Dear God, if Tinubu truly won this year's presidential election by people's mandate, may he be sworn in come May 29th, and may he finish his tenure successfully. But if he stole another person's mandate through the help of INEC, may he never sit on that presidential seat.

Please say a loud Amen!
Amen.

Tinubu will be sworn in an God will give him the wisdom to steer Nigeria to greater heights.

You claimed that Tinubu was voted for because he will modernise Nigeria.

1. What has buhari been doing for 8years as president?

2. Has he been demodernising nigeria?

3. Are you saying that buhari failed despite Tinubus claim that buhari was Nigeria's only solution?

4. Can you be more explicit as to what exactly it is that buhari achieved for Nigeria in his 8years?

5. Which wilderness was nigeria in 8years ago?
I don't have your time

That's interesting. So what has buhari been doing for the last 8 years? Has he been demodernising nigeria?

Are you saying that buhari failed despite Tinubus claim that buhari was Nigeria's only solution?
Buhari brought Nigeria from Egypt to the wilderness. Tinubu will take Nigeria from the wilderness to the promised land..

Buhari did not fail. Same way Moses did not fail.
Moses was Israel's only solution to leave Egypt. Likewise Buhari.

Guys they are many countries who are destroyed during 1950s and are way more developed than Nigeria.
Singapore ,South Korea,Japan, Germany and many more countries.
A country like India which is poorer than Nigeria in 2010 is now becoming one of the world leader.

we just need to change our thinking for us to move forward .
That's why we elected Tinubu.

DeLaRue:
Nigeria is certainly lagging behind and should be doing a lot better in.many areas.

But some of the countries people are quick to compare Nigeria with have more than 300-year headstart over Nigeria.

Comparison is good, but we also need to be realistic.

Today, the pace of change is so fast, and the first movers ie Western countries and now some Asian countries are so far ahead, I don't know how African countries will catch up. The world system, including globalisation, is also not in our favour.

Egypt is struggling badly. South Africa has not progressed much economically. Ghana is on its knees. Most African countries are basket cases.

These days, the more I look at the world in my private moments, the more I fear we may never catch up with the most successful/developed countries in the world.

Our systems and our minset as a people are far removed from what they need to be for us to develop, let alone catch up.

Our population is growing too fast, faster than our economy, which means the country can't even maintain the status quo in terms of standard of living, let alone improving it. Too many of our people are not being educated. Those who think they're educated did not receive the right education.

We have simply not set ourselves up to compete.

Makes me sweat when I think about all these things, as I desperately want the best for the tens of millions of struggling people who need and deserve better.
This our population growth is a cause for alarm.
In 2015, Nigeria's population was approximately 180 million.
In 2023 (just 8 years) we're now approximately 215 million. That's 35 million people in 8 years..
That's more than the whole Ghana population in Nigeria in 8 years.

Nigeria should pass a policy concerning population..
It need not be 1 or 2 children per child.
It should be more taxes per children.
That way it will reduce child bearing.

Throughout his 8years he was a lame duck.
I bet you, you'll see his Legacies when Tinubu enters..

In other to criticise Tinubu well, you'll begin to say, "but it was Buhari that built this not Tinubu. It was Buhari that started this.. This project was 99% completed before Buhari left. This policy was made by Buhari. It was Buhari that did the rice revolution in Nigeria not Tinubu. It was Buhari that built all these power plants and the Siemens deal was 85% complete before Buhari left, it was Buhari that invested in electricity etc"

All these things you're swearing does not exist now, will begin to exist when you want to smear Tinubu's presidency..😂😂
