Wait o. She's Nigerian and her name is Natasha Agard? Where is she from?
You dey mind them. She is Nigerian now because she wants Nigerian vote and after that, she will turn to Ethiopian or whatever and call us corrupt. Let her vote for herself, Nigerians are not that foolish undecided. Don't come close to people only because you need something from them. It's annoying and demeaning.
PoliticsRe: Oil Boom Likely In Northern Nigeria -experts by PepERSprAY(op): 5:56pm On Oct 31, 2008
you mean they are the ones holding nigeria together?
Will you push them away? They are the problem in Nigeria but cannot be pushed away peacefully. They are like the cancer of of the bone marrow. Southern Nigeria is not happily married to the North and I know the South wants a peaceful divorce. Oil boom and overall economic boom may make their Northern spouse to look elsewhere for another bride.

Pennywise:
I had very high hopes for this boy thinking with the kind of intelligence Etteh has just anyone will be fine for that seat. He has turned out to be intellectually barren. I weep for Nigeria each time this boy grants an interview huh. Keyamo, more grease to your elbow. I hope this path will lead Bankole direct to jail
Bankole is innocent. This is another ploy by greedy, evil and corrupt Northerners to paint a southerner black. The annoying thing is that they are using a southern stooge to achieve their aim. Shame on you Keyamo.

CrimeMan Kills Lover, Chops Off Own Manhood by PepERSprAY(op): 5:35pm On Oct 31, 2008
Man kills lover, chops off own manhood
By CHUKS ONUOHA, Aba
Friday, October 31, 2008

A man in Abia State who murdered his ex-lover and thereafter severed his own manhood explained before he died that he killed the woman and inflicted mortal wounds on himself because he couldn’t live with the thought of his woman having a romance with another man.

He was also said to have told security operatives that he cut off his own male organ to prevent him from sleeping with any other woman.

Goddy , a farmer residing in Onuiyagh Community in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State was said to have, in a fit of jealousy, murdered Agnes, his two-year live-in-lover after allegedly seeing her with her new lover. He was said to have subsequently cut off his own manhood and placed it on the lover’s corpse.

"Now, you cannot have sex and I cannot have sex. We were meant for each other and you decided to leave me I cannot afford to see you have sex with another man and I don’t want to have sex with another woman," the man reportedly told the lifeless Agnes.

After hacking the woman to death on a farm road, Goddy was said to have rushed to Bende Police Station to report himself. He was said to have bled to death shortly after showing up at the station.

Eyewitnesses told Daily Sun that Goddy had been living with Agnes for some years before disagreement set in between the two love birds.

Goddy had on the fateful day waylaid Agnes on the farm road and dealt several matchet blows on her which led to her instant death.

At the police station where he reported himself, help could not come quickly. After narrating his tale in pains while bleeding profusely, Goddy reportedly slumped and gave up the ghost.

Emeka Chimezie, who resides in Onuiyagh community said Goddy hailed from Afikpo in Ebonyi State, while Agnes, his lover, hailed from Edah in the same state.

According to Chimezie, Goddy was keeping another woman simply called Mrs Ojiegbe , who he had earlier allegedly snatched from her husband from a neigbouring community.

Said Chimezie: "At first, the three lovebirds were living together, having sex together and the two women were receiving favours from Goddy without complaints. Suddenly, there was a downturn in the fortunes of Goddy who could no longer satisfy the two women. This led to regular quarrels between the two women as who should have upper hand in bed and material gifts from their lover. However, Mrs. Ojiegbe who appeared stronger and bigger was always beating up Agnes who as a result, decided to go out instead of being beaten by Ojiegbe everyday.

"The development did not go down well with Goddy who was already used to sleeping with the two women every night. He begged her to come back and she refused. He threatened her and she remained undaunted. He then promised to teach her a lesson she would never forget."

Meanwhile, Mrs. Ojiegbe is said to be on the run for fear of being arrested by the police.

Two years ago, a young man named Chinedu who lived in Bende Road in Umuahia reportedly also chopped off his own manhood after his involvement in a failed money making rituals. His alleged defence then was that a voice had told him to sever his organ as it was leading him into temptation.

