug lord who was expelled with him last month.

This prompted police to launch a manhunt for him in Nairobi where he reportedly owns houses and businesses acquired with contraband money and enjoys protection from rogue security officers.

However, Internal security principal secretary Mutea Iringo dismissed this, saying, Mr Chimenze was a different drug lord kicked out alongside Mr Chinedu and eight others last month.

“There is a serious manhunt for the Nigerian, who is still at large, but we will do everything to ensure that nobody jeopardises the war on drugs,” Mr Iringo said.

This emerged as an immigration officer was charged with assisting Mr Chimenze to enter the country illegally.

The court denied Mr Edward Kabiu Njau bail and ordered him to stay in police custody pending completion of investigation.

“Although the offence is bail-able, in light of inconclusive investigations, I grant the police three days to conclude and order the accused remanded at the Kileleshwa Police Station till Monday,”

Mr Njau faced one count of allowing a “prohibited immigrant entry into Kenya”. He asked the court to release him on grounds that he was asthmatic and needed medication.

Prosecutor Brigit Kanyahi said the suspect had not tabled any documents to prove his claims and that he could interfere with investigations, if released.

The court heard he unlawfully allowed Mr Chimenze, a Nigerian holding passport number 02743350 into the country through the Namanga border point within Kajiado County. The offence was allegedly committed on July 9 between 3.45pm and 4.30pm.

Security agents were reportedly still tracking the suspect by press time. Mr Njau was arrested at his workstation in Kajiado and driven to court. He has since been interdicted for gross misconduct.

Police sources said the fugitive is suspected to be hiding in Nairobi where he has an elaborate network of accomplices he had recruited into the drug business.

My take,he won't be deported aboard a private jet again, cz no company will want to hire out their plane to be detained.
The Nigerian goverment should this time send their own plane to pick him if he gets arrested.

Police are holding two Nigerians after they were found in possession of drugs worth at least Sh10 million.

The suspected drug traffickers have been placed under observation after they were arrested at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi Friday.

Police said the Nigerians had travelled from Brazil and had a stopover in Dubai. They were headed to Lagos.

So far, the two have emitted 47 pellets of cocaine.

Police said they will continue observing the Nigerians to see whether they will emit more pellets.

Crime / Two Nigerians Arrested At The JKIA ,KENYA With Cocaine Worth Sh18m=(usd )209,668 by pendo89(f): 7:50pm On Jun 21, 2013
The men aged 53 and 56 were on transit to Lagos, Nigeria from Brazil when they were intercepted at the airport by police.
The suspected drug traffickers have been placed under observation after they were arrested at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi Friday.

Police say they have so far emitted 47 pellets of cocaine, they had swallowed and inserted in their private parts since they were intercepted on arrival on board a plane that originated from Brazil via Dubai on Thursday evening. They are both expected in court to face charges of drug trafficking.

Police have intensified operations on traffickers in Kenya with more than 50 foreigners being deported over the offense. Among them are 11 Nigerians including kingpin Anthony Chinedu.

Where is GEJ to save them from this predicament?

mulan-kenyan:
Kenya of all country is now Deporting Nigeria? Highest exporter of crude oil in Africa?
Giant of Africa,
you ask?

And that is what makes us wonder...why can't nigeria put it's house in order. Look at Kenya...no natural resource to talk of, yet...but we showed the world how to kick Somali renegades in order (Operation Linda Inchi - translates to: Operation defend our Land of Kenya), a feat that had defeated AU and the West (read USA).

We have not oil...

Your post is worse than chinedu's crimes.lol
I am not going to research on your behalf but PLEASE google on natural resources in Kenya; Oil-north rift,coal-eastern,tea and coffee, limestone, soda ash, salt, gemstones, fluorspar, zinc, diatomite, gypsum, wildlife, hydropower. Those are called natural resources to name but a few.

And yep kenya imports crude oil and REFINES it in its own refinery for export to other countries. Please read stuff, info is free.

Some stuff people post online is laughable and shows how uneducated, short sighted, blinded and shallow minded we are.
Africans love tearing each other. While the East believe that nigerians are into wash wash,419,witchcraft,cannibalism,drugs and every other unimaginable crime, the west believes that East still lives in caves and walk naked. grin.I plead with Africans 'PLEASE TRAVEL' to other countries.

Ok that aside,Why is CHINEDU a major drug lord ask for Nigerian goverment's protection? What does that tell of a goverment?
Did Chinedu notify the goverment of Nigeria of his departure and dirty dealings abroad?
Did he remit tax back to Nigeria from the millions he claims to have?
He just landed in kenya, did business and become a millionaire? yet we know his close associates but they cannot be deported since kenya is their country.
Did any nigerian benefit from his drug money? Has he helped the poor in Nigeria? ok who knew chinedu before this ordeal? Has he ever called any nairalander to donate cash?
How has he helped his country?
The guy lived big and enjoyed what money could give him now he's humbled and wants the whole goverment to give him back the life he enjoyed?
No goverment would want to protect a drug lord. But hey this is Africa. smileythe criminals need protection but the innocent suffer.

Politics / Re: Nigerian Deportee From Kenya Narrates Ordeal by pendo89(f): 10:18pm On Jun 11, 2013

Chinedu has been making headlines in kenya for all the wrong reasons for many years.-all drug related cases, family, business, but he always went scot free because of protection-the cartel is just something else.
I remember watching him laugh sacarstically, walking with swagger like he owns the world and being boastful everytime he made headlines. The cops then seemed afraid to touch him and his criminal cases were never closed.
BUT things have gone bad because of a change of goverment and those who used to find protection under the former powers are being exposed and deported, not only nigerians but all illegal fellows doing crime.
The Judiciary is now reformed and it's not easy to bribe judges like before.
This guy was in a cartel and I believe they played bad. .not long before chinedu, another was arrested in coastal kenya for drugs and fake currency. They often get arrested, post bail and resume business but it's tougher now.
The source of his wealth is very questionable and I suspect the dealings he had with his wife 'Akinyi'-We parted ways with Chinedu when l refused to be his drug courier.
No need labelling all nigerians bad cz I know a few who earn a genuine living but you hardly see them making headlines-they prefer a low profile.
Whatever the case,he is healthy and alive.Better free in your country than languishing in cell in a foreign one.

If I were him,I would focus on rebuilding my life again in my homecountry after all home is always the best.
