2cato:Can you please do the needful and show a verifiable source to where you read the statement " dogs and baboon will be soaked in blood if gej wins" You just said "ok you win" only to accuse me of lying and deceiving afterwards. Do you have a mirror at home? Look at it and seek answers to the allegation you leveled at me. Guess you will see the face of the liar and the person that was deceived there. I hope you wont need to apologize again when you realise your folly again? The truth about some of you is that you dont form opinion on your own but have this crowd mentality. As you go about trying to find out where GMB use the exact words you quoted, can you kindly tell me which one amongst the two animals species you belong to "A DOG or A BABOON" cos my primary school teacher taught me those two words refers to canines and ape family? How does dog or baboon relate to you? |
2cato:Can you please come up with a link, a post, a journal or a press briefing where your weeping general said "*nigerian* will be ungovernable"? If you can't I think you will do yourself some good to polish your use of english rather than jump from one post to other spewing unfounded and spurious allegations without knowing who said what. Thanks |
The tripartite meeting between GEJ, Idriss Deby and Ali-modu Sheriff comes to mind . I don't need a crystal ball now to know that Ali modu was and is a kingpin of the Boko Haram Sect. Alimodu has interst spanning various sector of the Chadian economy now we hear chadian delegation facilitated the negotiation between the FG and BH. Hmmmm I smell something here..... Interpol should have gone to one of the houses of Ali modu sherrif in Chad I'm sure they would have rescued some of the girls long ago if not all. Because it is hard to understand how over 200 girls are fed, clothed and lived in a forest for 6months. Where are the US SEALS when you need them? |
2cato:Please I will appreciate if you don't mention my moniker if you cannot put your message and line of thought in a coherent and meaningful.manner. Go thru my post properly you will see the answer to the question you seek. If GEJ goons and PDP labelled Buhari as a sponsor of BH and use that to campaign against him in 2011, you won't expect him to spearhead such a talk. Anyway Buhari is a private citizen like you and I he has a right to his own conviction and opinion and decisions. OBJ laid the ground for negotiation and even risked his live to go all the way to Maiduguri to meet senior members of the sect and families of the slain Mohammed Yusuf. Why did the FG not follow thru with some recommendations he listed or even give him a listening ear. When a whole president could publicly say " I can't go there, they will just kill me" then you know the kind of jellyfish president we have. You don't love Nigeria more than I do and I'm damn more patriotic than you could ever be. For me it is Nigeria first but for you and your ilks it is about being igbo and igbo interest. Thanks. |
Samchelsea:If you read my post without the prism of sentiments and "I am igbo so GEJ can never be wrong" you will see clearly my arguement. If Negotiation was an option why wait for 5years to do so after the lost of many lives, properties and wastage of military hardware? GEJ said generally in various press briefings that BH does not have a face so they have no party to talk to that's why negotiation wasn't viable. Does it mean BH now has a face? Even if you will negotiate should it not be a hidden thing out of public purview? America and Iran are sworn enemies on the diplomatic front yet they both joined hand in the fight against ISIL. America till.today deny such cooperation but in our own case, itis the Chief of Defense Staff that is giving public statement on a matter that they themselves said they won't do. Why the sudden policy somersault? Imagine what could have been saved in terms of national embarrassment, lost of lives and properties and the displacement of millions of citizenry if they did what they are doing now like 3 or 4 years ago? |
For onwards of 5 years and running we were told Boko Haram is a faceless Organisation hence there is no party to negotiate with. OBJ, Shehu Sani and a kanuri journalist facilitated a discussion with top hierachy of the sect only for OBJ to be ignored and abandoned like an orphan when he asked for FG backing and support and the appointment of a FG party to their discussion. GEJ forwarded a request for 1billion$ loan to.the senate to fund the procurement of arms/ammunition and this was hurriedly passed by a PDP led senate despite opposition by APC Senators who asked for detailed expenditures on the 952billion Naira approved already in the year's budget and senator George Akume even asking why the need to borrow when funds can be taken.from the Sovereign Wealth Fund yet GEJ got his 1billion.dollAR largesse last