Keep ignoring facts. 10m northern kids arent going to school.. Mistake northerners make is that they delude themselves into thinking that occupying top positions in govt means educating their population
You still don't get the scope, northerners understand politics than us

Sentiment apart, He's qualified, no doubt about that. About the educated northerners, we've got some of the best brains among them. I could remember one, a prof, who's trained in the UK as a Cardiac Surgeon. He's one of the very few and best surgeons in that field. We need technocrats for every sector, enough of forcing a squre peg into a round hole. Another thing, give them free hand to implement what they've got.
Well said brother

No sir!i think what pple are tying to pass across is that they got up late, they are still backward despite all ds lil books at thier disposal,so they shouldnt be foced upon the southeners who sacificed all thier lives to get this book, seniors should always be seniors and first should always b first.in a case where a fesh connected mallam to an emir or president will be heading his seniors in the ministry just because him be hausa o fulani born to rule, shouldnt be at all.i was once a student under prof danbata ,even in the northern university where he taught us dynamics of static electicity, there were only two hausa boys out of our over 60 students!the rest na southern guys, but wen good post come na d one mallam dem go first consider because he was born to rule!.That is what we all are trying to condemn o.me grew up in d north all my life so i know what i am complaining about.
I understand what you are saying and I appreciate your view point. But the problem with we southeners is that we hardly get others back. Imagine a Nigeria where southeners have one voice especially the major tribe of yoruba and igbo. I believe the northerners understand the game of politics pass the southeners

It more than qualifies him, it is a perfect match, why Jonathan did not use these type of guys bewilders me , see what his coalition of cabals did to Prof Nnaji
Until we start putting the right people in right position without religious or tribal sentiments, Nigeria has a long way to go
PoliticsRe: Profile Of Prof. Danbatta - New NCC Chairman by pharmow:
The mistake most southerners make is that they think northerners don't go to school. Honestly speaking, few northerners that go to school do so very well. The region he comes from aside, does this man profile not qualify him for the position?

Most of the people saying it's public stunt are those that will distant themselves from the poor when God butter their bread small.

They say it is eye service, but my question is for what reason does she wanna do that. Is it for political ambition or business purposes?

How did sambo make it ceremonial?
How many times did you hear or see Sambo engaged in something like this in those 5 years. For me, Sambo was more of a representative to GEJ when he wasn't around.

What BENEFIT has emanated from all these his 'productive activities' for our fellow citizens huh

I am sure you have a list to share right away, not so?
Think of it this way, these orphans being visited could be inspired by the presence of the VP so much so that they become someone great in the future (instead of societal nuisance). If that to you my friend is not a benefit, then I don't know what's.
PoliticsRe: Osinbajo Visits Orphans At Kano IDP School Of Orphans (Photos) by pharmow:
The position of Vice President wasn't supposed to be a ceremonial position like Namado Sambo made it. I have seen this great VP engaged in productive activities in just 2 months more than I saw Namado did in 5 years
EducationRe: Funny Picture Of The Man That Created Exams by pharmow: 7:10pm On Jul 31, 2015
Very funny

This is a Hoax

From my little research, the picture shown is that of Henry Kimball Hadley and not Henry Mischel. Examination or standardized test has been traced back to 7th century in ancient China. I believe invention of examination in modern education is likely to be a systemic invention than an individual one
Jobs/VacanciesRe: How I Ignorantly Lost A Job Opportunity by pharmow:
In as much as companies encourage their employees to develop themselves, there are some things you shouldn't reveal to them before getting an offer letter. Though you might have thought that they shouldn't find it a big deal that you will be going to school on weekends. But their presumption is that you going to class weekends after working Monday to Friday implies that you won't be vibrant and energetic after weekend of school activities. As a result you won't be able to perform up to 100% efficiency and no company wants to employ anyone that can't give up to 100%

This must be the reason why our leaders never feel concerned about the Nigerian education sector. There should be a law barring public officials from sending their kids abroad to study or travelling out for medical check up.

The level of their lack of shame is alarming. When will David Cameron send his son to unilag?
The bolded is funny and true at the same time
PoliticsRe: Dr Ogbonnaya Onu's Profile And Pictures by pharmow:
This singular act from PMB shows that he really meant well for Nigeria. It is high time we Nigerians started looking ourselves as one and not along tribal division. Just to let you all know, the position of secretary of federation is very important cos it's a strong backbone of the president.
Looking at this man's educational profile makes me astonished shocked. This is one man that was best student from primary school to PHD level. This man was admitted to prestigious U of C Berkeley for his PhD without doing masters. These are the kinna of brains we need in the helm of affairs in the country.

Nigeria is going to be great again cheesy

Imagine

The President: A military General

The Vice President: A Senior Advocate

The Secretary of Federation: A brainy doctor of Chemical engineering

Nigerians be proud of the people you have at the top.

I like the way the write up was broken down into 3 sectors of generation, transmission and distribution. You know this person knows his onions. Nigeria power problem has many faces as illustrated by this write up. However, with a discipline and serious-minded person at the helm of affairs, I believe the country's power situation can improve in couple of years.

One thing I thank Nigerians for is kicking this woman and her husband out of Aso rock. I couldn't specifically withstand another 4 years of this woman's drama.

Good judgment from the court though
