With most states having mere puppets in their State Assembly, the governors will simply loot these monies without questions asked. These are the same people who will benefit from restructuring. |
Is this worth the people of kogi deserve? |
Libyans wanted freedom. The western gave them freedom in exchange for their peace and wealth. |
Is CABAL the fourth arm of the government? |
bidexiii:Let's talk local industry later. We need to send those unrepentant rodents to hell real fast, then we will talk local industry. |
Any religion that encourages sexual abuse of women deserves to be spit on. Insecure men find excuses to justify their weakness. |
mathel:This is what I expect every Nigerian youth to do. Stand up and speak out on behalf of others when you should. Half baked policies and implementation is what keeps us in the dark. It has become habitual for every govt to shortchange the citizens at any slightest opportunity. Those in authorities take us for granted because they know we easily settle for less. The widespread irregularities going on in this scheme must be looked into. |
akandi4u:Would you commend this adminstration if for reasons beyond you, your stipends are not paid but the govt goes ahead and claim you have being paid? I can imagine what your answer is. This why the country has been all drama and no motion. Instead of coming out to condemn acts of corruption going on in our system, we carry on because we are not affected. It's others turn today, it might be yours tomorrow. They say change begins with you. Let's practice what we preach. |
This is what happens when you have leaders who lack vision and are not in tune with economic realities. You fail in your own responsibility to provide the social amenities and infrasructure for a thriving sector, only to turn around to destroy or hamper others effort. Another counter productive move by a minister who has no clue. The same way the VP claimed Npower is not owing participants their salary when thousands have laid complaints even on social media. |
Op, you need to watch the two seasons of Mr Robot if you haven't. Only Who am I comes close in terms of real life hacking scenes. Black Hat is a disappointment. Chris Hemsworth shouldn't have taken that role. You can't summarize the day to day of an hacker in a movie. Mr Robot 3 starts in October. |
Osibanjo is your typical executive who doesn't bother to ask questions but would rather carry on with business, pretending all is well. This denial is an affirmation to the fact that monies meant for this scheme are being diverted with the knowledge of the executive. Very disappointing from a Vice President. |
igbsam:If only Nigerians know their true enemies. Both Obasanjo and Edwin Clarke are the real enemies of Nigeria. They know what's best for the country but chose to do otherwise when they found themselves in power, all for selfish reasons. Many of these people have investments abroad that they attend to. Nigeria is just a means to an end for them. Who is fooling who. I pity Nigerian youths who continue to fall for this gimmick. |
It simply means "Everyone is welcome". No restrictions. Na market strategy. |
The ineptitude of Nigeria Police Force is a huge burden. They have no regard for the law and human right. This will only send wrong message to the citizenery. Is it a sin to be your brother's keeper. |
Nigeria will be better if and only if the SE and SW work together. For now, what we see is senseless political rivalry hinged on envy and pettiness from both divides. This is exactly what these northerners have taken advantage of. |
Having a static IP is like telling the whole world where you live. Good for certain scenarios but absolute zero anonymity. |
Political Suicide. All they are saying is, "Why are the Yoruba's not calling Fayose and FFK to order"? Arewa idiots, if you are not comfortable with freedom of speech then ship yourselves to Saudi Arabia. |
Must they bring their Cat and Mouse game to the tech scene. Russian and American tech enthusiasts collaborate on all fronts in the cyberspace. I hate it when governments think they can draw borderlines in tech space. Just few days ago, the two bubble heads were smiling and shaking hands. Today, they are throwing stones at each other. |
ArcFresky:Majority have nothing meaningful to contribute so they start tribal rant at any slightest instance. A lot of brilliant Nairalanders avoid such threads so much you would think front page is for mentally retarded people. Very sickening. If these brillant Nigerian inventors reasoned the way tribal commentators reason, I doubt if there would be anything to comment about. |
There are over a 200,000 traders/hawkersn Lagos and over a million okada riders and Danfo commercial drivers. All of these people pay one form of levey to LGAs or state bodies. The only proof of payment they get in return is a piece of ticket that could as well be fake. Are these set of people also included in the number of tax payers. If they are not, why are they not included since they contribute more than a 500 naira daila to LASG. Tax receipts must be issued to these set of people too. |
A case of locally fabricated AK-47 vs Chinese knockout AK-47. The difference is obvious but the robbers died of overconfidence and ignorance. |
Wike and Fayose are the biggest threat to PDP. Those two must be closely checked. Very ambitious set of politicians. They got the PDP into this mess the first place. Now we have opposition in place. Let's watch and see how this plays out. |
Undoubtedly, the most reliable network in Nigeria. Etisalat Nigeria must not be allowed to die like that or be acquired by a $hitty network like GLO. |
numericalguy:This is not about Dino Melaye. It is about our ailing democracy that these lawmakers have taking for granted. If we had made use of this channel since 1999, we wouldn't be in this mess we have found ourselves. Gradually, we would summon vote and courage to withdraw every senator that puts his political ambition and interest before that of the citizens. |
We, the citizens are helpless. Our twitter senator will achieve more if he sends more of these tweets to his fellow criminals in the National Assembly. |
Nigerian politicians ideally are not commited or attached to any party or ideology. Whatever serves their interest is their party. |
Broadband Internet is still prohibitive and scarcely available in Nigeria. The telcos are swallowing more than they can chew, with very limited infrastructure investment. |
Sleyanya1:That Nwakpe guy has been eaten up by deep hatred. He has become less of a human and doesn't realise it. |
Finally, Nigerians have woken up. This is a blessing in disguise For those of you who are not from kwara but are staunch supporters of the illegality and mediocrity going on in the National Assembly, headed by a colossal misfortune like saraki, woe unto you all. |
Tell this to Trump. What you get when you allow Eggheads and Starwars fan to rule your tech sector. Many of these guys live in the future rather than reality. |
Nigerians will be jokers if any of the present senators are reelected. Bunch of anarchist and political robbers. |
This is what you get when you have a failed police system. |
