Queen

I was hanging clothes in the wardrobe when Roselyn burst into the room in tears.
"Rose?" I stopped looking at her.  She didn't look sorrowful, or saddened by anything just angry.

"Rose why are you crying?" I asked going towards her. "It's nothing, nothing you can help with anyway" she hissed and walked to the wardrobe.

I watched her perplexed, "What do you mean, Rose if anyone has offended you tell me.  Is it Princess, I know she can be so annoying" I crossed my arms. It had to be Princess.

"It's nothing, I'm leaving. I have urgent business in Lagos, I'll take a night bus" Roselyn sniffed wiping angry tears off her face.

"It has to be serious to get you this upset,  I don't like when you're upset" I frowned. She ignored me and began to take her clothes off the wardrobe.

"Fine,  I'm coming with you" I offered. She turned to me surprised.

"What about your sister's engagement party?" she asked. "Screw that" I replied. I came here in hopes that Sotonye would cancel and there'd be no wedding. Since that's not happening, I'd rather not wait around.

"No,  no...i want to be alone for now.  I'll be fine,  I'll call you when I get to Lagos." Roselyn brought out her bags and began to shove her clothes into her bag.

I don't understand the problem, had princess said anything to Roselyn? I was considering the odds when someone banged the door. Roselyn's eyes darted to the door immediately.

"Yes,  who is it?" I asked. "Your brother!" Alfred spoke.  He sounded angry, "Come in" I said shaking my head.

He looked angrier than he'd sounded "In haste to leave Roselyn, after what you have done?" He glared at Roselyn.

"What are you talking about?" I asked Alfred confused. "Come down and see for yourself" Alfred hissed. He walked to Roselyn, who had a blank expression on her face.

"You're coming too" He gritted out taking her arm and pulling her roughly out of the room. "what the hell is happening?" I shouted following both of them.

I found my answer in the living room, Princess was sitting on one of the chairs crying hysterically. I rolled my eyes in disgust, things she'd do for attention.

"What's going on?" I asked ignoring the bruises on Princess's face. Princess glared at me before turning to Roselyn.  "Look what your goons have done to me!" she screamed.

"What are you talking about, what goons?" Roselyn asked. "Don't play dumb, you sent some goons to torture Princess. Asking her to break up her engagement, simply because you want Sotonye for yourself" Alfred glared at Roselyn.

"What? No!  No! I did no such thing" Roselyn protested. "You're a liar! After beating her up they warned her. According to your orders,  I heard one of them tell the other to  call Miss Spades and inform her!" Princess screamed hysterically.

"I don't believe that Roselyn would do that, this is a set up" I protested.

"Shut up Queen!" Alfred and Princess shouted at the same time.  Vanessa placed  her hand on Alfred's shoulder.  "Honey calm down" She said soothingly.

"You will regret coming to Abuja" Alfred swore.  "Listen, I did no such thing. Why would I do that? Roselyn asked.

"To keep Sotonye for yourself, scheming Slüt!" Princess shouted.  "You could have hurt my baby!" She continued.

"Baby?" Roselyn echoed weakly.  I looked at Princess sharply.  "You're lying!" I spat.

"Shut up Queen!" Alfred said angrily. I glared at Princess harder. How does anyone even fall for her pretentious act?

I've fallen for it before but never again. "I'm sure you're mistaken, I know Roselyn and I trust her. I'm sure she didn't nothing like that" I said. If anyone is the liar and schemer, it's Roselyn.

Roselyn opened her mouth to defend herself again but whatever she was going to say was interrupted by the immediate entry of Sotonye and some uniformed men.

"Sotonye, Alfred. It hasn't gotten to this extent!" I protested again. "Princess tell them to stop it this instant" I said angrily.

"Arrest her!" Princess cried pointing to Roselyn. My heart clenched in anger at her drama. Roselyn had done nothing but she was going to suffer for it.

"It's okay Queen, I will go with these men" Roselyn said calmly. A cold mask was plastered on her face. She turned to Princess. "This matter will be investigated, God help the person who is responsible because they will regret it" She said looking at Princess pointedly.

"You're all bark but no bite" Princess hissed and went over to Sotonye. Who wrapped his arm around her and consoled her.

I turned to my friend "Don't worry Roselyn, I'll come get you as soon as I can" I promised as the officers cuffed her and took her away.

"I can't believe you all, Rose is innocent!" I yelled at them. "That's enough Queen, I'm disappointed. You would choose a stranger over your sister!" Alfred frowned.

"No I'm disappointed in you Alfred, you would believe this lying bïtch!" I scoffed disgusted.

"Enough Queen, can't you see your sister is hurt?" Sotonye asked.

I laughed harshly "And you Sotonye you're the bigger fool. Princess's lies will be the death of you. Tell me do you know she's your brother's ally. Tare is it? And she's been taking advantage of your amnesia ever since" I hissed at Princess.

Princess gasped wide-eyed, I ignored her expression. She'd gone to far today, framing up Rose and getting her arrested. That was the last straw, the camel's back is broken.

"And you Alfred, do you know why you got disowned years back? It's all Princess's doing. She somehow managed to get back on track when Tare Williams offered to pay the debts in exchange for a service.... monitoring and dating Sotonye Williams his brother. Your brother is planning a revenge for you and your fiancee knows all about it, she's also looking for your ex wife. Apparently that's the only thing that would calm Tare's anger!" I spat spilling all the dirty secrets.

"Tarila is dead!" Alfred spat, he looked so furious. At who exactly? "Vanessa, we're leaving" He said walking out of the living room. The ever elegant Vanessa followed quietly.

"Karma is coming for you P, trust me this is nothing! Oh and Sotonye, you might want to consider a pregnancy test." I said walking out of the living room. I'm leaving this bloody house too.
