Politics › Re: Electronic Transmission Of Results Are Mere Guidelines by Penguin2: 7:20am On Mar 04, 2023
shortgun:
Electronic transmissions of polling unit results is just a mere guideline not supported by law according to the APC.

The mandate thieves forget that guidelines become laws once they are issued by a body empowered by law to do so.

They forget that guidelines are backed by the constitution, this is why INEC is given the power to make them by the electoral Act.

If the laws gives you power to make guidelines and regulations they become binding once you make them! Just like laws!

They forget that it is deceitful for INEC to issue guidelines for elections then turn around and do the opposite.

Guidelines and regulations are binding on events on which they are issued unless vacated and new ones issued for the same event.

The discretion that the constitution gives INEC only means no new legislation will be required for issuance of guidelines for future elections...
INEC indeed is at discretion to issue guidelines and they become legal once they are issued, it will be illigal for INEC or any party to go against valid guideline.

Section 60(5) of the electoral Act 2022
The presiding officer shall transfer the results including total number
of accredited voters and the results of the ballot in a manner as prescribed by
the Commission.

Some questions for APC and INEC;
At what point during elections did the official guidelines by INEC became invalid?
Were new guidelines issued, communicated to political parties and eligible voters?
What was the new guidelines?

APC and INEC are trying to be cleaver by half,
Unless the judges are comprised, the argument that guidelines are not supported by law doesn't hold water.
Fine, who ignores its own guideline midway into a contest or an exercise where you are meant to be an impartial umpire?

Can the Commission “prescribe” guidelines antithetical, and at variance, with the law?
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Was Into Drugs - Sahara Reporters by Penguin2: 6:29am On Mar 04, 2023

The one wey pain me pass na say he said that Tinubu won Rivers State “convincingly” and he hopes to replicate such “landslide victory”.

Look at the Tonye Cole that we were considering voting for.

These guys have same criminal mentality with Tinubu but only posing as a saint because they are not in power yet.

Well, Rivers people will show him how Tinubu won Rivers in a landslide next Saturday😏.

While I’m optimistic that Obi will retrieve his stolen mandate, the person that placed a bet that Tinubu will win should be given his price.

Referee’s poor officiating doesn’t change the result of the game.

The problem is not inec. The problem is the people.
People were compromised.
If INEC had kept its promise of transmitting from polling units, the compromised people would have been useless.

INEC takes every blame.

And am not seeing Abia indigenes opening different threads about how to vote a better candidate in the Abia State Governorship Election, nah only Lagos need a good Governor, Abia State no need am. sad
How many seats did PDP win in Abia in the last election?🙄

Even Ikpeazu lost his senatorial ambition. He didn’t even come second.

But you must talk na, even when it doesn’t make sense.

Politics › Re: Austria Newspaper: Tinubu, A Billionaire Druglord Announced As Nigeria President by Penguin2: 1:30pm On Mar 02, 2023
He didn’t not win the election, he was rigged in.

He’s not our President-Elect but INEC’s President-Elect.

Now the international community would think every Nigerian is a criminal since we ‘elected’ a criminal🤦.

Una still de cry over spilt milk?

For doing this to PDP and Atiku, igbos will never see the gates of Aso Villa for the rest of their entire bitter lives.

Soludo warned you guys about nzogbu nzogbu politics, but you refused to see the big picture.

Una go cry blood.

Congratulations to BAT
Sai Atiku
Atiku will actually cry more because this was his last chance and he’s been retired for being too greedy to leave the Southeast to take their ticket in PDP.

Cry more over that.

Weep not for Ndigbo.

We’ve returned from the worst.
Politics › INEC Press Statement On Results Transmission In November, 2022. by Penguin2(op): 11:29am On Mar 02, 2023
This is INEC Press Statement in November 2022 stating how the 2023 presidential election will be conducted and how results from polling units will be transmitted in “real time” like was done in Ekiti and Osun.

Read through this statement and determine if this procedure was followed.

Which umpire changes the rule of the game in the middle of the game.

Ovedje Ogboru who would have moved to LP to use Peter Obi's waves and Win,
was already in APGA when Labour Party was formed. sad

Deltans just have to make do with Ovie Omo-Agege. undecided
You don’t think he deserves a chance 🤔?

Uduaghan is FAR better.

It's like comparing Oshiomhole and Obaseki in governance. huh

Uduaghan renovated Primary and Sec schools, Gave Undergraduate Bursary, Paid free WAEC, Organized Free Delta Transport, Free Maternity, and soooo on.

Okowa came and DESTROYED everything. embarassed

But my grouse with some Okowa's Critics is that they support APC/Buhari/Tinubu. undecided
Who is LP candidate in Delta🤔?
Politics › Re: Why Has No World Leader Congratulated Tinubu? by Penguin2(op): 5:08pm On Mar 01, 2023
0monnak0da:
Is it my president elect or our president elect?
What is the benchmark time for how long it should take for congratulations to occur?
It is unintelligent to expect congratulations for a disputed and potentially litigated election
In a manageably fair election, the world leaders will congratulate the winner while waiting for the outcome of the redress of losers.

The world knows that what happened in Nigeria is a sham.

I’ve seen some fools say that Tinubu doesn’t need their validation but he will not be president alone.
Politics › Re: Why Has No World Leader Congratulated Tinubu? by Penguin2(op): 1:43pm On Mar 01, 2023
0monnak0da:
You are toxic and unintelligent
The PDP and L.P. are yet to concede and are disputing the results
They can still go to court and could win. That is not unrealistic. It is a genuine possibility that the victory is overturned
Even if you oppose Tinubu,do it intelligently. Now you seem to be barking like an orphaned canine
What is toxic and unintelligent in asking if world leaders have congratulated your president-elect🤔?
Politics › Re: Why Has No World Leader Congratulated Tinubu? by Penguin2(op): 1:39pm On Mar 01, 2023
FreeStuffsNG:
They congratulated him even before the election.

They were trooping to his house before the election for a reason but most of you were too naive to know.

As for official letters, they do not channel congrats through social media where you spend idle time.
Really?

But it was not the same when Ruto won his election in Kenya or when Lula won in Brazil…

The social media handles of these world leaders functioned then.

Why?🤔
Politics › Why Has No World Leader Congratulated Tinubu? by Penguin2(op): 12:41pm On Mar 01, 2023
Over 12 hours after Tinubu was declared President-Elect of Nigeria by INEC, I’ve not heard of any world leader congratulate Tinubu for his ‘victory’, not even the president of Togo 🇹🇬.

What’s happening?

Why is the world silent to Tinubu’s ‘victory’?

Could they be privy to what some of us are saying about the elections?

Tinubu boys how far? Which world leader has congratulated Tinubu?🤔

Something has happened to Nigeria.

Something has happened to Nigerians.

Something so grave that we cannot cry.

If we turn right the sun scorches us.

Tell Azikiwe, Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello…

Tell Tafawa Balewa too… and all our ancestors

That something has happened to Nigeria 🇳🇬

You are ludicrously funny...

The Constitution is clearly unambiguous on this provision...

You write an exam and the examiner stated that you won't be deemed to have passed unless you answer and pass a certain question...

You skipped the question but cleared the rest of the paper...what have you achieved?

You attempt questions without reading the instructions carefully...
Are you not surprised at how daft they are 🤦

But of course, I doubt you have the capacity to understand that aspect of the report.
