Politics › Re: Supporting Nigeria Against Biafra Was Our Greatest Mistake — Asari Dokubo by phantom(m): 7:17am On May 04, 2013
confusion247: Rise above hatred. Today, are you in the majority with the northerners? How many times have you had any issue with the south east people? How many of your people have the people of south east killed as northerners are doing? Who and who owns the oil well in your back yard? How many houses does northerners have in your south south? Give yourself a genuine reason for your hatred on the Igbos. Ojukwu had dictatorial tendencies because he is a soldier, same goes with Obasanjo and any military man in power. What have you gained from Nigeria after supporting them and making yourself a slave and a beggar? The oil in your back yard was used to develop north, while you stay in your polluted land and beg for 50% resource control. I challenge you to mention three ways Ojukwu used to enslave the people of south south. Just look at abuja and tell me that the money that developed abuja came from groundnut and sugar cane. Are you not ashamed that after supporting Nigeria you have nothing to show for it. The earlier you reason like a human the better for you.

I hope you still understand English, you said fashola had nothing to do save for beautification, see your exact words
"paint and flower work" and i used the suspension bridge to ask you if that falls under your paint and flower work too, pay attention before you type

if you know nothing about what is going on in the river rine communities then shut up so that people that know will contribute, saying the state is big and the river rine has to be catered for, while im sure he is doing absolutely nothing is an insult

You really seem to be caught up in this 15km stretch crap.. WHERE DO YOU PLACE A 15KM STRETCH OF ROAD INSIDE PORT-HARCOURT?! He can only work with what he has. Rumuokwuta - Uniport isnt even up to 15km. What you have is what you work with. Ada George road, through NTA road - East/west road - Airport.. Maybe suming them up might give you 15km.. My point here sir is that the old roads are being redone and being expanded. Yes, they may not be 15 km in lenght (with teh exception of Airforce - Omerelu (which you have convieniently ignored), but they are many and of good and better quality than what we use to have..

so you admit he is surfacing and expanding short roads, is that why you are blowing his trumpet? roads that can pass for a street in sane climes??

practice better hygiene without a source of clean water? please rationalize hygiene without clean water?
you have pressing issues like mono rail where the state was indebted to the tune of 200billion with 18 pillars to show for it?? like you care indeed.
okija, choose between constructing a water treatment plant in the face of cholera outbreak and a farce mono rail project?
let me even test your own common sense before blaming Amaechi

So you admit that gen. Amaechi embarked on school beautification without teachers, i dey laugh!!

Yea Lagos state government created the enabling environment for the FG to actualize it, Lagos state may have produced senators and representatives that may have lobbied for it, just like when they lobbied for the repairs of the third mainland bridge.
what has your Amaechi and his senators lobbied for in Rivers state?? all the PDP senators are all loyal to Amaechi, what federal development have they attracted to the state? please kindly skip east west road.

dedicated lanes with yellow lines?? i dey laugh, you just need a trip out of that bush city you live, i don't mind footing the bills gosh!!

the fact that Rivers state has been in darkness doesn't mean that a loser like Amaechi is light.
failure has no two parts, its either you did it great or you didnt at all, there is no go between.

#yawns#

sentiments at its best, every failure has a good reason, nobody is comparing lagos state with Rivers, perhaps you need to read back a little,
you think lagos is not multi tribal? i dey laugh!
you think lagos doesn't have swamps and march soil? i dey laugh,

you want us to take up another case study?? very well then,

Rivers vs Akwaibom
okija...take my advice..debating with this guy na just waste of time.you would have a more fulfilling time with arguing with a 'newt'...qed.lagos is heaven but on my way to ijanikin the other day i could count not less than ten people sh.itting in nylon bags and my uncle who i stayed with at ago had water stored in containers.lol.

