Interesting.... Well, only a fool denies the existence of the 4th dimension, and as long as human beings believe in the existence of a supreme being,in life after death, and that there is an unseen world which affects/influences the visible world, such questions as this will always be asked. Money rituals exist, but has been so much steeped in falsehood that its difficult to know exactly which form it takes. There are individuals who are knowlegdeable in the dark arts, and can invoke almost anything and exercise control over things in this realm!! Have u ever wonder why some people seems to have all the 'luck' when it comes to business dealings? Or just seem to come accross financial favour on an almost daily basis?.. Usually, money rituals are like catalysts or a magnet that attracts unmerited financial favour,at the expense of others!! Most times, there is a price to pay...and the price is so steep that the people that know the procedure will not do it for their own personal gain nor will they encourage it for their loved ones!! As par the myth that a spirit brings physical cash or cash is brought out of one calabash....that is just a myth!! But money rituals exist...for those that can pay the price! |
***I suspect Justwise does this for fun at times...its so obvious this guy is spouting 'Tales by Moonlight'...childish concept, childish content,I wonder why Justwise is still engaging him....SMH 'Does Undergraduate degree worth the price abroad....'..... The above statement from someone who has been schooling in UK for at least 3 years ![]() ![]() ? C'mon.... |
Vicjustice: I thought i should raise this awareness again since some people continue to desire that deadly country that is called UkraineBros...if someone decides to commit suicide,I beg no put hand join o, so that his blood will not be on ur neck for 'assisting suicide' ![]() |
newsbest007: Folks! considering that my documents have been kept by the BHC for over 50 working days, what do you think the decision will be when the UKBA successfully resolve the issue with my college and they are reinstated? I'm asking this because i feel that if they had other reason's to refuse me aside the issues with my college they probably will have given my documents back to me long time ago. i submitted my application with all my documents stated in my CAS and also produced a bank statement for 28 working days making sure that it didn't fall below the 9000 pounds on any day. my statement spans from June 8 to July 23rd. I need your opinions guys... thank uActually, they should have sorted out the issue by now...I'm actually taking an interest in this situation by the way.Going by their guidelines available from UKBA website,if there is any other reason for refusal, general grounds for refusal etc etc, they would have refused long ago, since they've not refused,it can be said that the school issue is the reason for the delay! Having said that, let me point out to you that there's a place in that form that mentions that the money in your account will continue to be available for your use during your studies, the ECO might decide to confirm whether the money is still being held in the account after the issue is resolved considering the fact that the statement of account is over 3 months.I think thats d only thing u have to be careful about. Also, they might not confirm...it depends on d ECO!! |
dont8: Yepa, you better do ![]() Guy, I decode that your combo, Since u dey go Kalakuta, before u leave dt axis, check national stadium for their beer and fish peppersoup,I swear its da best in d whole of lasgidi!! Solidly coded place!! Chei!! You guys dey make me miss lasgidi!! |
newsbest007: They didn't say they are issuing a new CAS. They said they will update it to deal with the delay since it has affected those who were supposed to have enrolled in september. If they think there is some fraud involved why will the BHC keep my documents for that long? The truth is that the CAS i was issued stated that my latest joining date was 28th September. When i sent an email to the BHC, they replied that my application has been deferred for further checks. I think probably they are not allowed to inform me about the issue they are having with the college hence that response. Then all you need is patience then,if you go through that report,I think a decision was supposed to have been made by today 23 Oct,2012. |
newsbest007: @Penfold. i appreciate your straightforwardness. Well, level 7 diploma strategic management is a postgraduate diploma course. I opted for that course because my cousin is studying there. He secured a visa for the April intake, and he didn't have this problem whatsoever.Oops, my mistake!! I assumed it was a masters programme. Well, since they were initially accredited for that course, and the issues they are having now, based on that report is that they have been told to review their standards, you just might have to wait untill they are cleared. Especially since u were aware of the courses they were accredited for before applying. So just excercise patience, although I still dont see how they can issues a CAS unless they've been cleared. |
@Justwise, I dont think the school is accredited for postgraduate studies. Even before they had issues, their accreditation was for some diploma courses,Pls go through this report.(Uploaded) @Poster,let justwise go through this report and advise accordingly, mebbe it might be prudent to start thinking of a refund and other alternatives |
@j justwise: If they are suspended as it seems at the moment then UKBA will not issue you a visa until the issue is resolved. But isnt that kinda strange, irregular and kinda fishy, if they are not on the register of sponsors, how are they going to issue a new CAS,since they don't have access to the sponsor management system of the UKBA again How can they now promise that they will issue a new CAS,that sounds fraudulent to me o,but then I might be wrong! But don't you think he should start requesting for a refund now, and start looking for another school? That sounds brutal but honestly wouldnt that be his best option now? Or what do you think? |