month. Our national pride and image was dragged in the mud in a yet to.be explained and supposedly covert operation.to buy arms to fight same Boko Haram. We have spent close to 3Trillion Naira in defence funding in 2 years yet no result but more lost in military hardware and personnel and also.lost of territory. MY GROUSE: If the GEJ led FG had negotiation amongst it's option why did they live in denial for 5years? why not persue this option.as adviced by the then Action Congress in its numerous press briefings? Eminent Nigerians have advised this option for years but our FG continued to tell us they won't negotiate with terrorist. Why did they now swallow their vomit? Numerous lives and properties would have been saved if the GEJ government had not lived in a fool's paradise. MY OPINION: It is now crystal clear to any more discerning mind that the present government is a clueless, daft, purposeless, one without a clear policy direction, no distinct direction, on auto pilot mode that flow with any weather, lack proper thinkers and policy makers and made up of people who are not sure or confident in themselves. Nigeria have had many leaders, some plague with.corruption, others nepotic and ethnic driven but the GEJ government is an epitome of the worst kind of leadership.that could befall any nation. How we get here should be a painful and sober reflection.on each and everyone of us. People who voted GEJ in 2011 painfully regret the complete disappointment GEJ has been. The time to make amend is around the corner, let's grab it with both hands. this clueless and da.ft government needs to be kicked out. |
Descartes:If the supposed Islamic Agenda guarantees the return of Nigeria to exponential growth! If the supposed Islamic Agenda guarantees extermination of Boko Haram that seems to be a force above our military! If the supposed Islamic Agenda guarantees that corruption will be nipped to its lowest ebb. If the Supposed Islamic Agenda guarantees that they won't be sacred toes that can't be stepped on. If the supposed Islamic Agenda guarantees the end of impunity! If the supposed Islamic Agenda guarantees that our battered public image amongst comity of Nations will be laundered! An Islamic Agenda that ensure Ifeanyi Ubah and thieves like him who ripoff the country through various subsidy scam are brought to book rather than pardoned to use the stolen money to coordinate TAN rallies and adverts. An Islamic Agenda that bring thieves like Jimoh Ibrahim who bought our National heritage as cheap assets yet can't manage it to justice. An Islamic Agenda that make sure proven corrupt cases and corrupt officials pays for their acts not the one that pardons and let go billion of dollars for Mohammed Abacha and his family cos of political gain, drop corruption charges against Fani Kayode cos he decamped, sees no reason why Stella oduah should be charged, celebrates odili and his perpetual restraining order and the pension scam rogues and many others! An Islamic Agenda that turn around the economy and ensure that the Naira regain its value as experienced btw 1983-1985 when it sold at 1.50$ to 1N despite crude being sold at around 9$ per barrel not the present valueless currency we have with crude sold above 85$/barrel now. An Islamic Agenda that oversaw the building of 2 refineries in 3years btw 1976-1979 yet a non Islamic agenda can't provide a single one nor effectively manage the existing ones in 15 years despite the huge income from crude sales. An Islamic Agenda that turned Lagos from slum to the present state of commendations from the EU, world bank and IMF and equally have fitch rating of AA+ for its bonds same rating as the USA! If The Islamic Agenda with an Islamic leader ensure that 20,000 people leave their poverty and erosion stricken.states to run to a state run by a Muslim.on.a daily.basis then.the non Islamic agenda leaders should hide their face in shame. I can go on and on. Who cares what name you.call.your God jyst deliver the dividend of democracy and meet the aspirations of people and let prosperity be the judge. 12 years out of the last 15years christians rule and are ruling this country, did the Muslims cry about a Crusader Agenda or is poverty, insecurity, umemployment, inflation, infrastructure collapse and national disgrace selective of Religion or ethnic bias. We've had Abacha,IBB, OBJ and GEJ didn't they profess one religion or the other? Is the country better for it? I will stick to individuals with proven track record irrespective of which ever religion he practises. Who care even if he worship SANGO? As long he can save the country from the abyss of destruction the PDP represents |
Nice write up from the Turaki. APC is sure blessed with many presidential materials. But for me and my family, Buhari gets our votes. Atiku should play significant role in the think.tank and policy direction of our party after swearing in next year. |
