Strictly speaking they are not without each other. They are in frequent communication. In these days of cell phones it is difficult for couples to completely stay out of touch if the guy is not in jail.

If you are talking of conjugal access, that is a different matter. Normally it is said that a couple needs two contacts per week. Complete fidelity by both partners is unlikely. 8 yrs is a long time. The man may be able to depend on his will power but I dont see how the woman can cope. Generally when some women begin to say things like that (absent husband), know that they are asking for your attention.

I have never been to a church service I didnt feel like sleeping. Even when the sermon is really interesting. In the end you come away with self guilt which is why you just want to be left alone. Cell phone and browsing in Church is a complete no no when you get to a certain age. I guess students can get away with that.

We need travel module 40LYs x 365 (14,600) times faster to arrive there in a day! For God's sake, time is relative and planets are not like Apple fruit, it takes hundreds of billions of Earth years for them to burn out.

Now a little analysis of what you have said. Light speed machine isnt our perfect (read desirable) vehicle. But travel module (read machine) travelling at 40 light yrs but 365 times faster will get us there in a day.

For pple getting ready to transmute in whatever form or dimension to the diamond planet, they may already be 170000yrs too late even if they get there today.

40 light years away means it took the light that left this planet (so we can see it) over 171000yrs to reach earth- meaning any of numerous things could have happened to that planet by now. It may even have evaporated out of existence or sucked into its star by gravitational pull.

So I hope our diamond prospectors will rem this as they get ready to leave Nigeria enmasse.

Earthquake as everyone know it around the world is alien to Nigeria both in concept and in reality.

The kind of earthquake I envision could happen is someone disappearing with the entire federal budget for the whole year (or something similar). That will be some real earthquake. It may appear far fetched but very possible at the rate the Jonathan govt is going. What we keep having so far is earth tremor (measuring around 3.0 on the richter scale) its constant but not yet an earthquake.