@Justwise Oops, didnt know you'd responded,October is almost ending,do you think that its still possible for him to commence studies this session? Even if he were given a visa,is it practicable for him to join a postgraduate class mid-semester? Just wondering?? |
newsbest007: It's always great to hear people sharing their success stories, while it's also difficult hearing people talk about their inability to secure their visa. I've learnt a lot from the wonderful people here. However, i also have my problem which i want to share. i've applied for a UK Tier 4 Visa since August 13, 2012 and as of now i've not received my decision yet. the last time i heard from the British High Commission in Ghana i was told they were still working on my application. Folks, we are talking about almost 50 working days and my status still reads, "My application has been forwarded to the BHC". I got in touch with my college and i was informed that they had an issue to resolve with the UKBA. I was however told that i should not be worried since it was not going to affect my application. The college informed me last thursday that they were going to update my CAS and send it to UKBA to cater for the delay. What do u guys think about my situation. Anyone with such an experience?Wow! 50 working days ![]() Well, Since your school said they are having issues with the UKBA, I think the first thing you need to is to check whether they are still on the register of sponsors, if they are, what is their status?(By the way, which school is that?) Then u might need to send an email to the UKBA in your country (Ghana,I guess...from your post) telling them that your school informed you that they are having an issue with them, and that they will issue a new CAS therefore you want to ascertain exactly what your status is...mebbe that might throw up something useful....thats what I think you should do, although I believe Justwise's input is seriousy needed in this case too, his wide experience will be useful. |
Ishowdels: Pals, pls am a novice here...did nt knw such exists on nairaland...pls I need all materials and infor for student visa cos i want to start processing my Msc in uk...any1 could be helpful..my emailFirst Step, MSc in which field, make up your mind on that first, then you can proceed to find out where the course is offered and when you want to start,January, April or September depending on the course, the school and your finances (I must say Google will be your friend here...Laffs) Find out their entry requirements, bearing in mind that a UK Masters is NOT CHEAP and it might not be route to migrating permanently to UK!!! Then you apply for admission...simple!!! |
@coogar, Just wondering.... Since you said he should get a new Identity, dyu mean he should get a new nigerian passport? If thats what you mean, how will he explain to the High Commission how he got to the UK in the first instance, cuz I happen to know that the Nigerian High Commission in UK will not even renew an expired Passport with no exit(Nig) and entry(UK) stamp on it plus valid visa, not to talk of issuing a fresh one. They'll tell the person to go to Abuja to renew the passport if there are no stamps and valid visa on it,and they only issue fresh passports/renewals for UK-born Nigerians or Nigerians with legal status. So how exactly is he going to get a new Identity/passport. |
dove30: Ok thanks.and before I forget I tried looking if I could see a forum on dependant visa for tier 4.after securing my visa I plan on applying for my wife and daughter.I would be doing my final year in ba in marketing.I want to know if I qualify to bring my family or notIs your course a Postgraduate course? Check if your degree is on NQF 7 or above and it lasts for at least 12 months, if it does, then you are qualified to bring your dependants, you just have to submit documents establishing their link to you, like wedding and birth certificates, In addition to the maintenance funds for each of them, |
pek: never help anyone carry his/her luggage!Verrrrry Veeeeeeeerrrrrry Important!! And also not to help anyone include their luggage with your own, even if they have excess luggage and u are still under ur own quota!! |
justwise: I really do not think you can do two full-time courses at the same time in two different cities.Wow!! Thats similar to the course I have in mind, ethical hacking and cyber security are close cousins, mine is a 9 month course, delivered through online modules and fortnightly face to face interactions with tutors, they are based in Manchester which is not too far from my base, sheffield. If the issue is about capacity and not legality then I'm ok.If someone is already doing something similar then it can't be a breach, abi? jkbimmy: Hi, You can take extra studies aside your main course. But as long as it does not affect ur main study for which you were given visa. You do not need any authorization for that. If it affects your main course then you are gonna be breaching your visa conditions. It's all on ukba website, not my own assumption. Thanks so much, but can u please give a link to the relevant section? |
@Justwise No, I havent, but I have a lot of free time and I'm looking at getting a professional qualification that will improve 'me' instead of wasting time chasing after one part-time job that might never come. |
justwise: It takes about 15-20 working days, Saturday and Sundays not included.@Justwise, I know this is a very rookie question but please kindly oblige me! 1. Is it Legal for me to enrol with a professional training body for another full time course while in the UK on a Tier 4 visa issued on a CAS sponsor license,my sponsor now is Sheffield Hallam University and the other school is a cyber-security training school in Manchester. 2. If it is legal,At the other school, since I don't need a CAS from them, can I request to be assessed as a 'Home Fee' student? Thanks...Its just that with all these free time I feel I should do a lot of personal self development so that one can be better equipped for the job market. |