This combo is a killing and a sure banker( credibility and performer/reformer) The only people who will negate this combo are TANdroids, bigoted ethnic and religious fanatics who forgot that Christians have ruled Nigeria in the last 12years out of 15years of our democratic experience since obasanjo in 1999 yet there is poverty, corruption, insecurity and impunity pervading our nationhood. Let see who have the bloc to deliver electoral victory between a North that hero worship Buhari and a SW that loves Performance and purpose driven leadership irrespective of religious creed and some elements in the SE who assume an Ebere/azikiwe is getting.revenge for them for the events of 1967-1970 whether he perform or not doesn't matter as long as he has waged an illconceived and illprepare war against supposed terrorists that should have been exterminated years ago by a responsive Govt, he has their vote and that of their unborn children and also some elements in.the SS who feel na our pikin and our oyel he can do anything. If the country is properly and govern purposefully it will be for the general good of all. We can't.continue to have PDP 15years of the Locust. We have suffer enough misery through the irresponsible style of governance they have given Nigeria. I will rather vote individual with credible and known trait of responsesbility than think of which region he comes from or which religion he practised. Salahadeen was a Muslim yet he is reverred and celebrated in Jewish history for saving thousand of.Jews but Hitler was a Christian but cursed for.the killing of millions of Jews during the 2nd world war. Buhari/fashola is a yes yes for me based on their antecedents. A nightmare to the PDP and all ethnic/religious jingoist who can't see beyond his selfish prism/horizon. Lets vote commonsense and performance rather than sentiments |
Six months on since more than 200 Nigerian schoolgirls were kidnapped, Alicia Keys is bringing their plight back into the public arena. The singer-songwriter helda protest in New Yorkto raise awareness about the 219 Nigerian schoolgirls who remain missing after being kidnapped byBoko Haram militants in April. Advocate: Nigeria must be pressured to free schoolgirls Keys kicked off a protest with 30 others at the consulate general of Nigeria, holding signs that read"We Are Here" and "Safe Schools Now!" Theychanted"bring backour girls" as New Yorkers walked upthe street during lunch hour, while others stoppedto capture photos andvideo. Keys, who is pregnant, said inan interview that she felt touched to take action since she is a mother. Her son, Egypt, turned four yesterday. Keys was joined at the protest byher husband, producer-rapper SwizzBeatz. The parents and other relatives of the missing 219 school girls complain that they have been left to rely on a diet of rumour from the media and a long list of unfulfilled promises from the politicians, BBC reported. "The government must do more to get the girls back," says Muhammad Yahaya, whose teenage daughter Yana was seizedfrom the school byBoko Haram militants. #OP I'm very sure Alicia Keys and her husband are the ones handling the "Hollywood Chapter" of the APC http://www.justjared.com/2014/10/16/alicia-keys-husband-swizz-beatz-hold-protest-to-bring-back-our-girls/ |
Ngwakwe:I think you should shove those your so called "facts" down your pit latrine. I thought you will respond to my reply on the fathom 53 suitcases of your emir of Gwandu. But like every irresponsible hater of truth you cover your eye in shame and ran away. The personnel involved then is the present emir of Gwandu "jokolo" and atiku abubakar is running to clinch sole single ticket with GMB. Don't you think if such suitcase story exist he woukd have use it as a political tool against GMB for political gains. The suitcase story exist in the figment of the imagination of lazy people like you who can't seek truth on their own but propagate stories unfounded and total falsehood to discredit a good name. Guess where Omeri is now? He is Jonathan's Director General of National Orientation Agency. Clear case of political patronage. |
