Jona had the required spread and majority of the votes, that's why he won. Presently, in my opinion, none of the three biggest have the spread yet to win 25% in 24 states. Tinibu can do it, but this is now shaky with all the intrigue coming from the NW
No intrigue coming out of the NW. Tinubu will win Atiku in the North. Screenshot this.
PoliticsRe: Simplest Way To Know The "Obidients" Are Actually The Majority In Nigeria Today by Perfectbeing(m): 1:13pm On Jan 29, 2023
LocalStandard1:
When the withdrawal limit was pecked at N20,000 a day and N100,000 a week, notice what happened. There was uproar, from all angles of the country. I wrote about it multiple times, venting frustration out through the roof. Many of us gave reasons it can't and shouldn't work.

The Government since increased the withdrawal limit. It has also increased the PVC collection date twice.

But they continue to refuse to extend the deadline for the collation of the old Naira notes.

What has changed? I mean, the Government can increase the limit by 2 weeks and it won't interfere with the elections. Then why haven't they, really?!

Cos the majority are either quite about it or are actually even celebrating the policy. The majority that should vent anger and cry about it online and off are either indifferent or in support of it, for once.

This is probably the most people affected yet people approved policy by the Buhari administration, and he knows it very well. That's why not even the house of reps, the Senate, the coalition of governors, the Bank managers, the opposition together with Tinubu, even the cabals can make him change his mind so far.

Don't get me wrong, I am so affected I can't even buy bread. Don't get me wrong, the policy is highly injurious to the nation, and soon like India, Nigeria will realize that reality.

But I feel Buhari envies Goodluck Jonathan's live from his transition of power to current, and how much respect he gets now from Nigerians and internationally. When GoodLuck says "my ambition is not worth the live of any Nigerian", Buhari is trying to say in his last months as President, "every Nigerian is free to vote any candidate of their choice, no intimidation, no monetary inducement, just free, fair, credible elections". He want to leave the way he came, but better.

Buhari might leave office a celebrity of democracy, I think!!
Dem don increase the deadline today. So wetin you go talk now?

100 billion to fund Atiku’s Campaign. Na wa oh!!!

And at 21% per Annum? That’s ridiculous, so if it takes them 4 years to pay back, they’ll be paying #214.35 billion

We seriously need to stop borrowing in this country, it’s doing more harm than good. We need to put an end to the politics of financial prowess. We need to produce instead of consume.

Get your PVCs guys, vote right🙂
Foolish person will open mouth waaaa. Where would Nigeria get money to finance project and run the economy?
You think it's oil money? You guys are just too unknowledgeable about Nigeria's economy 🤦‍♂️

I know you would foolishly say Nigeria has 1001 natural resources.. But you'd be stupid to know that between us and those natural resources are billions of dollars worth of investment.
Where will those money come from? Oil?

Delta money go suffer this period grin

PDP/APC dey cry because of Buhari/Emefiele's policy and new notes
You really no get sense o. You think Obi, Tinubu, Atiku and Kwankwaso would affected by the new naira notes?
Fidelity Bank can give Obi new Notes when ever he wants.
Atiku has numerous companies that can get the naira notes from Banks whenever he wants.
Tinubu has bank managers to call if he needs money..
You guys are still novices when it comes to Nigeria..

Feb 25th will teach you a big lesson.
PoliticsDelta Assembly Approves ₦‎100 Billion Loan For Okowa by Perfectbeing(op): 10:19pm On Jan 28, 2023
The Delta House of Assembly has approved a request by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for a N100 billion credit facility, out of the N150 billion earlier approved Consolidated Syndicated Loan.

The approval followed the adoption of a motion moved by the Majority Leader of the Assembly, Hon. Ferguson Onwo, and seconded by the member representing Ughelli North I constituency, Mr Charles Oniyere at the Assembly’s plenary in Asaba on Thursday.

The Governor had transmitted a letter for the N100 billion loan request to the lawmakers through the Speaker, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, who duly presented the same to the House.

Oborevwori, who is the state’s 2023 Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), noted that the assembly had on April 26, 2022 received and had subsequently approved the governor’s request of N150 billion consolidated syndicated loan from Zenith Bank.

Okowa said in the letter, “With the change of Lead Arranger from Zenith Bank to Premium Trust Bank Limited, alongside other participating banks willing to accede to the pricing terms and further documentations, Premium Trust Bank Limited has insisted that in line with the prudential guidelines and extant regulations, a House of Assembly’s resolution was required to enable the bank consummate the transaction.

