still won't have 6,000 megawatts of electricity by
2019, There will still be atleast 2 ASUU strikes
before 2020, garri will still never be sold at 20naira
per derica, ponmo will still be cheaper than beef,
your landlord will not reduce his rent, your salary
will most likely remain the same for another couple
of years, I will still have to pay for electricity that I'll
never get to use, MC Oluomo will still control
Oshodi, DSTV will not reduce monthly subscription,
MTN will not give you FREEBIES without hidden
charges, the list is unending, but one thing is super
certain, your hustle will always put food on your
table. Just vote, don't impose your opinions on us,
GEJ is a lion, BUHARI is a wolf, even we sef we no

Those slogans are just slogans, i have lived in oyo state for a whole year. Please try and travel widely, you seem to have little exposure. Slogans are just titles for crying out loud. A state chooses its slogan, it does not necessarily mean it lives up to it. Oyo of today is not setting pace in Nigeria, i love the place and its people mainly because of its hospitality(I must say that is one thing the yorubas have). Aside that it can not compete with many states in the south south. Talking about board of directors, your statement is fallacious, once again you have no data to back it up. Also, such firms usually have people from various tribes(not just yorubas) on its board, because you can not get the full potential of a firm if you are an ethnocentric person with a false sense of supremacy such as yourself .

Try and travel widely in Nigeria, perhaps you would get reasons to stop being stereotypical. I was once like you, i knew the Yoruba only from what people said about them(and it was mostly negative). until i got a chance to live amongst your kin with an open mind, i realized they are just like every other tribe i have met with a few peculiarities, no doubt. I have a lot of yoruba friends, not because your people are the best in the country but because i pick the best of people i can wherever i go. There are good people as there are bad in every tribe, there are brilliant folks in every tribe as there are mediocres and dullards. When you realise this, it would help you drop your false sense of supremacy, appreciate your strength and that of others devoid of a tribalistic mind. Oft has riding on the sail of a false sense of supremacy taken many to nowhere, in life even talent needs to be tempered by hardwork and success has never been tribalistic.

This whole argument started because you deviated from just pitching support for buhari, to attacking people from regions that he also needs 25% votes to win the elections. your utterances are counter productive because it almost waned me from voting for who i felt is right for my nation, to who i felt is right for my region. I have heard Buhari speak, this may be who you are but clearly this isn't what he is about. if we must have the Nigeria we dream of, we must see ourselves as Nigerians nothing more.

I like your response despite the fact that I received some bashing in it. If only you know me in person, you will know that I'm not confined to the boundary of southwest. As a matter of fact, I served in Enugu for a year in mid 2000s and I have touched at least 15 states in the country. Funny enough I'm presently not residing in the country and my knowledge of things happening in the country are based on what I read online as well as feedback from kith and kin grin. I'm not really partisan, and I haven't mentioned anything about this presidential election until lately after observing GEJ actions. On my first comment on this thread, I poured out my mind based on what GEJ is doing in Southwest. There are many matters of concern in respect to aforementioned point, but the ones that are really hurting is the use of OPC to intimidate people of SW, Sending battalion of soldiers to Lagos for oppression, failure on what he promised the region, negligence of the region for consideration in his cabinet etc. These are what made me said he betrayed, insulted and belittled Yoruba people. I don't think what i said is too much to vocalize. I never intended to be tribalistic or indicated SW hegemony over others as you insinuated but let's say I got pushed grin. Yoruba tribe has its on flaws like every other tribes in the country, but you threatening us that we should look for alternatives to oil money as an aftereffect of not voting for GEJ brought the issue of stating my people prowess in surviving without oil money. About the fortune 500 companies, I'm really serious on what I said, but we shouldn't delve into that and continue dragging what doesn't worth it cheesy. For your personal research, the following are fortune 500 companies in Nigeria: Chevron, GE, ConocoPhillips, GM, Citigroup, IBM, Microsoft, EMC Corp., Halliburton, HP, AECOM, Qualcomm, PWC n P&G.

When BH were killing and kidnapping their children in thousands what did you do? Now you need their votes. Does this guy have no conscious?

With 14 millions voters, 10 millions voters and 18 millions voters from SW, NE and NW respectively. Let's see how Gej is going to win the election

Out of possible 42 millions votes from this 3 zones Buhari is getting nothing less than 32 millions.

what informs your conclusion? you have no source? more so, it is no news that the free education awol did bk then gave yorubas leverage at the time particularly as other tribes were not keen to education. but that was then, now every tribe except the hausas have woken up. also intellect is not really measured by degrees or profession. I schooled with people of various tribes including yorubas there was nothing special about them, some of them ranked lowly in performance. y'all are just normal human beings, yes you may have some brilliant fellas(just like every other tribe does) but you still have your fair share of dullards.

as brilliant as you claim you guys are, gov aregbosola openly declared that he has been unable to pay salaries for 5 months, simply because his allocation couldn't meet his needs! Meanwhile the same man if i remember correctly, some months back was busy doling cash into a crowd during campaign. I guess this is the intellectual prowess you brag of.

Do you think Ekiti state is called fountain of knowledge for no reason, Oyo state is called the pace setter for no reason and Lagos state is called center of excellence for no reason? Aregbesola example you came up with is invalid. If you can mention a fortune 500 company (not chikwudi and sons) that operates in Nigeria that doesn't have a yoruba as a member of board of directors, then I will give up.

Then Please by all means go back to before oil, to save yourselves the disgrace of your governors always running to Aso rock for allocation earned from another man's land. Mind you i taught in a yoruba school during NYSC and i do not buy that cock and bull story of yoruba's have intellect, maybe when compared to the northerners but that's the much it gets.

If you can't mention one tribe in the whole of West Africa that has more doctors, lawyers, professors, engineers and other professionals than the Yorubas with figures, then I rest my case.

since you have decided to tribalise the whole thing, i have no other option than to also vote along tribal lines. i made the mistake of thinking this was about Nigeria as a whole, but it is clear now that it isn't. We in the south south will teach you guys a lesson you will never forget. You had better start looking for alternatives to oil money.

Before oil, we built the first tv in Africa, the first skyscraper in west Africa and our children had free education. We don't need your oil, we are intellects. Other tribes are bringing Yoruba nation down

Southwest is the swing votes in this election, and Buhari is getting nothing less than 65%. GEJ betrayed, insulted and belittled the Yorubas. He will be taught a bitter lesson in politics that he will never forget in his miserable life.

Just to let you know how sophisticated SW electorates are, in 2011 we voted PDP for presidential (because we never knew GEJ is this clueless) and voted ACN for gubernatorial. The same thing we did for Obasanjo in his 2nd term (PDP for president and AD for gubernatorial). If GEJ likes he should give all Yoruba sons and daughters 1 million dollars each, they'll chop his money and still vote for Buhari

Mercedez 911 popularly called molue was formed by students back then, in 1972 there was a riot and students were forced to take those buses then cause they had no choice, so one day the conductor was beating and harassing students and a military man was on mufti and watching so when they got to barrack bus-stop then at oshodi the army told the conductor to get down and student and the conductor was been beaten and he was begging and shouting (I didn't beat u, I didn't beat u in yoruba) meaning "mo lu ire" from there molue was coined among we students then. Those days were interesting.

Nice story on the etymology of the popular Molue wink