Ngwakwe:(0) (Reply) (Follow) (Go Down) Buhari Replies Jonathan, Explains ‘53 Suitcases’ Saga by meine: 10:23am On Mar 21, 2011 I LOVE THIS The Presidential Candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) retired General Muhammadu Buhari yesterday in Jigawa State described the allegation of corruption levelled against him by the President Goodluck Jonathan campaign team as “nonsense, untrue and unfounded.” The Director, Presidential Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Mike Omeri had in a press statement accused General Buhari of exhibiting double standard in public administration while in government. Speaking to newsmen in Dutse, General Buhari said there is no iota of truth in the entire allegation, adding that “what happened was that, we have a policy during my regime that anybody that comes into the country his/her luggage should be checked at the Airport”. Later in a statement issued by his spokesman, Yinka Odumakin, Buhari said, “Our attention has been drawn to another lousy outing by President Goodluck Jonathan’s ‘Chemical Ali,’ Mike Omeri, who ran to foul the atmosphere with a thoughtless charge that General Buhari is not sincere about his resolve to rid Nigeria of corruption.” He said Omeri’s only evidence to support his assertion is the fabled “53 suitcases” of 1984. Buhari explained thus: “in 1984, the Emir of Gwandu whose son (Almustapha Jokolo) was ADC to General Buhari was returning to the country from overseas. The head of state, on learning of his arrival, asked his son to go and receive him at the airport as they were only playing squash at the time.” “Coincidentally, the Nigerian ambassador to Libya at the time, Dr Tahir Waziri had arrived at the same time with the emir with his three wives and 16 children. They all came with their belongings as he was coming home to take up a new appointment as chief of protocol to the head of state.” “It was the suitcases of the family of 20 that were counted as belonging to the emir and falsely presented to the public. General Buhari has over the years asked those who have questions over the matter to go to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who was at the head of Customs operations at the airport on the day,” his spokesperson said. Meanwhile, Buhari has asked Jonathan to explain “what happened to the case of N104m seized from Nancy Ebere Nwosu who allegedly swore to an affidavit to the EFCC that she was laundering money for Dame Patience Jonathan.” He also wants the president to explain “the announcement by the then EFCC spokesman, Mr Osita Nwajah on September 11, 2006 that the sum of USD13.5 million was seized from another associate of Mrs. Jonathan which the anti-graft body said belonged to the now first lady.” Buhari says Nigerians need an explanation on “who presided over the FEC meeting on October 2009, where a 4 km runway at Abuja Airport was awarded for N64bn? Whereas, late President Yar’adua was already in Saudi Hospital as at the time!” Also, Nigerians need to know “what happened to the USD30billion Yar’adua left in the excess crude account that is virtually empty now? The spokesperson explained that no amount of cheap blackmail will stop the desired change Nigerians are poised to effect in April polls. @ngwakwe I hope this address your persistent tale by moonlight story of emir of gwandu fathom 23 suitcases. |
Ngwakwe:Go back and read books by Prof. tam David west. He was a member of the SMC. He addressed your Gwandu story adequately in his 2 books about GMB and that particular story. GMB was the statutory minister of petroleum with absolute powers to steal and rob blindly but did he? That was years under obasanjo btw 1979-1983, he oversaw the building of many refineries warri, kaduna and 2nd PH He was head of state for 20 months yet has no house or plots in Abuja, lives in a modest bungalow in kaduna, has no oil bloc or front like the likes of IBB who had the effontery to give oil bloc to the likes of alakija who we hear is the richest black woman in the world despite being a fashion.designer, the likes of danjuma who have multiple blocs and sold just 1 in 2009 for 5biilion$ anD gave his charity 500m$ out of the windfall out of pity for Nigeria. GMB was overthrown for that same reason so that IBB and his cohorts can rip off the national wealth. Dare to know which party IBB and Danjuma are funding? Don't look far? Check PDP. Check egift moniker for more on the personality called Mohammadu Buhari. |
Ngwakwe:Never knew the oputa panel was a judicial panel of inquiry tot it was just a commision without any teeth to bite. Can you kindly avail me the complete report of the panel and any body serving any penalty or punishment from the outcome of that talkshow your PDP wasted public funds on knowing fully well the report will be thrown to the gutter of history. No be only Emir of Gwandu na Alibaba and 40 thieves. Prof. tam David west recently address your 1million bag of dollars stolen by the emir of Gwandu. A drowning man holds on to even a straw. You keep jumping from one thread exhibiting your total lack of knowledge and history. Won't blamed you though. You were too small and young to know what good governance means. You grow up to know governance as done by PDP so it will be foolhardy to expect you to comprehend what dedication, discipline, nationalism and exponential growth means since you are so used to mediocrity and bad ineffective governments that rule in your South Eastern hell hole from Abia to Ebonyi so you can't be expected to wish for change. Mediocrity is a way of life to ethnic jingoist like you Buhari need no media packaging... We need no TAN or idiots wasting our commonwealth on a bad and damage product. |