Jibunor insists on Delta-Igbo governor in 2011
From Hendrix Oliomogbe (Asaba)

CITING marginalisation of the Anioma people of Delta State, the President-General of the Delta North Political Forum, Chief Newton Jibunor, yesterday in Akwukwu-Igbo, Oshimili North council insisted that the zone must produce the next governor of the state in 2011.

Seventeen years after the creation of the state from the defunct Bendel State, the Igbo of Delta North Senatorial District is the only area out of the three senatorial districts that is yet to produce the governor of the state.

While incumbent Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, is an Itsekiri from Delta South, both former governors, Chief Felix Ibru and James Ibori are both Urhobo from Delta Central.

Jibunor said recently that the group has moved into liberation mission for the emancipation of its people from the on-going marginalisation in Delta State.

The Anioma nation, he insisted, has the right calibre of people to pilot the affairs of the state towards a positive direction.

"It was high time the zone produced the next governor of the state and the people must be organised as the next elections in 2011 are fast approaching," he added.

At a rally in Akwukwu-Igbo, he said the movement cannot fold its hands any longer and remain mute while the people of Anioma are being marginalised socially, economically, politically among others in the state by government.

Jibunor, who is famous for driving across the Sahara desert, maintained that the group decided to go into the liberation mission as a result of the non-transparent and insincerity of the government.

He said: "If it deserved myself and my group being killed in order to liberate Anioma nation from the present slumber and marginalisation, we are ready to offer our lives. Over the years, our people have been voiceless and we have decided not to tolerate this any longer. Enough is enough," he lamented.

To him, this was most appropriate time to start the liberation mission and protect the future of Anioma nation and citizenry, as well as bring to a stop the negligence of Anioma people by the past and present government.

He called for unity, stressing that Anioma people should come under one umbrella in order to achieve a better goal.

Oil boom likely in Northern Nigeria -Experts
By Adeola Yusuf, Reporter, Lagos

Major oil discovery, which can fetch Nigeria another commercial crude exploration and production, is likely in the northern part of the country, petroleum explorationists have said.

The crude geologists and geophysicists under the aegis of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) who made this known through their President, Kingsley Ojoh submitted that a modern technology, 3D seismic should be deployed to realize this dream.

The Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Abubakar Yar'adua said over the weekend that the corporation has invested about $500 million (N58 billion) in Chad basin oil search and the geologists declared that though about 240 billion barrels of crude have been discovered in Africa, over 150 billion barrels are yet to be discovered in the continent, making the Chad search likely for commercial discovery.

Speaking exclusively with Daily Independent after a NAPE seminar in Lagos, Ojoh declared that the Red sea, like the northern Nigeria "has once been written off in terms of oil exploration and discovery. It was written in black and white by some western explorationists that that region could not have oil deposits but with the aids of modern technology, it is today one of the finest region where oil is been explored in commercial quantity."

Although the NAPE boss confirmed that the "geology and other exploration activities in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria have been proved by technology to be superior," he declared that the north "can not be ruled out in terms of commercial discovery."

When exploration at the Chad basin started in 1976, according to Ojoh, "only 2D seismic was used but we don not do anything (exploration) in the Niger Delta without 3D seismic. With 3D or any other advance technology, it is likely that major discovery can be made."

Disclosing that there are three prospective sub-basins-Gubio, Maiduguri and Baga Lake, in the Chad basin, he stated that "any find in any of these sub-basins would be named after them."

On oil blocks allocation in the north, Ojoh said: "The Federal Government gave these oil blocks so that the exploration and Production companies would be able to make finds in the region."

NNPC, it would be recalled has commenced preparations for exploration activities in the North and GMD of the corporation, Yar'Adua said while seeking the support of Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Mustapha Umar El-Kanemi and other traditional rulers in the state that field personnel would be deployed to the lake to work for a period of 12 to 18 months.

The vote is not being held in Nigeria, but the USA, I doubt the majority of Americans voting are aware of the tribal stereotypes hovering around in naija
They already knoow Nigeria and 419 and typing Nigeria alone on google will bring tribal threads from nairaland to the offshore and that will surely be an easy read.

So If I am a murderer, you are also a murderer because you are also a nigerian abi? When voting, I believe that the majority taking part are intelligent enough to know not everyone is necessarily the same when it comes to a country.
Sorry, thats the way Americans think.

Speaking of Nigerians, what has tribes got to do it?
The media will do a background documentary on him, his tribe and his political rivals will surely characterize him if his fathers people have issues.
