It is well known that Ojukwu stopped the coup in the North while Ironsi and Alexander Madiebo stopped the coup in the South. In Biafra the group of the 1966 coup wanted to remove Ojukwu, go back to Nigeria and then complete the coup of January 1966. That was the coup against Ojukwu in Biafra.
Those who want to make analysis must get the facts right unless they are mischievous.

The Niger Delta is comprised of mostly all of the states in the South South oil rich region. Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River. Edo is south south but not Niger Delta. Bayelsa and Delta are the core of the Niger Delta.