Ngwakwe:How you became a MOD on this forum should be an aberration. Buhari stole billions in PTF yet the judicial inquiry set up by obasanjo could not find such billions or indict him for any of your alleged stolen billions. He is a tribalist because he's from the North and a Muslim but Jonathan is a nationalist because he is a christian and from the south. Talk more about hypocrites and you're an epitome of it. To you and the ilks who reason like you, jonathan is the best thing to happen to the Nigeria of your dreams but it is pity that the nigeria of our dreams is the nigeria that Buhari ruled in 1983-85. The nigeria where order and discipline was an hallmark. The Nigeria where the Naira was way above the Dollar yet crude oil sale was little above 9$ per barrel. The nigeria where civil servants dare not come to work late. The Nigeria where religion and ethnicity were not celebrated as passport to benefit from government largesse The nigeria where crooks like the TAN coordinator or ex convicts like bode george and alams are not celebrated but kept behind bars. the Nigeria where a rogue exgov will not dare possess a perpetual restraining order from being probed for corruption yet he is bestowed with the third highest merit award of the same country. The nigeria where stealing is corruption and is classified as such. The nigeria where government agencies and institutions can be allowed to function as institutions and not apron strings of the ruling party The Nigeria where economic index is not measured by the number of private jets illegally acquired by corrupt politicians and government cronies but by the number of people who can meet basic essence of life and living. Vote for whosoever you want to vote as your vote and those ethnic clowns who reason and think along bigoted lines and falsehood propaganda like you can't stop the moving train A BUHARI presidency is bringing next year. Jonathan is surely leaving next year, you can check out to ghana if you care. BUHARI need not any media packaging . He personalized a good name and that is the packaging that sells not the Type TAN is using our subsidy money to package a bad market like emperor jona.daft |
To all good and patriotic Nigerians we all have seen the beauty of not keeping quiet and fighting for our rights. We allowed the PDP to take us for a ride for 15 years and running just because the opposition were disjointed and never united. The significance of the BROOM the symbol of the APC comes to mind here, We can always get what we want as long as we are united, firm and solid in our quest. The support is unwaivering and our demand is simple. NO TO IMPUNITY AND CLUELESS LEADERSHIP. Let the significance of the return of this thread to the homepage resonate in us that we can get what we want as long as the demand is genuine and justified. |
Obinoscopy:You guys are so pathetic in your bias and jaundiced mind. You are comparing a television camera phone shot to the live feed given by people present at venue/event. You MODS have taken asslicking to a whole new dimension.. you forgot you had double thread on Okonjo iweala as African finance minister of the year. Yet you want to justify it and attack the integrity of people who complain. Funny how you try to justify this clear cut case of partisanship and unhidden shame and cowardice. Ban my moniker for its worth. |
Seun:But in your in clearly forgetful state of mind. You didn't remember the "poo of OKONJO IWEALA BEING NAMED AFRICAN FINANCE MINISTER OF THE YEAR" having two thread on the homepage just last week and it remained on the HOMEPAGE all day. Okonjo iweala commendation could have double thread on the home page while a thread created hours ahead of the one you allowed with better image and contribution was jettisoned for one intended to abuse and watered Down the significance of the event was justified in your opinion. And you have the guts to refer to complaints as POO. Learn to respect people please it may be a faceless forum but then you're a young man with a bright future and in the eye of the world. Don't abuse peoples opinion |
olapluto:Leaving is sure what they want you to do. So as to have a field day to propagate and spread lies to gullible few who can't form opinions of their own. We should not leave and we won't leave. The task of rejuvenating Nigeria will not be traded for chicken change. We will stick around to spread the gospel of truth and cause the coward and foolish few who have sold their conscience for a pot of porridge to wallow in their misery. Imagine this kind of jaundiced and clear wickedness |
