They won't know the frustration associated with it until they experience it. It use to pollute boreholes. We started bathing with fish water, we couldn't wash our clothes. We had to be begging for water from people's houses to bath, cook and wash. It is very very frustrating.

Might not be jealousy but frustrated. Have you lived around them before? The fishes pour their waste products in the waters, and the water is flushed every morning, you need to perceive the odour, what about places with stagnant gutters?
