CFCfan: Yeah. And come to think of it, at least 80% of Nigerians know how to use a computer/mobile phone; so e-voting shouldn't be too difficult.exactly! It might not be as difficult as we think |
Sulemanmathew: Electronic voting in a country like Nigeria is nt reliable at all.it can b manipulated easily compared to d ballot type. Most people in rural areas myt find it difficult to use d voting machine/device due to dere low level of ICT exposure. Electronic voting without adequate power supply to me kan also giv room for inaccuracy in election results. I don't support it frm my own perspective.remember that many of those rural people know how to use atms.lets start it.the pros will far outweigh the cons in the long run. |
alienware: so u dont generate power b4 transmission ?stop embarrassing yourself pls. |
Rossikk: That's another thing you need to get off of-this idea that Nigeria has all this massive wealth that would have turned all Africa into paradise "if only". Nigeria's oil reserves are only as large as Kuwait's. Kuwait has 2 million mouths to feed. Nigeria 170 million. So where is this great massive wealth? It is not as if we have truck loads of gold, copper and diamonds just waiting to be harnessed. The nation needs time to diversify its economy and develop itself.you r wasting your time with this dude.he constantly puts down nigeria to feel good about himself cos lets face it,hes still seen as a slave in the UK even though he was probably born there. |
I have been defending Abuja against that shymmex. As for Lagos no hope. Isn't that why they relocated the capital in the first place? The only saving grace may come in the form of an ocean surge to flush the huge pile of sh1t away. And by the way I am here in Abuja. I suppose to finish a report and submit by Tuesday morning and I ended up spending most of the night arguing back and forth here and browsing sesi chics.
lol...i swear lagos really needs to be flushed away.that place is not impressive at all.tbh abuja is the ish.if i have to move its abj for sure.calm. |

shymexx: Lagos definitely has some nice skyscrapers- but Abuja is just so dull and lacklustre for a capital city!!it beats me how people cant tell the difference between a skyscraper and a highrise.the tallest building in lagos is 33F if i'm not mistaken........thats a highrise!a skyscraper;200-299m/650-999ft tall,highrises;100-199m/300-649ft tall. |
if this happens,2015 will be 'bloody'interesting! ![]() |
COMPAQ: Lagos obviously!! I see a number of references to port Harcourt in the thread, and don't understand why. To me ph is a big disappointment. I was looking forward to moving here in 2006,but was very disappointed and so are many colleagues that moved at the same time so it's not about just me. We were all expecting much more. Ph has no proper middle class residential layout, no recreational facilities, no roads other than the few amaechi just dualised, no mall, no cultural events etc. The only thing to do here to go to eatery, drink and chase lousy chicks. Even the whole noise about ph girls has been proven be overated and once again, not by just me, but all my friends think so too!you r a learner....you are yet to realise why PH is the MOST CODED CITY IN NIGERIA! you jus dey come......ask question make we direct you... ![]() |
definitely jesse jagz pouring the fuel. |
Most def lagos then PH. |
bloggernaija: A big pile of poop that is devoid of any reasoning or analysis. Why do I have to travel a distance of 100km by air from Lagos to Ibadan . Why would anyone think a 2hr journey from Ibadan to akure is best undertaken by air .especially with the chaotic and disorganised nature of the aviation sector.happy to say that a wise man will avoid taking any of those flying coffin. Also ,many of those using the airports are executives from the southwest and expatriate going on inspection visits.also bare in mind that any journey by road beyond Benin is like an Hail Mary pass.the Lagos airport is ok for southwest. The Ibadan airport can cater for osun ,kwara and oyo.airports come a dollar a dime. Air transport is nothing different from other forms of transportation . Having flown around Europe and America via regional airlines easyjet ,Thomson ,delta, wizzair etc ,I can safely say that the glamour which used to be attached to the air has gone. The stress involved using this form of transportation makes it the one I dread most.i prefer train ,coach and road in that order.it is only in Naija where air travel is regarded as a status symbol.your well respected OPINION! |
benin-ore

automaticcarzz: There is nothing that proves it is indeed Benin-Ore Road. I know people who ply that road everyday and it is one complain after another. Jonathan still have time to convince the masses that it is still Jonathan who promised "Fresh Air". I will be happy he deleivers, but I doubt it. If he does deliever, I will campaign for him. I don't live in Nigeria, but I canvassed for Jonathan from abroad during the election. My whole family and many friends voted for him.you want proof that thats benin -ore are you for real i took these on my way back from ibadan 2 weeks back from inside the bus.....

one of the very very goood journalists out there....RIP sir |
lagerwhenindoubt: We all take things so unseriously.. Cult/Gangs have followed through on the streets and homes of heavily populated areas of Lagos from Eba, Shomolu, Mushin, Obalende, Egbeda, Agege etc.. , Eiye confratenity have become notorious for growing initiates outside tetiary institutions.. they have sprouted strong gangs from Primary to Secondary Schools and to illiterate youths in ghettos. They brandish they association openly and kill each other with no recourse to justice. a lot of the Police Barracks have young children engage in Cultism/Gang warfare..its the same thing down here in ph.its like a virus.driving down the neighbourhood and greeting the wrong people can get you marked.pity! |
Anambra, Imo, Delta and Abia just stay repping. JAMB statistics keep proving this; literacy rates keep proving this, and international acheivements keep proving this. Yet, some people find it a bitter pill to swallow, the fact that the most intelligent Nigerians are in the SE/SS. Repeatedly, they try to manufacture lies they can sing to themselves so as to help them sleep better at night. But even that has become increasingly difficult for their fragile hearts ![]() No amount of crayon professors can change the truth.
coulda sworn i had a sugary taste in mouth as i read this post. |
asha 80: one wonders why anambra, imo, abia and delta should have highest cut off marks.beats me! I wonder If these people even realize that the quota system is not in their best interest.it does not help them.they cant develop with it and the funny thing is the average northerner is very intelligent.the educated ones are most of the time the best in their fields.finally all roads still lead to their religion.no apologies. |
**lazily strolls into thread with a sly grin on his face, grabs a seat in front, lights a cigar, crosses legs and patiently waits for the show to start** |
Anybody who thinks a major problem this country has is not 'being together as one country' should have his head checked. |
shymexx: @kettykingsyoure a foreigner and as such your opinion does not count. |