You keep talking of water and cholera. If you were smart you would also acknowledge the fact that the niger delta including rivers state should have the highest incidence of water borne diseases BECAUSE OF OIL POLLUTION.you talk of exam scores at secondary school level, please can you tell us what the national average is? No offence but you try to sound intelligent when in actual fact your are probably lighter than my toilet tissue.

jp philips: yea because you grew up in a village doesn't mean that Amaechi is a standard in Governance, i think im lucky to have been born elsewhere perhaps that is why i see things differently.

if you want to know, take a trip!!!!
my friend stop acting condescending.i think most posters here have extended nothing but civility to you but you insist on being a major a.hole.okija has given you points to debate properly but you are busy groping at straws.i was in lagos not to long ago and my conclusion is fashola don try but the place reminds me of a mad woman whos been attended to by a very good cosmetologist.
I dey feel you!!

But lets be real, Monorail no be beans. THe cost involved to achieve a long one would be insanity. A large part of the money went on compensation alone (which was a scam because I know one of the government valuers wey hammer ontop that deal). The plan is to go from Obigbo to Borokiri by Monorail.. But that thing go tey well well!! The cost of compensation alone might never allow that thing come through. My only issue is that he should have used like from Shell - Airforce for the pilot programme so that people will get to see how impportant and easy it is and will clamour for it to be extended. I understand you absolutely, but this is what we are faced with, Compensation woes. The past governments didnt make room for future developments.
okija that was an ill advised project.he thought it up just few months into his tenure, now reality don set in...lol.

Gbawe: Is this now what you base your past utterance on entirely i.e affordability? You see how you continue to disgrace yourself as an animal of unbridled hatred? You will only dig yourself deeper into the hole you opened up with your deceit if you continue to talk here. Originally you focused on lies about the looks of the Estate in comparison to what obtained in the past:

When I then punctured your claim with facts (poor aesthetic of Jakande Estate for example) and pictures of Games Village, you switched tactics to now begin talking about affordability about year 1806 compared to year 2013 !!! You are such a dishonest clown that I pity anyone who may be associated with you in reality. You possibly cannot be a good person since you lack basic integrity and decency. To boot, you lie shamelessly and change positions more than even the most keen prost1tute would.
aargh! Easy o! That one na uppercut o! The 'changing positions' part i mean. lol.

Gbawe: Who told you I don't? The other thing is that I have never being a quitter. No one will intimidate me here and I never told you that everything about Nairaland is bad. My point , concerning the other Nigerian forums, is that this place can become better if we all make a consistent effort to call out mischief-makers and slime-balls here.
noted, sir!

jp philips: After "Mekaying" then you go and take a course in basic geology, Rivers soil is terrible yet Akwaibom has good roads miracle?? what is the difference between Rivers and Akwaibom soil samples??

those are lies that thief thief Govt tell their wards, even with the Good soil of Aba in Abia state, Did it guarantee that thiefodore orji constructed a single road?

my only anger here is that an average servicing company in PH pays as much as 11million naira annually on state taxes yet people praise amaechi for Okporo road?

guys i am not stup!d, and Amaechi cannot take me for one. the man has made a mess of his second comming, he doesn't deserve another shot in politics
you seem to bitter about 'something' .
Politics › Re: Embattled Lagos Speaker To Probe Fashola by phantom(m): 2:46pm On Apr 25, 2013
Gbawe: Don't mind these thick-skulled cretins. They are all gutter garbage and brats who want the freedom to offend others while all nairalanders either urge them on or just look on with not many having the balls to take these vile creatures on. I have been a member of other Nigerian chat forums and bigots know their place because it is not cool to flaunt prejudice openly on those forums.

Here, not only are bigot celebrated and egged on but they are even emboldened to turn around and accuse those who call them out, for prejudice, of bigotry. Bottom line is that if more people took on the bigots bravely then they will leave this forum.

The other thing is that many here are cowardly and few are fair-minded enough to stand up for what is right. Like you conclude, I am passionate about what I believe in but that never leads me to lie against anyone or hate others blindly. Even inspecting the whole Politics thing, I want anyone to show where like others who can be deemed "passionate" about what they discuss where I have ever shown blanket hatred or deployed mischief and/or character assassination against non-ACN administrators who are performing and delivering for their electorate. Folks should show where I have ever mocked the effort of Chime, Akpabio, Amaechi, Mimiko or anyone adjudged an effective administrator by their own people.

