yea..robin and Kevin have very good chemistry, tho Kevin spacey always takes d glory for top notch delivery, robin wright ias also an excellent actress..but for some reason I just love handmaids tale
LOL. ......Kevin spacey is an "American loved" actor. The guy is like an unfair advantage in a game. Apart from being an excellent 'veteran' actor,Americans love him.
Much of the acclaim HOC has gotten is due to Kevin Spacey.
I ( and i suspect many others too) fell in love with him in "the usual suspects". grin

when I quoted you the first time about handmaids tale,I didn't know it had been nominated for an Emmy...I'm definitely rooting for it to win
Baba, Handmaid's Tale is superb but I love the synergy between Kevin spacey and Robin Wright in interpreting their roles. The acting was exquisite and I hope HOC gets it. That show has kept it's viewers on a perpetual high, raising the bar with each season......maybe it's just me sha... wink

I remember I once recommended goliath here...billy bobs acting was just top notch, tho I feel the end was a bit rushed...

handmaids tale is what I'm loving currently..the lead actress should b given an Emmy
She was one of the actresses that made FXs "MadMen" a solid show.

So it's official! All the nominees of Emmys 2017 have been revealed. As expected, a few surprises popped up. Check it out:

Drama Series
-“Better Call Saul” (AMC)
-“The Crown” (Netflix)
-“The Handmaid’s Tale” (Hulu)
-“House of Cards” (Netflix)
-“Stranger Things” (Netflix)
-“This Is Us” (NBC)
-“Westworld” (HBO)

Gotta say, I'm quite thrown that somehow the sub-par HoC managed to sneak it's slimy way into the list. Quickly gratified by the inclusion of the duo, Handmaid's Tale & This Is Us however. Both performed strongly and I wouldn't be surprised if one of them snag the title eventually.

Stranger Things still riding the glamour and hype the first season generated even as we await the 2nd installment later in October.

Seeing Westworld in the list didn't shock me in the least cuz it was a given that the HBO drama would make the list after the first episode aired.
HOC ....sub par? Reallyhuh A show that keeps getting better like vintage wine?
House of cards suppose collet this one.......the last season was the best of all.....sick AF

Baba, no be fight, I abhor all of them. Just stating my experience. Maphites appear to be the least involved in any violence involving these people. Or is it because they are actually really good at keeping secrets?
This is not an endorsement! Just stating an opinion.

Why Maf men dey hardly dey mentioned for this kain thing. Is it because they are too codedhuh
From my experience in school, they appeared to be the only ones whon kept to a noble ideology for instance, back then in UNEC enugu, they had officials who made sure their members always came out with good grades.

grin grin grin grin grin wike no reach to tie amaechi shoelaces. His 2 years in office has not matched amaechis 1 year in office.
wike is just a joker and to make matters worse hecalled the worst governor rivers state has ever had-peter odili to commission the PH pleasure park.
Odili is a thief and oart of the reason why the state has made little progress since its creation.
The only governor to build the first flyover to collapse in nigeria. a man who stole rivers dry, ready to bribe GOD himself in order to be president.A man who got a court injunction through his equally corrupt judge of a wife from prosecution by EFCC.A man who started and institutionalized the use of violence in elections, the precursor to the bloodbath we are witnessing today. The beheadings, rape etc, odili is the root of them all. Nobody in his right senses would associate with this man and thats why amaechi was able to keep odili and his cronies out of rivers state and closing the taps through which they bled the state. Taps that wike has opened once again.
A man who should not show his face on the streets of PH,who should be sneaking in and out at night.
Thats the man "our dear" governor has called to commission a project. what message does that send??
They say "tell me who your friends are and ill tell you who you are"....... this is the kind of man wike is in bed with and you expect progress??
Na una sabi..... angry

There are unconfirmed reports that president Mohammadu Buhari has approved Onne Oil and Gas free Zone terminal in Rivers state as a multi-purpose Cargo Terminal.
It's unofficial but those who can make calls and confirm should please do.

Kaysalas:
Hey bro, i see your points but again, i do not like mincing words or jumping from one argument to another. All i am saying is 50 years is more than enough to bounce back after a war. please, i am not here to argue resource control or fallow lying resources with you(as if other regions dont have same issues)
one minute, one of your own is saying:"despite the war, see how we have bounced back", i take him up on that, and you are telling me; resource control. you know what, maybe we should just let this matter rest. cheers
You sound like one of the very few intelligent yorubas so I'll just chip in.
What revolt is simply saying,is that even in 500 years, the South East will not recover because of the way the country is structured TODAY.
Let's face facts. The south East has experienced and is still experiencing gross marginalisation.
It has over the years, been starved of very important BASIC infrastructure that is vital for its survival and prosperity. Don't overlook these issues.
Revolt mentioned the clear difference in regulations affecting the lagos and portharcourt ports.Until recently, the south East was denied an international airport.why?
It's like starving a child and still expecting that child to grow up.
Nigeria,as constituted TODAY,does not allow for regional development WITHOUT recourse to the center.
You are yoruba. As regards regionalism, your zone is the most progressive but you will agree with me that Nigeria is indeed HOLDING BACK the south West and grossly slowing down its progress.
You talk of moving on as if we are referring to a simple broken relationship between a boy and a girl.

Both the yorubas and igbos have not given convincing arguements on either side.
Only one poster nailed the issue: AVERAGE.

Since you all claim to be intelligent, what does "average " mean in statistics? Why "average" data? What is its function? It clears out the noise so we can see clearly.

The South East is ahead. QED

Music/Radio › OSSICULAH - REINTRODUCTION (rap Video) by phantom(op): 5:29pm On Mar 10, 2017
Hello people.....this is introducing ossiculah, a very good friend of mine,PH-Born ikwerre dude, who is based in the UK. He's currently doing his PHD but has always had a flair for music, hip hop particularly. He is an ardent WUTANG disciple but his music is original and refined.
We all grew up listening to late 80's-early 2000s hip hop and he tries to maintain that raw undiluted hip hop flavour that we hip hop heads know and miss.
He has a youtube channel. Please subscribe and help share his videos.

Originally born and raised in Port Harcourt, he is well known for his skill behind the mic and also his ear for a good mix. He worked as producer/sound engineer for GrooveCreek before setting up his own outfit, “5th Flo”. After a hiatus of more than a few years, he is currently working on a mixtape titled #TheConsciousnessProject, and this is his first single off the project titled “Re-introduction”.

PS:Very few 9ja artistes do real hip hop. Infact most who call themselves hip hop artistes have no idea what hip hop is.
Hip Hop is a culture very very few well known 9ja artistes are actually familiar with.
Modenine and MI for now are the only ones who do rap in its pure form.Others include the defunct swat root(abuja/kaduna), Specimen A(PH) and trybesmen(lagos), Str8 butter is another group that was so good but their career never really took of,same with others like pherocious, gino and M-thrill.
We need more artistes who can practise this art form in its purest. Enjoy!
