brother...calm down and sheath your sword. you must realize that a great number of the people who visit nairaland are teenagers, and not just teens but really unintelligent teens. please calm down. |
mamarika: ♍Ɣ friend ,this isn't making sense.leave matter for mattias Απϑ go back τ̅☺ work .as if your not sooooooo happy abt this news .the numerous physicians all around me,ℓ̊ knew the severe plus acute hypertention they went through within this little period.ℓ̊ never knew U̶̲̥̅̊ guys fear this much.but make mouth on public forum.please dont quote me again. you are too dull. i get a headache anytime i read your posts. go and discuss with your fellow sub-humanoids. ![]() |
it is sad that a person(who i knew quite well) dies and a poster comes to nairaland and opens a thread to showcase his st.upidity to the world. a lady has been widowed and many others are at risk and the OP is using this very sad situation to play politics. pity!!! when we have people who reason like this ,are we then surprised at the failure of this country? how do people like the OP vote in good leaders when they cant reason properly. what is responsible for the poor IQ of nigerians for Gods sake ![]() ? |
Emmafrancis: Like seriouslythe thing tire me o!! like my people say,odi egwu really. |
for those in PH,you can get infrared thermometers at halo medicals along psychiatric hospital road. i just got one for 12,000 naira PPE suits are also available at 12,000 naira. doctors, especially in PH should try and get one for themselves because work resumes fully on monday.rest assured suspected ebola patients who have been hiding will eventually show up. get these protective equipment for yourselves because the FG/Rivers state govt hurriedly put up an isolation center at emohua. not much i s on ground as i write this. the widow of doc iyke has been flown to lagos. govt has not put much on ground at the moment so lets endevour to protect ourselves. best regards. ![]() |
the patient has passed on! a confirmation test needs to be done ASAP. |
the widow of Iyke has been flown to Lagos. she's our colleague and we are praying for her. we are optimistic she will pull through. |
saxywale: Okay. I misunderstood you. ![]() |
some of our colleagues at calabar have informed us that a suspected case of Ebola has presented. not confirmed though but the person apparently had left PH recently. guys in calabar should be careful. best regards... if chukwu does not lose his job over this issue then we are not serious.he's handling of everything has been terrible because he has his eyes on ebonyi government house. |
Wagasigiungu: Hmmnn. Can't help but make a comment here. I hv been keenly following the discourse in this thread and others on NL and other online forums/blogs since the onset of the strike action by members of the NMA/NARD. I must say I am dismayed by the response of nigerians. It all goes to show the level of patriotism we have. How can we prosper as a Nation with this mindset? We have,on one hand the medical doctors, (believed by most to be highly intellectual), and the other hand members of JOHESU ( with, talented and seasoned experts and intellectuals ,some of who even have PhD's) and finally the general public. Please and please my dear brothers and sisters let's sit back and have a rethink. What will it profit us to persistently be @ each others throat? Health-care is a team-work. No cadre of health care worker is easily dispensable from the cleaner, attendants, nurses, pharmacists, MLS,Drs etc.I agree! but how will there be peace when people have started encroaching. they can't stick to their job descriptions. look without mincing words, there is so much jealousy.there is hatred for the doctor. I agree some doctors have not done well but the other people want to be doctors. I have seen lab guys and nurses that went back to read medicine. I have never seen the reverse. that should tell you what direction the gradient is in. |
on a lighter note, one of my crazy doctor friend says; relativity is a situation where a male doc can marry a female johesuite but a male johesuite cannot marry a female doc. ![]() |
skabber2: Fg should have allowed these doctors to stay at home for at least two months without salary ........ teach them a good lesson. Then, they won't come here and be making noise. People that were practically begging fg to reinstate them, now they are making mouth..... would NMA have suspended the strike if residents were not sacked.go and find out what a court injunction is. NARD got one and it meant that if you leave the doctors till 2016,you must pay them. your idioti.c minister had to behave himself. |
barcanista:barca...how market? you better go and disturb your APC guys make we see how we go take pursue GEJ next year. many doctors don go dey arrange voters card! |
sacking residents was their TRUMP CARD but unfortunately they shot themselves in the foot. the sacking angered many of the delegates/state chairmen. if MARK had not intervened, residents were ready to make sure that strike continued even though Obembe and his cohorts sacrificed NARD. the consultants association from different chapters started releasing communiques and swore they would not work without residents, a move chukwu did not envisage. when it became evident that doctors were getting angry and the national MDCAN may pull out, they had to reverse themselves. bunchaclowns! |
elvisz: neva heard d 24 demands have been met. NMA said dey called it off cos of ebola. Not because d demands were met. Or u stay in ghana.?yes because you expect Obembe to come out and reel out achievements on NTA news. of course im go talk Ebola make e be say NMA get conscience. |