Ventura1:Wow wow wow. I didn't believe it when I read your post that this thread was removed from the home page. Just viewed and it was confirmed and the one open hours later with clear malicious intent to abuse, insult and defame the general was left there. Tot the owner of this forum bears SEUN. It's rare to see a properly brought up Yoruba son allow this kind of injustice and clear partisanship for a forum that carries the name of Nigeria on it not PDP. It is crude, wicked and unbecoming. If you want views here tailored to suit your benefactors remove the tag "naira'' and replace with PDP so we can leave. This is clear cut irresponsibility and a dumb act of cowardice. |
Mogidi:yea, I'm the boko lover that command the Nigeria Military from going all out to exterminate the Boko boys for 8 years and counting. I'm the Boko lover that have the 2nd Largest Military Budget in Africa but can't fizzle out how a ragtag bunch of undisciplined and ill-fed boys are holding the whole Nation to ransom for over five years. I'm the boko lover that went on a campaign jamboree a day after a terrorist attack few miles away from my seat of power. I'm the Boko Lover that said Boko Haram has infiltrated my Government and yet no scapegoat or arrest of any fifth columnist. I'm the Boko Lover that went on a security meeting on ending the Boko insurgency with a neighbouring President and had an alleged sponsor and brainchild of Boko seated in the presidential discuss. I'm the Boko Lover that is the commander-in-chief who said and I quote "terrorism is a global thing, Boko Haram is just our own share of it" I'm the Boko Lover who have the Department of state security, The Nigeria Army, the Nigerian Airforce, The Nigeria Navy and the Nigeria police Force at my beck and call to deploy within a second but prefer to use them forcefully and with prejudiced and bias against Opposition Elements in Osun and Ekiti state since the election in the South West is of National Interest and importance than the rescue of Innocent schoolgirls six months after their abductions. I'm the Boko Lover who has a budget of 952Billion Naira in one year yet I need a new loan of 160Billion Naira more to buy the arms/ammunitions the 952Billion Naira could not buy in 8months. I'm the Boko Lover who used a private jet to ferry a foreigner and 2 unscrupulous Nigerians to buy a meager 10m$ arms/ammunition from a non existing company in SA that has no license to deal in Arms despite the fact my Country is a Member of the Highest Body in the United Nations (the Security council) but because I see myself as no bigger than terrorist groups like ISIL or the Mexican drug cartels or Pariah States like like North Korea or Iran, I supposedly gave approval for covert arm purchase for a country that has the Largest Military Contribution to United Nations keeping forces in Africa. You would see my love of Boko from the above. Shekau the idi.ot with Nine Lives is from my Maternal Uncle side. If you wanna quote me next time, I will implore you to come intelligent, sound and with all your faculties intact. |
Muhammadu Buhari (born December 17, 1942) is a retired Major General in the Nigerian Army and a former military ruler of Nigeria from December 31, 1983 to August 27, 1985. The term BUHARISM is ascribed to the Buhari military government. He also ran unsuccessfully for the office of the President of Nigeria in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 elections. His ethnic background is Fulani, and his faith is Islam; he is a native of Daura in Katsina State of Nigeria. Minister of Petroleum Having joined the army in 1962, Buhari first came to widespread public attention in 1976 when he became the Minister (or "Federal Commissioner" for Petroleum and Natural Resources under then-Head of State General Olusegun Obasanjo. Before then he served as Governor of the newly created North-Eastern State during the regime of Murtala Mohammed. He later became head of the newly created Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in 1977 overseeing the building some of the few surviving refineries in Nigeria .Buhari military government Major-General Buhari was SELECTED to lead the country by middle and high-ranking military officers after a successful military coup d'etat that overthrew civilian President Shehu Shagari on December 31, 1983. At the time, Buhari was head of the Third Armored Division of Jos.[8] Buhari was appointed Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and Tunde Idiagbon was appointed Chief of General Staff (the de facto No. 2 in the administration). Buhari justified the military's seizure of power by castigating the civilian government as hopelessly corrupt, and his administration subsequently initiated a public campaign against indiscipline known as "War Against Indiscipline" (WAI). Aspects of this campaign included public humiliation of civil servants who arrived late for work whilst guards were armed with whips to ensure orderly queues at bus stops.