”Consequent on this, the State Executive Council at its first meeting held on Monday, January 16, 2023 considered and approved for the state government to obtain N100 billion out of the earlier approved N150 billion consolidated syndicated loan led by Premium Trust Bank Limited in line with the reverse terms and conditions.”

Moreover, the governor explained that the loan would be used for the payment of contractors and funding of an assortment of crucial ongoing projects across the state.

Meanwhile, the House also granted another request by the governor for a N2 billion bank facility to fund additional investment of three per cent equity in UTM Offshore Limited Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) Project.

The approval of the N2 billion request similarly followed the adoption of a motion moved by the Majority Leader of the Assembly, Hon Onwo and seconded by the Minority Leader, Hon Innocent Anidi.

Governor Okowa had also transmitted the letter to the House through the Speaker, Hon Oborevwori, seeking approval for the N2 billion credit.

Okowa wrote, “I wish to state that in order to further diversify the economic base of the state and take advantage of the increased demand for natural gas in Europe and other parts of the world due to the shortfall in the supply as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

”UTM Offshore Limited, which in the first instance offered 5 (five) percent equity share to the Delta State under a term loan facility from Fidelity Bank, has offered additional 5 (five) percent equity to the state.

”In view of the bank’s commitment to partner with the state government on this investment with an offer of N20 billion loan facility. The State Executive Council at it’s first meeting held on Monday, Jan. 16 considered and approved for the state government to accept the offer by Fidelity Bank Plc.

The terms and conditions for the loan include; interest rate of 21 percent per annum, management fees of one percent flat, three years tenure of payment, facility amount of N20 billion.

”Also, the facility to be secured by the issuance of an Irrevocable Standing Payment Order (ISPO) authorising the Accountant General of the Federation to deduct from the State FAAC allocation monthly.”

Ojukwu used the Ijaw oil monies to execute the war,,,while Boro use his money.

Ojukwu use weapons of government to fight the war,,,Adaka only bought weapons.

Ojukwu used government power government to buy machinery from other countries to train his boys how to make weapons but Adaka never see such opportunity.

Ojukwu used all ibibios, Efiks, Annangs to fight the war,,but Adaka use only Ijaw youths..

If Adaka had gotten half of the Ojukwu advantage, he could have sink nigeria.

Adaka Boro is a god of war.

We Ijaws over had the numbers to sustain revolution..

2009 fight that forced nigeria government to now and grant amnesty, do you think other ethnicities help us? ofcourse only Ijaw youths made the government bow to their kneels..
Because of that 2009 fight we won, if we make threat, government will be jittery....don't see how a wanted tompolo put fear on government?

we have not fight today doesn't mean we don't have the numbers or powers to defeat nigeria again.
The only problem FG had about fully going all out on you would mean destroying the Niger Delta as well as destroying pipelines and oil wells which would affect the country.
Left for that you guys are nothing to Federal might.

Christians will not vote for APC.... look at what is happening in kaduna MUZLEM/MUZLEM REGIME

No student will vote for APC....our future in danger should APC govt continue in Power after what they did to Nigerians we will never forget...

Lekki MASSACRE 😭😭😭😭😭 Still fresh in our mind.

APC may win slightly in Southwest.

last presidential election APC was controlling the six states in south west but the results of the presidential election was too close to call, PDP even won Oyo and Ondo with seating APC governors. See data below:

Ekiti (APC 219,231, PDP 154,032)
Osun (APC 347,634, PDP 337,377)
Ogun (APC 281,762, PDP 194,655)
Oyo (APC 365,229, PDP 366,690)
Ondo (APC 241,769, PDP 275,901)
Lagos (APC 580,825, PDP 448,015)
Total (APC, 2,036,450, PDP 1,776,670).

The people that are making noise, thinking a certain party is administering the state, will give an edge. I just pity them. The performance of APC had not even helped them but they are convenient to make noise on state election matter. For years now, APGA had been winning Anambra Governorship election but at the Presidential level, PDP had been carrying the day.

No doubt, Tinubu will want to win big in south west, then throw around dollars and naira but I doubt he will get pass 55% of the votes with his money because people are angry because of hunger.
You're leaving out one key issue.
Southwest didn't have Tinubu (a son of the soil) in 2019. They have this time.
