One of my colleagues at work cant use Copper T IUCD cos her body reacts to it. Her Dr adviced her to go with Mirena instead (its a hormonal IUD shaped like copper T)

Same boat with you sis. I have been spotting for over 2 weeks on and off. When i enter sun, that spot on my arm gets itchy, (no infection), i even developed infection (i think) its totally related cause my neighbour is experiencing thesame symptom. The wahala is plenty, i went back to remove it and put IUD instead but i was asked to give it time. The explanation was, its a foreign object that has been placed and once our bodies get used to it, symptoms will normalise. So i was given like a month to come if all is not well, especially the spotting best believe i'm taking it out.

Evening Moms.. please for mama's that had a CS & took Trebor esp to quickly aid bowel movement sounds... did you swallow the liquid produced or how did you go about it?

Can Minta be used in place of Trebor as Original Trebor is not available?

Pls any other safe suggestions as to aiding bowel movements quickly after a CS... thank you.

How do you handle a very active 4months old I can't do anything during the day at all. Cooking is difficult, baking I can't. I have an exam I'm preparing for and I can't study because she won't sleep during the day,wants constant attention and I end up being too tired to read at night. I don tire abeg

Same thing happened to my son since he resumed school, running nose and cough especially at night, we used all we can from septrin to different cough syrups, augmentin and the last was one piriton syrup that was sold to us for 1,800. the cough will go for 2 days and come back again, we blow nose tire. last week sunday, he started coughing again after finishing the piriton and was unable to sleep at night, he vomited like no tomorrow. I took him to the office that day, he coughed throughout. I really pity the boy, on my way home I branched a pharmacy and asked them to look for a cheaper cough syrup for me, (I planned buying the Zinnat the 3rd day) so I can use it to suppress the cough o pending when i will get the zinnat. They gave me one cough syrup for children for 250, I gave him immediately at the pharmacy, after 3hrs, i repeated it. To the Glory of God, He did wonder o, the cough stopped and the nose dried up. With prayer, I make sure he completed his dose. till now, no cough and he vomitted plenty phlegm and chest now clear.

Just sharing my testimony with u ni sis. God that perfect my son's health will surely do yours.

For best results, dose of antibiotics are calculated based on weight of the baby and not arbitrarily. It's given twice daily

Cough syrup dont work for kids cos they swallow the phlem.

for our own cough episode, i have just come to realise that its a sign for growth for her... but what helped us was changing our environment.
My lady coughs more at night and in my bedroom.
A doc made me realise its the Carpet(Rug) in d room, then the room not being ventilated enough. We had to use very light curtains and removed the rugs.
Then we we given an anti allergy drug too.... as i also have allergy and now we hardly have cough.

If all this is in place... please talk to ur doctor about antibiotics.
Then also reduce exposure to cold esp night bath..... if u must dont pour water on d head... or better still use a cloth to clean d body.

Lets know how far let other mamas put mouth too.

Well, the olden days, some part of the south, the child's father will take it to the elders of his clan and kolanut will be given to the father in return. This days, some just keep for just the sake of doing so I guess or maybe as some sort of trophy or they just don't know what to do with it.

We have finally graduated from breast sucking oo today will make it one week . I didn't feel any heaviness in my breast.. It is normal? Could it have messed up my mens cycle? Pls mamas help oo.

My baby is doing just fine no issues at all; I thank God for that oo because I was scared at first.

Just to add to what Enque said, I don't believe that FP makes people fat, at least not on it's own. Its our indiscipline with food (mostly due to breastfeeding) that makes us fat. I could have said it's FP that made me fat and gone to remove it but I decided to face the fat like a G and I've lost 9kg in 7 weeks, even with my FP in

Yes o, went to a primary health facility and met with the reproductive officer in charge of FP, explained to her and she gave me the pills as the solution. I really wanted a second opinion since I can't go back to where it was inserted due to my busy schedule.
