The truth is always out there staring us in the face. The present government and some folks who are eating from the treasury are the brains behind these political boko haram. Shekau wants a caliphate yet the subjects he want to govern must all be killed or runaway! The gameplan is to diminish the bloc of votes from the north east or prevent election and extend the government over war situation in the country. David Mark's senate just announced to the whole world that the federal government should declare a state of war in the NE subsequently it will be annouced and then no election next year except they are sure of returning jonathan to office. Shekau is a creation of certain people doing the bidding of the certain forces in government who intend feasting on the opportunity the political insurgency provide them to have a large unprobed and unquestionable pool of war chest in the name of defense funding and also diminish the opposition bloc of support the zone has always provided. Case of killing two birds with one stone. They plot but God is the best planner. All who seek to gain political relevance on the blood of innocent people, may the almighty destroy their family and their generations. It is ludicrous to believe Nigeria Government will order ammunitions, arms and also inclusive of a Helicopter for a paltry sum of 9.3m dollars. How did they come across the large foreign exchange if civilians are not supposed to withdraw more than 10k dollars from banks without EFCC clearance? Did the CBN released it? Was that why Sanusi had to go and the MD of a bank owned by a close associate of the president put there? What happened to the cashless policy? The deal is so covert that the SA Government too must and cannot be made aware of it? Quite laughable and intriguing that the usually loud mouth and media loving CAN president that love competing with Olisa Metuh and Ruben Abati for media space as the unauthorized spokesman for both the PDP and president jona.daft has suddenly develop withlow of the mouth and avoided the same media he loves hobnobbing and patronized. Now he has dragged the entire body of christ to come to be his spokesperson. The catholic church saw thru and in their wisdom withdrew as if they knew he is shaddy. Let him come depend himself and clear his already tarnished and bastardized name. So shameful. Buhari and El-rufal want to drag the name of our eminent man of God, the head of all Christians in Nigeria down the mud. They asked his eminent to borrow them his jet for them to use on pilgrimage to SA. The money with them.was just for Zakat. His eminent believing the SA they were referring to was Saudi Arabia not knowing they wanted to use his private jet to go buy arms in South Africa. Lol. Reading some posting on these thread makes me marvel at the kind of wickedness that abound in some igbo people and some folks that call themselves christian. You are sad the bomb didn't go off and kill as many people as possible since they all deserve to die for being northerners and muslims. When the bomb planted in ansar-ru-WINNERS chapel in owerri was detonated before impact since some stupid people believed it is only in mosques that bombs are discovered before they off so we can say the winners chapel is a mosque too, You all praised your God and didn't ask why it didn't go off and kill but now that this episode was averted by the Almighty you cry wolf and angered by the fact it was discovered before impact. How you all assume the bombs will only kill muslims and hausas alone baffles me forgetting people of different faith and tribe go to large gatherings like jumat to sell their wares. If you're angry over the fact the bomb didnt goês off or doubt the fact a young boy was used by God to reveal it, then you're as wicked and heartless as the shekau himself. |

I don't think something is wrong somewhere. I don't think the Asaba-Onitsha link bridge should be even up to 3 km. I have google map layouts of the Ikoyi-Lekki link bridge and the current Asaba-Onitsha link bridge. Infact, I am posting them right-away below this comment. These two bridges are approximately 1.3 km in length. If we should add the peripheral roads linking these bridges, then we could say they are around 4 km or so in length. That said, the FG needs to show us the design layout for the proposed Asaba-Onitsha bridge that brings the total span to 12.4 km. I need to be convinced... Bro.I wonder from where they intend to start the bridge from that made it 12.4km. The present bridge is less than 3km and the second crossing on the river niger at patani in delta state is equally less than 3km. 12.4km for 2NB hmmmmmmmm. It baffles one the kind of foolish postings and comments made about Islam and Boko Haram on NL. Can anyone categorically say that Muslims are not highest victims of these heinous killing. Or do we have Igbo Christians populating a College of Agriculture in Yobe that is state owned more than indigenes of Yobe State and other neighboring states. The sooner we realize that ills of Boko Haram has nothing to do with tenets of Islam the better for the fight against terror. Silent hour is a private and personal reading period in the evenings after dinner. We never had any religious time out at Mayflower School. @ post the wave of islamaphobic tendencies in the western media is being brought home by peeps especially Easterners. Pls all Muslims are not Hausa/fulanis. I work in the south south and I witness the discrimination even at work. It is high time the Lagos State Government call all non indigenes head of institutions in lagos that we are a multi religious state. Reading this story from the first paragraph, i was like when did cross riverians start to behave like akwa ibomites. Only to see that they were from Nsit Ubium in Akwa Ibom State. It is really a pathetic story and may the soul of the departed rest in peace. i've lived and worked in Akwa Ibom for almost 10years now and i"ve seen two instances where two boys with the collaboration of their mother killed the father and buried him in the same room overnight. Was at the police station to take bail of a colleague sometimes in December 2012 and a young man was brought to the station for hacking his grandmother to death with cutlass, her offence " He suspect her of being responsible for his mother's death through witchcraft he said" Her own daughter. Many cases abound here where lives are taken over assumptions and their thoughts. Who told them their father's gratuity is close to 40million Naira. Really a painful way to go . Beats me how elchijile was able to knock taiwo out of this team. He's the worst left back Nigeria has ever had. It's really a pity what nigeria's football has become. From the worst coach to have coached the eagles since I've been intelligent to watch our matches to the worst set of players to wear our jerseys. Really i think coming here on Nairaland to rain abuse on people (the Sultan especially isn't sign of a well developed and trained individual). If people are being deported from Saudi Arabia how does that make it an avenue to start raining abuse on a religion? We should as christians show proper decorum and literacy to act above some comments i've read on this forum. the MOD should act appropriately on religious and tribal issues.