Meanwhile, shall I expose the behaviour of the despicable characters I get wrongly compared to here like Insecure9gerina, Beaf, Lostpope, Anonimi, this Globe character and other nauseating wasters?

These people, not a single one, can ever say anything decent about any ACN Governor. Fashola , accredited to be performing and exemplary even beyond Nigeria, is their number one enemy to pull down and malign with lies. Ditto Amosun, Fayemi, Ajimobi, Aregbesola et al.

Meanwhile inspect my comments here. Chime opens a mall, I am clapping. Akpabio's infrastructural effort, I salute the dude. Mimiko, I conceded here, before the election, he deserved re-election if his people are happy with him and he is delivering for them. Okoroachas effort, I wish him gods speed. Amaechi I am his cross-Party fan. One pattern is emerging. I genuinely back performers, wherever they are from, delivering for their people. That is the truth my previous post here support. Now anyone is free to inspect the previous post of others to see irritating and unbridled hatred motivated by the sort of partisanship I cannot be accused of. Even GEJ would get my support if he made a genuine effort considering the fundamental problems of the nation.

We all remeber that slimy b*stard Beaf making awful and false insinuation about Aregbesola's health. Is there even one post here where I have commented negatively on Sullivan Chime's health? I would not do that because he is a good man and partisanship should not ever make one indecent like Beaf, Incecure9gerian et al.

Look at Anonimi for example. Inspect his past 50 posts and it is senseless, hate-filled tirades against the ACN. A governor delivers a first-of-its kind bring that will bring traffic succour for end users and that character will be the only one there foaming at the mouth negatively. It would be interesting if anyone can show me doing same. Is it me who started a thread titled "searching for one project of Amaechi/Chime/Akpabio/Mimiko" as Insincere9gerian did regarding Fashola?

At end of the day, issues just boils down to how not many are critically intelligent here. If they were they would know, as you correctly discerned, that being passionate about one thing (ACN or even my ethnic group) does not translate into hatred or intolerance for others as is the case with the real bigots here.
err oga....dont you think you might be better of hanging out at those other forums you mentioned? Just saying. **quickly takes off as he sees gbawe free ekoile from his chains**

kutchs: ACN‘s supporters are so hypocrital you could see it written all over their posts. Some say the news is not only comical but internet pollution, some say it‘s baseless and yet others describe it as crap.
The question is why? And the answer is because it is ACN and not PDP.

jp philips: people are talking real places and your showing advert pics, are you sure you can recognize those places you put up there.

one of them you showed is hotel presidential, personally, i wont chose to sleep there a night even at gun point, thanks to the lebanese (panya) managing it.

you need to move round a little my brother, ph is a standard village still living in denial.

the only city where ogogoro tested boys block a major road with impunity, where company vehicles are pursued like a cock in heat.

who mentioned old Gra? forces avenue is not motorable as we speak, i swam through it yesterday. what about that holy roasry area? the gully in that area can swallow amaechi and his entourage comfortably.
where else in old gra? that slum cannot even be compared to transekulu or independence layout (govt house area)

let me not mention ikeja or any place on the island so that people that are widely travelled will not curse me to death.

ph garden city?? i dey laugh.
did you just mention transekulu in enugu? Lol...lets put it this way...if we had to move 'PH' to ' enugu' , the latter would sink in a month..hope you get my drift? That leaves lagos.what percentage of lagos is ikeja and the island?find out and get back to me.

eko ilee: Ode. You need power and uninterrupted power supply to pump out water non stop. No power, no water.

The blame for your water nonsense still belongs to your federal government...
interesting...so the people that built the water project couldnt build power plants to supply power to the water pumps...funny people! Blame your own inefficiencies on the federal govt.very convenient.you spend billions to build water projects but conveniently forget to power it...clowns!