interesting! we south easterners need to start looking inwards. the two richest states are still finding new ways to boost their IGR. says a lot about their leaders. the north is our problem. |
Bertbert: . Fat lie, were they demanding for MOST of their demands or ALL of their demands at initial stage? Leave that thing we know what happened, now their tails have been cut, they can never mention anything STRI not to talk of mentioning STRIKE as they now go back to work. They have now seen that apprentice is never bigger than his master. Anyway we always pray for the best in this country because katakata no dey payyes, you sacked them yet you go dey negotiate for back. you need to see the pressure senator mark put on NMA even on the day of the EDM. it was dicey that the federal govt made sure doctors starting getting alerts while the meeting was on. mark played his politics well. that is what NMA expected from that vindictive minister. he couldn't deliver then got angry when mark sorted out in three days what chukwu couldn't in 6 weeks. |
Leopantro: they can't. He is already dead. it's the relatives we are following. |
Leopantro: they can't. He is already dead. it's the relatives we are following.but samples can still be gotten from the corpse. |
Wefiak1414:resident doctors got an injuction restraining the otuoke clown and his ebola stricken minister of health. they realized some facts 1. they would still be paying doctors even when they are still at home 2.the hospitals WERE STILL GROUNDED 1 WEEEK AFTER NMA OFFICIALLY ENDED ITS STRIKE 3.THE EBOLA IN PH has also made nonsense of the minister. it shows they didint even know that a diplomat was missing in the first place 4.NARD woudl have considered sueing for damages if this had continued. do you know how many residents whose training has been setback ![]() the courts would have settled this ish in favour of the docs. |
kayciano: JOHESU can now EMBARK on their STRIKE ....fear gree them ? i cant wait for PRIVATIZATION so that the chickens can come home to roost. |
its too early to call them back, they should have let them stay for another month,so nigerians would go to the hospitals and find out WHO REALLY RESIDENT DOCTORS ARE. how many consultants are in the country ? which sane consultant will work without his residents? ![]() |
begwong: Learnt some of them have gone to riding keke napep to eke out a living refusing to come back for fear of ebolawhosai......they are the ones you and your family have been seeing in private hospitals.... ![]() |
the crazy minister and hiss boss were apprehensive about the NMA NEC meeting at awka. nobody told them to restore to default settings. inept leaders!!!! what did they think ? that hospitals would move smoothly without resident doctors ?FG sh****ting in church since 1895!! ![]() |
adeoladrg: Which demand?i have asked all the JOHESU fellows including you to give us update on your consultancy/directorship issue. if you dont know,go and find out. by the way, what happened to your planned strike ?? ![]() |
adeoladrg: after your useless government scooped up every bit of their vomit shamelessly. does it make sense ?? you still gave the doctors most of their demands,so why the suspension in the first place.the i.diots sacked doctors, realized they had committed a big blunder, then sent senator mark to come wipe their shame. if not for senator mark, nigerians and their mumu government for hear am!!! ![]() |
casket: The Federal Government has lifted the suspension of Residency Training Programme in all federal hospitals with effect from Thursday, 28th of August, 2014 (yesterday) while the ongoing appraisal of the programme continues.the bolded really cracked me up.... ![]() Ngerians should get ready to see the hospitals COME ALIVE. the people that REALLY MATTER are back! |
Leopantro: I reliably learnt that the PA to the commissioner of lands and housing in Imo state died on Tuesday evening at his abode in Orji. He was vomiting blood prior to his demise which happened very rapidly after complaining of feeling unwell that evening. That's all that could be ascertained from second hand information. He was also in the habit of taking alcoholic beverages. Liberally too. The man has a wife and an infant.they should please test him for Ebola. cirrhosis is also possible. |
jpphilips: Guy, he told you what you wanted to hear, why did Iyke not admit him in his hospital? do you have any Idea how long that diplomat stayed in that hotel? the wife is giving you stories, why did prime reject him for admission before he went to stadium road?but someone had also mentioned that he was never taken to prime. |
pigin: Guy how are you doing? any symptom yet? ....crazy guy |
jpphilips: Mr Phantom, he knows, Sawyer's test report came out on the 22nd July 2014 and it was announced, Dr Ike was treating the diplomat since the 5th of August, even if he claims not to know, Liberia + Sawyer + hemorrhagic fever should add up to Ebola, ( he is a professional for fvcks sakes) he was paid good money for that and people who know him have confirmed that, you said you know him too, why dont you pull some strings to get some facts.JP.....do you think iyke knew he was treating an Ebola patient and went home to infect his wife and baby? doesn't make sense. the diplomat did not have full blown symptoms and may have hidden vital history from him. the fact that Iyke knew him and invited him to PH is pure speculation. |
many private hospitals in PH have started refusing admission for febrile patients |
