Romance / Re: Are Successful Single Ladies Disadvantaged? by pendo89(f): 3:13pm On May 19, 2013
Hello,
She's classy, trendy, intelligent and hot. She just finished her masters and aiming for PHD. Recently purchased a porsche, owns her house and guess what, she's just 25. Ok, y'all know what's left.
She has been in and out of relationships which has ended up in heart break. This will likely go on over the years till she become desperate for marriage.
Lest I forget, She has a nice character and humble but FOOLISH AND INSECURE BOYS just dont feel comfortable around her because of her success in life.

My pastor was like... "No matter how successful a single lady is, she should never buy a car cos men won't go after her"
So my question is: In contemporary Nigeria, is it a taboo for a girl to be successful before the guy?
sorry but that is the most stupid and careless statement to ever come from a 'pastor' .Tell him to stop being archaic in reasoning.
There are men and boys as well as men and gentlemen.
Their level of thinking is completely diff.

Family / Re: Is This Right? He Bathes With His 2yrs Old Daughter. by pendo89(f): 11:41am On May 19, 2013
My mind is not on molestation but the way kids express themselves. At 2-4 years they are dicovering and talking about what they just discovered to every tom, dick and harry.
Kids can thorougly embarass one innocently. That's why you ought to hide your privates from them; both mum and dad.
Imagining a scenario where's she is among other older men of the family and then suddenly asks' do have what my daddy's has? can I see? My daddy lets me see his.I want to seeeeeee cry. mummy, uncle has refused to show me his pp.
Then comes Tony's turn.Tony is a playmate and then she goes: I saw where daddy susu's from and it's big!! not like yours.

Foreign Affairs / Protest Against Mps Salaries Kenyan Style by pendo89(f): 9:17pm On May 14, 2013
grin grin grin grin grin
I loved this why lie.The cops had a pretty difficult time trying to deal with the 'MPigs' which had blocked parliament gates, but the human rights and civic groups were not relenting. It was hilarious.

Protesters in Kenya released a pig and about a dozen piglets outside parliament to show their anger at newly elected MPs demanding higher salaries.

The animals licked blood spilled by angry protesters-(slaughtered pig) outside the parliamentary gates in the capital, Nairobi.
The unusual demonstration, organised by civil society groups, was intended to portray the MPs as greedy.
The President had said NO to their extreme demands, something which didn't go down well with them

Not long ago they staged peaceful demonstrations in the capital protesting over recent attempts by outgoing members of the country's parliament to sneak in generous retirement perks as they end their term.
The hundreds of members of the activists donning black T-shirts and carrying placards and coffins, expressed outrage that the outgoing MPs could so shamelessly seek to award themselves generous send-off perks
People need to say NO to Greed.

Romance / Re: She Said She Is BROKE. by pendo89(f): 9:05pm On May 05, 2013
mekaboy:

Pls don't teach your daughter to tell male strangers she just met that she is broke.
TRUE

Of course she wanted me to tell her I will take care of her financial needs romantically, she was just shocked at my swift response to the pay as u go situation.

When I told her I know she wld accept money from me, she said yes but that is helping someone in need.
I took it personal because she repeated it 3 times. First she put and angry mood on dp, when I asked what's wrong she said she was broke. Later she put a sick mood. And I asked if she was sick, she said she told me she was broke. Then I laughed and told her to relax , she cld visit a friend and laugh and still be happy. She asked me how can she visit a friend when she said she is broke. It was like I have to change her situation before we discuss anything else. Because all our discussion ends around her being broke. That's why I told her since she can't do anything because she is broke, she shld come for the weekend at my place atleast I will pay for her cab and she will have fun.

MIND GAMES CHEAP WOMEN PLAY.That's annoying.Thought this was your gal not some stranger you just met
Romance / Re: Do You Judge A Book By Its Cover? by pendo89(f): 8:49pm On May 05, 2013
Mrs.Chima:
As humans we tend to be judgemental and critical of others to make our imperfections seems invisible. Do you honestly judge someone before getting to know them?

Many people have shared online that they are still looking for the right person. Could it be that the best person was there all along?

If a person come to a date with wrinkled pants....do you cut the date short?

What about if the woman takes off her bra during the course of the relationship...she appears smaller chest-wise....would you judge and leave?

How does it make you feel when someone judged you in a relationship?

Can you honestly say that you are not judgemental?

lol. I am judgemental and I expect to be judged.
I have a bad habit of disclosing my imperfections to someone close, before they discover for themselves.I don't like embarrasments.
Now their reaction will determine how I behave around them. Can go away or stay.
My observation is this.People may appear looking smart and sharp till you get to know them a lil better.
Their attitude/personality may suck, they could be boastful and proud or just mean believing they are doing you a favour.Talk revolves around them.
Others will show up looking just ordinary. No airs but simple. They listen and take time to understand you.
And you will love their attitude and reasoning.
I think people who feel like they are too beautiful/handsome/wealthy lets just say, those that think they have it all, always tend to imagine that they are doing one a favour by showing up.
They turn out to be the most irritating, selfish and mean people to have around.

Judging by cover is therefore wrong but am guilty of t.

Romance / Re: How Important Is Checking Of HIV Status when getting married?.. by pendo89(f): 3:17pm On May 05, 2013
Know your status 24/7 esp if you can't zip up.It's not only important just before marriage but to every human being on the face of the earth.
And rem some get HIV through sharing needles and blood transfusions meaning even a sexually inactive person could be a carrier.
Everytime you visit the hospital get checked. If you care about others you must know your status every day.

Romance / Re: Please Advice : What Do Men Really Think Of Women Who Smoke. by pendo89(f): 12:35pm On May 05, 2013
khukhi: Hi everyone

I would like to know your opinion on women who smoke cigarettes.

Do you think its unattractive, acceptable or not . Do you have a problem with dating a woman who smokes and why?

And lastly is it fair for society to discriminate against women who smoke?

All I can tell you is,take care of your body first before you worry about others opinion of it.It doesn't matter what they think if the habit is self destructive.
