well i guess the system has changed to some extent coz i was there last week ( job centre plus @ sheffield) there were so many people there especially indians so the gave us a number to call outside then we give our details and after a week or 2 they wld post a form that you wld feel and return to glasgow via post (its a free post by the way) enclosed is just a normal form that u wld fill and they wld require your passport and uk data page on ur passport (photocopy) and that is it, i guess coz i sent mine today and they dint ask for an interview or all that.

the bank really had shady deals, they wont tell you all at the beginning, as u go they kip dropping it, but what matters was i got it after all,
the total amount of fees and everything was lyk 4.5m, they said they wld pay 80% as advertised but all they gave finally was 1.7m and 140k forflight, am not worried abt that since the repay back wont be cumbersome after all, besides i felt it was a sure way to get the visa.

This is my testimony.
First I want to thank Funkybaby who gave me the last inspiration even though she thought it was a regular statement and everyone entirely in nairaland both old and new and infact future
I submitted on the 2nd of September and they told me to come back on the 24th but I just droped by on the 19th and Behold it was ready. And I got the visa. am ready to leave by tomorow
I must add that diligence perseverance, prayer where my watch word. And I thank God for everything
I used bankphb eloan and these were the documents, perhaps some one want to use it, but I must add, the bank dealt with me but I believe its worth it, coz I ended up contributing 80% of the laon wen the bank said 20%, there are too many shady fees
All I paid was 1000 GBP and no accommodation but I got a letter from the university

I would also have to come back and signand terminate the loan taken.

hello everyone, pls i have an urgent question!!!
i submitted my application at the abuja VFS on the 2nd of sept, and they said i shld come back on the 24th, i submitted paying only 1000 pounds as requested from the skl and they sent me papers for visa, the problem is that my school just sent me my receipt of full payment i.e 10300 GBP and gave me a letter of extension till the 6th of october 2008 because the school has started already, so is there any way i could add these 2 document since the verdict of the visa is not out maybe by email or something? how do i each them coz the number is always busy!!!!

as for kingibe, he deserves to be fired, i heard he went to meet jonathan the vp that yardua wld soon die so he shld make him his new vp, and other miniters 10 in all were in support, so now dt kingibe is gone we hope the 10 shld go, i have faith in yardua, though he is abit slow but he needs time i guess

got a bit of a situation here and really need your help coz i wld be submitting my application to BHC next month
first am using the bank PHb education loan, and everything from there is ready but the situation is as follows
1. i read bsc economics and i got an unconditional offer in Sheffield Hallam university for Msc informtion system security because i did Oracle after service for 6months and am certified by the standards of Oracle i.e OCA/OCP but i have only the original printout of the result or perhaps statement of result and the certificates are not coming till oct. whch is far.The question is how do i explain a conversional course?

2.my school only allows payment for accomodation when u get there, how do i tell the ECO that, though i have paid my tuition in full!!

3. when filling the bank phb eloan form, my sponsor who is my mum submitted most if not all her property deeds to get the loan, so what do i add as sponsors property deeds when submitting my application to ECO wen bank phb got it all??

4. i have been using my native name from birth till i finished my secondary school. but my mum added an english name to me (which sounds cool by the way) and thats wat i used thru university and my oracle result plus the name on my unconditional offer but pls note that the native name(s) is stil there but an extra english name making it 3 names e.g formely: oluwale chukwudi now its oluwole MATHEW chukwudi (not real names) does that mean i have to go to court to swear affidavit and print it on papers, then get a clip and attach to the list going to ECO

1. apart from the bill that we know 10% initial capital and 20% of the school fees, u need to pay a valuer ( their own to go and value the house or landed property)
2. pay them 25,000 to go to AGIS (abuja Geographic Information System) to check all your stuffs
3. hate to say this, but its 19% and its MONTHLY!!!!! so if u want to borrow a loan for 4 million, u wld pay 146,111,00 roughly a hundred and forty seven naira monthly and for 3 million u pay about a hundred and eleven thousand monthly but as you pay this month, the fee drops gradually  till u completely pay all.
4. the lady also says there are other charges for evaluation and verification apart from the AGIS fee,

the bill is not all, i just lost my patience and took off and she tried to convince me that other banks do the same, and i have paid the 10% and 20% before she told me all this!!!
i just fit no vex

i think u've asked this question and u were replied, so why do u just crowd the place up, are u looking for a specific answer?

well dude, oracle 10g has to with database administration, creation of database, security, troubleshooting, maintainance and all that while 11i on the contrary is a new programe entirely, it has to do with finacials and its the new hotcake from oracle, but the stuff is that most companies recruiting 11i are not as much as 10g, also 10g is cheaper than 11i, i wld suggest you do 10g now then later upgrade to 11i if it is ok with you.
