ACM10: In your twisted mind, it is fair to give Nobel peace prize to someone who was prosecuting an unprovoked war? In that case, Yoruba should posthumously confer Abacha with the title of the 'Protector of Odualand'. Bros, you are a disgrace! Only bigoted folks like you are yet to observe that Nobel prize is political award.
my bro dont waste your time down 'that road'......it leads no where wink wink wink grin
Politics › Re: Wole Soyinka's Interview About Chinua Achebe by phantom(m): 5:33pm On May 19, 2013
all4naija: Nonsense! Stop showing me that deceitful face and start to express yourself here.
why all the fuss?why should i kill myself here when the rest of the world (minus one tribe of course)share my opininion.
(if in doubt about the part in bold, ask google! wink grin)
Politics › Re: Wole Soyinka's Interview About Chinua Achebe by phantom(m): 5:25pm On May 19, 2013
IMHO the world has passed its verdict on chinua(ask google if you doubt it) and theres nothing anybody can do about it.with the way the world mourned achebe, the nobel prize should be begging for achebe but awarding it to him now posthumuosly would be an insult because lets face it WHICH AWARD OR PRIZE IS GREATER THAN THAT WHICH THE WORLD LAYS AT YOUR FEEThuh that is uncle woles issue and frankly i wouldnt blame him if he was a lil jealous.... wink wink
Politics › Re: Wole Soyinka's Interview About Chinua Achebe by phantom(m): 5:08pm On May 19, 2013
all4naija: What an irrelevant response without defending your claim. You are going about me than arguing based on your opinions. It is clear you are the silly person here.
dude like seriously, you ve not given me nothing to argue about!you might want to give katsumoto a ring(if you know what i mean wink wink)

Politics › Re: Wole Soyinka's Interview About Chinua Achebe by phantom(m): 4:16pm On May 19, 2013
bestview: You misunderstood phantom. He actually meant that the entire media was awash with Achebe being the Father of Modern African Literature until soyika came with his personal confusion and vendatta. grin

But he, soyika cannot change the title given to Achebe by the world. grin
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Politics › Re: Wole Soyinka's Interview About Chinua Achebe by phantom(m): 4:14pm On May 19, 2013
all4naija: Is it not the single statement he made once that was replicated by different news media online? You are very myopic my friend.
my friend you are the one being shallow......my point is that out of all the google results, the only one saying 'achebe is NOT the father of african literature' is from wole.do you get it now or do i have to draw pictureshuh undecided undecided
Politics › Re: Wole Soyinka's Interview About Chinua Achebe by phantom(m): 3:43pm On May 19, 2013
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin....funny enough i just googled 'father of african literature' and i laughed my butt off at the results from page 1 inwards.there was just one dissenting voice......guess who?? grin grin grin grin.

Politics › Re: 35 Killed In Raid On Boko-Haram Hideout by phantom(m): 12:53pm On May 18, 2013
shymexx: I know I'm a little bit eccentric and unorthodox compared to the way most of you do things on here. But they can't just go around maiming innocent civilians with crude military tactics and expect an unwinnable war to become winnable. The more civilians you kill, the higher the willing tools for recruitment into BH army.

The real BH members are already ghost, at the moment - chilling somewhere in the Sahara. You lot are just killing civilians.

Using surface to air guns and missiles is just barbaric and savagely around civilian population. Most of you are smiling now, but don't cry when these civilians start suicide-bombing your homes in Southern Nigeria, when the "blowback" kicks off. undecided
thats not your business the way we do things in OUR country!face your country.the recession should be your headache, not a military onslaught in someone elses country.

I would have prefer you balance thing up by bringing in a woman....Berem for example. Someone that is part of this section and not one that will start to learn how this section operates.

Rossikk: Illiterate dunce, it is not possible right now to ''provide uninterrupted power for just one year'', because the nation needs at least 20,000 mw to achieve full coverage. THAT takes YEARS of investment to achieve, and even if you or your father were in charge of Nigeria, you could NEVER produce 24/7 power in Nigeria in the magical fashion you demand from the president. The power roadmap which I'm sure you've never set eyes on in your life, is there to show you when and how we expect to reach full supply. It will NOT happen overnight. The reasons for that relate inter alia to years of underinvestment in the sector by preceding regimes especially the military regimes of the past.
why you dey bother yourself? That was why i said most forumites here no dey intelligent.someone who expects the president to fix power in one year is either a child, deranged, drunk or all 3.

Politics › Re: Lagos To Support Increasing Population With Fibre-Optic Cables. by phantom(m): 3:00pm On May 13, 2013
yeboyes: I know fibre is faster ,i am just trying to confirm if Lagos has ADSL. If Lagos does have direct ADSL ,i will like to know which ADSL vendors offer the service as i have searched the internet and can't find one who does. There is a difference between having fibre optic to power GSM tower and having fibre optic directly connected to your land line.I use ADSL 24 7 in my country of residence and average 15MB per second so i am looking any service provider in Nigeria who can match that speed
you r asking the wrong person.give him sometime to read up something on wikipedia and come up with a super intelligent answer for you...lol.

Politics › Re: Jonathan Plans Shipyard To Boost Maritime Sector by phantom(m): 8:35am On May 13, 2013
BabaAlabi: Rubbish. Nigeria is doomed if no president can deliver stable power during a short time. All it takes is strategic planning, hardwork and dedication not stup.id incorrect power maps. Also is it a president who supports corruption that you will vote for? Nigerians should do away with this backward type of reasoning.
obj was thinking exactly like you when he sank 16Billion dollars into power.we all know how that turned out.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Plans Shipyard To Boost Maritime Sector by phantom(m): 8:26am On May 13, 2013
Every few months the deadline for electricity generation reaching adequate values is pushed back, either the effort is not enough or the time spent on those efforts is not enough, in either case the solution is to dedicate more of whatever is lacking to electricity instead our president turns around and opens another avenue for spending resources so what I would do differently is to not open other avenues but instead spend time on the projects I already have running, is that better?
lol....If you think 'spending' is the problem, then you dont know jack about the the power problem in this country.
