I think Seun is trying way too hard to clean up NL. Words like nu/de is being replaced with unclad (nonsense), incest (perfectly standard English word) is being substituted with inbreeding which conveys an entirely wrong even distant meaning.

If Yahoo allows these words why doesnt NL or does Seun think his NL is more sophisticated than the world's most acclaimed online forum?

Your situation is as sensitive as it is potentially embarrassing.

The less you see and interact with her the better. This is possible even if you live in the same house afterall a man's presence in the house is usually confined to the living room and bedroom.

Ribadu, Oraanoye Argue Before Jonathan

Somebody should correct this thread title to reflect the true spelling of the name of this recycled thieving old civil servant called STEVE ORONSAYE. He is a Bini man.

It seems the neighborhoods the robbers attacked are well appointed meaning owners living there would have arms. Why did no one attempt to engage these robbers before the police arrived? Imagine if one or two of them had been felled by a sniper's fire afterall the home owner has the 'cover' advantage.

The point is a lot of Nigerians actually have arms- legally or however acquired but they get squeamish when confronted with that critical moment. I read a story not long ago of how a certain Ibo man was told to open his door to the robbers who were laying siege to his house. Of course he refused. The robbers forced their way into the house, took his gun from him and shot him dead.

If we look at the chronicle of cases brought against public servants above we will see a pattern of active connivance by the judiciary.

The Nigerian judiciary is a major stumbling block against corruption. The stench emanating from the bench is poisoning our atmosphere at all levels.

The NJC as a regulating body has to make itself relevant or be proscribed without further delay. Our Judges are too corrupt oooo. We need the NJC to make a few good examples.

The question is who is going to bring these people to book? I actually had faith in Ibrahim Lamorde when he was made EFCC chairman until he started talking about lie detection test on Nigerians. Thereafter I lost all hope and began to feel sorry for this country.

Efcc was 'EFCC' because of one man only. The moment Ribadu left, it became another parastatal of a very corrupt Government.

Perhaps we shouldnt blame politicians for being corrupt afterall who wouldnt want to exploit available opportunity. We should blame institutions and persons tasked at government expense to prosecute corrupt officials but have either failed or neglected to do so.

Ibrahim Lamorde simply went to sleep after he was sworn in. In effect there is no operational EFCC in Nigeria as we speak. Therefore no deterrence to crime and right now it is open season for graft.
