Height of hypocrisy.

Since 2015 that they came into power, all they havve been doing is to warn us of harsh times ahead while they plunder the nations wealth. Useless and incompetent government. This is the kind of government nigerians deserve.

Very true. A lot of the players who featured that year had to part with 250,000 naira at the camp in ibadan. We didnt field the best but we won the tournament and today that generation of players have vanished.

What corruption has done to this country cannot be imagined

It's high time NATO come to the realization of what they did in Libya was a total mess-up not a clean-up. MANPADS everywhere angry, if these sophisticated weapons should find there way into countries like Mali and Chad, then the Nigerian Military is in deep shit !
Only a fool will think Boko Haram is not seriously searching for funds to get their hands on these manpads. Reason why paying ransoms isnt an option at this moment. Painful as it may seem.
Politics › Re: The Silent War Between Oshiomhole And Obaseki by persius555(m): 5:08pm On Apr 28, 2019
Edo has always proven to be the political grave for godfatherism in recent times. Edo is not Lagos. The worse that can happen is for Obaseki, Oshiomole and APC to lose the state.
Once beaten twice shy.

BH are probably running out of arms and have approached their usual customers for more arms.
Holding territory for long will do them no good. Now that their armoury is replenished, the question is where are they going to strike next.

They could as well attack the neighboring countries or another military outpost. One would think by now the military air force would have perfected their strategy on how to react in the quickest possible time.

Ten year war is a long time to learn on the job. Soldiers recruited and fighting in the northeast would have attained the rank of a sergeant by now.

Damn, have we learnt anything? BH is

N the mumu police leaked out these detailshuh

1. The man's family is as good as dead
2. The kidnappers would all find new hideouts
3. The police will end up looking like fôols.
4. And the spate of violence will continue!
The Acting IG needs to keep his job. Damn the spiritual leader and his crooked prayers. The Inaction or Actions of the Nigeria Police Force is the cradle of national crisis in the country. Problems they should have solved at the tender stage are left to fetter until the entire nation, including their own personnels are sacrificed unnecessarily.

Boko Haram, Militancy, Militia, Fulani Herdsmen, all these crises overbreeds because the nigerian police force dont understand what policing is. All they understand is force.

See how terrible a road that leads to a $70million project looks like. Lagos and poor standard. Always settling for less
I see this project on a daily basis. The surrounding environment is worse than eyesore.
Very filthy and smelly. To clean the environment up will cost less than a million dollar but they rather dump all the money in the project.
A typical reasoning of an average Nigerian
Politics › Re: Any Account For Zamfara Gold? by persius555(m): 7:27pm On Apr 07, 2019
I onced worked in the precious mineral mining industry. Right from the illegal artisanal miner to the mining officials in the ministries, one thing is common and rife, greed and secrecy thrives.
I'm not surprised the killing is difficult to stop.
So long as FG can't put in place a policy to encourage foreign mining investors come in, the sector will remain in the hands of criminal smugglers and gangsters.
Note also, there are large number of neighboring west Africans heavily involved in illegal gold mining. The immigration officers are not doing a proper job

This is the result of what poverty has done to the psyche of an average Nigerian. I can guarantee many of those scooping the fuel have up to 20,000 naira on them or in a safe keeping.

Why would you risk your life over a venture that cant fetch you 5,000 naira. Poverty of the mind.

Such can never happen in any other parts of the country. Therefore, Yorubas should sumnon courage and say NO to Tinubucracy in Lagos by voting out APC today

I like the ring to it - war of the drones. I believe that as drones becomes more sophisticated and available, they would play an increasing important role in war. I forsee an army of small drones with all sorts of weapons, guns, bombs, etc, attacking enemy territory and soldiers.
Swarm technology is already been considered for future warfare. They could actuality be deployed for border patrol as well. AI/Drone combo is a killer combo
Foreign Affairs › Re: Cheap Drone That Can Render Trump's $6 Billion Wall Useless by persius555(m): 5:37pm On Mar 08, 2019
wirinet:
The wall will be useless. It's too long. It will take enormous cost and man power to police a 2000 mile long wall.

It will be difficult to for technology to identify a small flying object made of non metal (radars signals reflect only metals), flying at almost tree level for a few minutes.
The wall will serve its immediate purpose which is to prevent massive movement of aliens across the Mexico-US border. As for the drones which would most likely be positioned anywhere close to the walls, the united states will go after them from the Mexico side of the wall. Drones would be deployed to pick out the positioning of these human carrying drones.
I see a war of drones brewing after the walls are erected.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Cheap Drone That Can Render Trump's $6 Billion Wall Useless by persius555(m): 4:54pm On Mar 08, 2019
The United States will eventually have to invest more in human intelligence and skill which will eventually skyrocket the price it will pay to make the wall relevant. I see human traffickers investing heavily in these machines. But trust the US to counter this technology.