bato231: Hello,In addition to what Justwise said, make sure the money in your account is sufficient for the balance of your tution fees and the maintenance funds and its there for 28 days. What I mean is this, you have paid 5000 GBP tution dep to the school, and u are adding another 5000 GBP to the 7,200 GBP maintenance, does that means that your tution is 10000 GBP? If it is no probs, If not then the balance has to be in your account. |
Ceefrankiehowdy: bad news...is potiskum yobe state capital? No, Damaturu is the Capital of Yobe state,Potiskun just happens to be one of the largest and most modernized towns in d state (alongside Gashua,Nguru,Fika etc) The NYSC camp is at Potiskum likewise the Fed Govt College. It is also the town of Adamu Ciroma |
Oyibopepper: Up to this moment, I have not received a text alert from VFS.Relaaaaaaaaaax!! Na u pay for courier o,laffs |
Oyibopepper: Sorry I just saw this. My status changed to 'processed application delivered to ups(courier) yday night. I still dey wait UPS. Well the school's W/Africa reg. Officer said to call her when and if I get the visa. Am still praying and hoping. Thank you. Hope you get urs tmorrow.Congratulations!! I'm sure you'll get d Visa... Come with plenty 'Robb' and 'Heatol' o, Sheffield is pretty cold now!! |
omidan21: Hello house.pls a very important question.I intend to apply for the present visa lottery but I wanna apply as being married though am not but if either maself or ma fiancee happens to win,we intend doing d court wedding immediately to certify our being married.now my question is is deir any page that wld reflect my marital status on ma passport, cause I intend getting a passport now cause dose uni are asking for passport refernce number en I intend filling single instead of married in all d universities application form.pls I need to know if ma marital status wld reflect on ma passport so as to know what to do abt the visa lottery marital status. How will you explain the fact that your marriage documents carry a date later that your Visa lottery application date? To the american consulate,it'll be that you either lied in your application or that the marriage certificate is a forgery. If you backdate your marriage certificate, since for the type of Visa you want (DV lottery) all documents are verified, they will unearth the fact that the marriage certificate has been tampered with. In either case, the penalty is a life Ban. If you're not yet married, state that you are single..If you win, your husband,if you are married by then can still apply based on ur own status.you'll only need to prove that he is your husband and dt u got married after d application. Honesty is the Best Policy! |
Rooneyboy: But in truth , "How well grounded is this man in music ?"To answer your question,so well grounded in MUSIC that he is one of the very few MUSICIANS that play with a full band in Nigeria today. |
king.joe:Bros...Keep hope alive, call them again on Monday, the fact that its taking so long means that there is hope,if they are going to deny you, they wont even waste time. |
quote author=Oyibopepper] Thank you so much. Its Uni of sheffield, public health (scharr). They were sounding so rigid on the phone.[/quote]K! Will get back to you on Monday |
@Oyinbopepper...If the UKBA grants you the Visa,ur school will enrol you,of that I am sure of,just let them know that the delay is from UKBA.I'm in sheffield hallam university, whats ur department,I could make enquiries in person for you on Monday, but I'm quite sure that if UKBA gives you a visa,ur school will enrol you.My class resumed on 19th of Sept and someone from Lesotho still enrolled this week. @King.Joe...keep hope alive!! |
king.joe:Bro...You will be fine, start making ur travel plans so that u can move immediately they answer you,If you are queried at the Point of Entry as par late resumption, let them know that its d UKBA that delayed your apllication, its not likely your school will penalize you for coming late...so,keep hope alive! |
king.joe:Relax Bro, Mebbe you should mail them ur number again, include your application number, and date of birth in the mail,if possible u can make ur name, application No and date of birth the subject of the mail...just my thots o! |
king.joe:Yeah, they are authorized to randomly select people and interview them over the phone. At times, they do call to clarify anything that they are not clear about.I know at least 2 cases in which the applicants were called and asked questions over the phone, their application was successful.See it as a positive sign that they've been trying to contact you.If your application doesnt stand a chance of success, they wont even bother to delay it pending when they are able to contact you, they'll just deny you outright! So be encouraged, there is hope.In fact, expect their call tomorrow morning. |
Adiahabasi: I sent an email to first bank asking for the max amount that can be withdrawn in d UK with their master card, the reply was surprisingThat is not true...You cannot withdraw more than 1000GBP per day with a debit Mastercard.I have tried this with a Firstbank Mastercard less than 48hrs ago, call first contact and confirm,I did before I left Nigeria,Do not mislead people. If its for account opening purposes, simply do an internet Transfer,The limit for that is 5500GBP per day.By the way,are you planning to go into money laundering/trafficking,or why this interest in cash limits? |
kunlewoye: O thou brainy Penfold! Never thought of this mehn. My next moveLaffs...What I mean is that some Banks, back in Nigeria, charge their customers for the issuance of a Mastercard on their account,First Bank for example normally issues a Verve card free of charge, but if you request for a Mastercard I think they charge a fee of 2K NGN annually. |
