Foreign Affairs › Re: Protests In Tehran After Iran Admits Shooting Down Plane by persius555(m): 8:44am On Jan 12, 2020
yeyeosoronga:
Iran is a country where you would hardly find other citizens there. It's not a tourist country and many nationals from the West know not to go there even for work related purposes.
They would definitely know any airline flying to and away from their airports will mostly be Iranians.
I belive it was a mistake. Not everyone can think rationally under pressure and stress, while some think better under pressure.
It reminds me of many police shootings of blacks in the US. Many of those shootings occurred due to the irrational fears of the officers for the blackman. They didnt allow their heads do the thinking, as statistics have told them more blacks are criminals and would carry a gun to shoot officers. They just react, only to find out the person shot was only trying to get his ID from the pocket and not a gun as they thought.
That's not true. Iran is friendly to outsiders so long as you habor no intention to sabotage or spy on its government and people.
Iran has a lot of UNESCO cultural sites that tourists from all over the world visit.
There are over 2 million Iranian-Americans living in America and some of them shuttle between the two countries regularly.
The Iranian government does business with lots of European countries.
If not for the Iranian revolutions that brought those religious fanatics into power, the Iranian society and it's citizens are pretty liberal compared to others in the region.
Iranians are majority Persian by language and tribe(60%) while the Kurds, Turks, Uzbeks, Afghanistan, Armenia make up the rest.
In fact, in the middle East, they are known to prosper in commerce and industry.
Some of the most brilliant tech entrepreneur in the US are of Iranian heritage.

The Ukrainian plane crash in Iran may be part of Iranian response.
Let's hope it is not what we are thinking. If it is, then this would be the most foolish move ever.
Foreign Affairs › Re: US Airbase In Iraq Hit By Rockets by persius555(m): 6:30am On Jan 08, 2020
Japan is already spearheading the intervention campaign. But the Iranians are already threatening all US allies in the Middle East with annahilation. This is what pisses off every other country in the gulf region.
They understand that the Iranians share a diverse religious belief from them.
An overbearing posture that the Iranian continue to maintain is what pisses the others. This present Iranian government would need to tone down. It doesn't even have 100% backing from its people.
All the incursions and interference it has been carrying out in the region hasn't been going down well with its citizens.
The ordinary Iranians would rather have a prosperous and flourishing economy in exchange for this over half a century war mongering that has brought nothing but hardship and suffering.
The saving grace is that the overzealous brat in Washington pulled the trigger first.
The Iranians themselves have committed the same violation as the United States by violating the sovereignty of the Iraqi state.
Foreign Affairs › Re: US Airbase In Iraq Hit By Rockets by persius555(m): 5:48am On Jan 08, 2020
If both countries have a go at each other, casualty will be high on the Iranians and any US ally in the middle East.
The aftermath is most likely that the Iranian economy will experience a high degree setback (which is what the Saudis and other enemies of Iran want).

I don't see the face off lasting beyond a week. Other global powers will definitely intervene.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Macron Urges Iran To Avoid ‘escalation’, Voices ‘solidarity’ With US by persius555(m): 8:17am On Jan 06, 2020
It's simple. EU, China, Russia and America are not comfortable with Iran's overwhelming influence in the entire middle East.
From Lebanon, Syria, Palestine,Yemen to Iraq, they seem to have the ultimate agenda to call the shots as far as the middle East is concerned.
All the countries mentioned above bear a bit of resentment for power shift in any Islamic nation. No Islamic super power really has a 100% backing from those countries(super powers).
Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Turkey all know this. I'll give it to the Iranians.
Of all countries in the middle East, they seem to be the only one commited to ridding Islamic of its bloodthirsty ideologies but the global politics that has emerged in the last 40-50years has not been favourable to it.

The tarriff keeps going up without a corresponding increase in power generation. This is an all time scam to squeeze as much from the citizenery without investing a dime in generating capacity.
They should tell us how much they have invested in expansion if any.

All through the ordeal, there was constant communication via mobile phone and the police did nothing to plot the geo-cordinate of their movements.

It's amazing that even when these kidnapers use public infrastructure that is within the reach of the security, they couldn't put two and two together to apprehend these criminals.

Very disheartening

This installation is unique as cables had to be hidden, as in as stealthy as possible without the eyesore of trunks all over without having to destroy office walls in already existing structure.

Quite an effort. We deliver as client requests.

He is already an asset. Why let him waste. We should learn from our past mistakes.