egift:Really love your matured and distinctful response. It shows finesse and class. The difference between them and us. Let's keep the broom flag flying high. |
I thought Nigeria can only procure arms and military hardware through covert and third party agents since we are now in the calibre of ISIL and the Mexican drug lords that can't do legitimate and verifiable military procurement. Ridiculous when Government spokesmen and illeducated and uninformed supporters try to place us along the likes of North Korea and Iran. Pariah states with UN resolutions/sanctions hanging on their head against international deals in military procurement. Nigeria as a member of the 15 Nation highest ruling body of the United Nation (the security council) now buy piece meal ammunition from a nation that equally buys arms from developed countries through unscrupulous and tinted individuals. Hmmm story for the gods. Anybody who believes the cover up in south Africa isn't a true Nigerian. We are a bonafide and respected country across the globe, we can buy arms and ammunitions from any country in the world ready and willing to sell to us as evidenced by this deal or was any Israeli involved again? Maybe na pastor oyedepo jet dem use ? We are not under any UN sanctions on arms and ammunition dealings yet we are told we need to.go covert to buy 10million dollars arms. 10million$ arms for the whole Armed forces of Nigeria? The truth about the SA embarrassment will be unravelled when power change hands in this country next year. |
thunderrider:Reading and comprehending the post would have helped you to assimilate and understand what the message is. The problem with some of us is that we don't bother to read as long as it shows APC winning a motion against PDP. Nobody is against deploying troops, what we are against is using the troops to intimidate, harass, arrest and kidnap opposition elements as was the case in Ekiti, Anambra and Osun Elections. The power to seek and request for troop is now domicile in INEC if they see the need and not with the president who feel he must do anything to turn the tide of votes against his interest and his party. |
They needed to keep vigil to checkmate and preempt the already jaundiced and bias military that will attempt to mount roadblock, divert traffic, close and frustrate border crossing along neighboring states all in an attempt to prevent the massive crowd that will be at the rally. Wish I was in the country I will keep vigil along with thousands of patriotic and change loving Nigerians to show support and love to this man of exemplary and great leadership. Has anyone seen or heard jingles celebrating and packaging him like the TAN and other corruption laden organisations trying to sell us a failure and a dunce leader? The outpour of pure and genuine love GMB command is amazing. Good Name is sure better than Gold or Silver. GMB personalize and is a classic example of the doors a good name open for you. |
courage54:The owner has never hidden his disdain for anything ProAPC or AntiPDP. The war chest of TAN is unlimited since they taking their spoil from the endless sea of Crude oil and Government patronage. But should we get distracted by their intrigues and bias? No we won't and we sshouldn't. They can keep killing stories about GMB projecting him in the Positive but celebrate rumours and fallacy against him. Let's not get discouraged. They know what they are doing. |
obailala:No state is made up 100% by its indigenes. APC will surely get chunks of votes in the SE and even in Bayelsa state and Jonathan too will get chunks of votes in Borno and Kano. |
obailala:My brother, if the APC field Okorocha next year be rest assured he will only win in Imo State out of the whole South East and it is not because he is not Igbo but because an average igbo man sees an average northerner as an enemy and Islamist and the APC represents that to them. So the APC is not bothered about the two blocs per se outside Imo state and Rivers/Edo state. No government has ever polarised Nigeria along.ethnic and religious divide the way the present administration has done. We've had Muslim Military Head of State with absolute power to Islamize Nigeria even.Abacha the worst despot didn't , yet they labelled a man of.Integrity and strong character as an Islamist since they can't wear a toga of corruption on him. Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia and Egypt are 90% Muslim countries but have their leaders Islamized them. Yet we hear and read from.dull and those who can't think.by themselves calling a leader whose personal driver of 45 years is a Christian as an Islamist. If Jonathan had perform and taken decisive steps against corruption and physical and social infrastructure development across the country in the last 5years, I don't think next year's election should have been.a worry to him based on the overwhelming support.and goodwill he had post yar-Adua. But what do you have? A rogue trader, an economic saboteur, a bank loan defaulter, a shrewd and irresponsible businessman who duped his own kinsman is the National Co-ordinator of TAN a group canvassing the return of the C-in-T that should tell you how low the government can go. We can't continue along these path of national destruct the PDP represents since 1999. fashola or whosoever not even Alex Ekwueme can defeat Jonathan in some South East states so why bother. The good thing is the vote strength of just Lagos, oyo, kano and Kastina will equal all the total votes cast in the entire SE and SS. Let them continue in their delusion. No sane nigerian will wish the country to continue the path PDP has led it in the last 15 years |
Fashola truly would have been a great bet at the presidency but we need to understand the multiethnic and tribal diversification that makes up the entity called Nigeria. 1999 was purely a yoruba presidential race between obasanjo and olu falae based on the injustice done to MKO Abiola in 1993. It was a general consensus to give it to the yorubas then. Now if the APC should field another Yoruba man eight years after the generosity of other ethnic groups to deny people of their tribe from expressing their fundamental right on the altar of sacrifice and national unity, then it will be unfair and an injustice and selfishness on the part of the yoruba race. So common sense and national consideration doesn't favor fashola for now since the yorubas benefited from a special waiver in 1999. Nigeria belong to all of us. No part of it should monopolize power perpetually. Let it go round. |
