Can’t really understand... If only you know the time, effort and creativity that goes into developing a game, you will think twice before you jailbreak and rub developers from their creativity. Imagine if u are the one that finally gets the cure to aids, next day your family or friend sell your formula to rival companies that makes billions and you are still stuck in miserable poverty. Ever wonder why Apple and Samsung are constantly in battle over patent infringement. I love the game and I support it by buying it get2abbey: Bros why u dey fail my hand now....i say google PSN HACK or beta still Fuckpsn and get educated |
Cant understand a word of his song, but everyone is doing the dance at work NOW http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/sep/30/gangnam-style-psy-uk-chart?newsfeed=true Rapper Psy became the first South Korean musician to reach No 1 in the UK. Gangnam Style broke into the top 40 two weeks ago at No 37, a month after its release, and made it to No 3 last week. The video with the single has had more than 253m views in two months and became the most "liked" video on YouTube. Psy, an established star in South Korea with six albums, taught Britney Spears his dance moves on the US TV show Ellen month. Last week's No 1, Hall of Fame, by Irish band The Script, featuring rapper Will.i.am, dropped to No 2; US rapper Flo Rida is at No 3 with I Cry. Meanwhile, the folk four-piece Mumford & Sons shot straight to the top of the album chart with Babel. It follows their 2009 award-winning debut, Sigh No More, which has re-charted at No 10. US rockers Green Day are at two with Uno; Pink holds the third spot with The Truth About Love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bZkp7q19f0&feature=watch_response_rev https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bZkp7q19f0&feature=watch_response_rev |
To those who jailbreak.. U know u cant play online, the only reason I enjoy fifa is playing with my friends in diff part of the world? Am a developer and always support people`s work |
Had it since friday.. First thing i had to do is reduce the brightness, when connected to the internet, it kept loading and loading, and I`ve got fibre speed internet. Secondly, u can’t use your created player to play with friends online and for some reasons it take the default online formation, which i don’t want. After spending one hour on virtual tour to make the player looks like me (which is pretty cool) i can’t even show him off. Might take my time |
when i clicked on this topic, i dint expect to click on another link to show me the pictures (which I cant still find) Becareful and stop messing with my friday |
prosper86: I have been dating a married man for almost 2 years now, initially I didn't know he was married,he just told me he has kids, until I asked the younger brother who told me and showed me the marriage picture,so I confronted him and he told me truth and the challenges he is facing with his marriage, and he is still with the wife because of the children.Very easy.. End the rlt, all this qualities you have listed are the hard work his wife has put in to make him the man you admire, not picking on u darling but most women always want the finished product, now u know he is married, do the right thing |
Can guarantee you that the moderator will have to work very hard to keep hidding some post, some people will take advantage of this post and spread hatred. OP.. good post, but it will take more than magic to potray muslim in the best of light. similar to potraying naija as not been corrupt.. Just a handful of people wrecking everything sadly minority makes d loudest noise |
why oh lord why, this is 15 seconds wasted in reading and posting.. I can never get my time back for such a rubbish post and moderator to put this Junk in front page |
only if someone could give a summary in one paragraph. Lord teach me how to read long artcles |
:oI knew I was going to regret afte clicking.. |
kagel: what do u mean by u have kids? what does kids got to do with this. There are underaged kids that log into nairaland, there are other topics that attract diff categories of age bracket (thats why the site is popular) Having this on the front page will be what they see |
OP, Read your bible, God will always show you your future, the days of using a prophet to warn the people are all left in the old testament, when Jesus died, the bible said the curtain was torn in 2. U have direct access to your God, a pastor is a guide who can oversee you and teach you how to listen to the voice of God.. Tired of new generation pastors saying crap based on their feelings and preconception. Had a someone who prophesied into my life some years back that i will be a failure, he then suggested my parents open a shop for me to sell provision or some bloody crap. 10 years later, I’ve got a masters in one of the top uni`s in the world, working in a fortune 50 company and happily married. In summary, Whose report will you believe? |
Too Sensitive to be in Front page, we have kids.... Abeg remove from front page and hide it somewhere |
ikcbn: First, I must praise d name of The Almighty God who made it possible and a very big tank u 2 everyone on this thread who has in one way or the oda contributed and guided all tru d visa app process. To crown it all, i write 2 inform u all dat i jst pick up my entry clearance and would definitely b heading 2 sheffield by weekend via manchester frm Lagos....08037951518 hook me up if u intend flying by weekend.Congrats bro. The steel city awaits you |
ikcbn: Plz was machester Your final destination? I would b entering UK via machester airport too bt wd still need 2 get 2 sheffield cos that's my final destination bt i don't really knw hw 2 navigate frm d̶̲̥̅̊ airport 4 nw so advise would b heavily appreciated esp d̶̲̥̅̊ best economical way 2 do this. From Manchester you can get train to sheffield almost every 45mins, or if u want to save money - take a coach (National express) the train and coach station is side by side and depending on which, if you are going to sheffield Hallam university, its about 5 mins walk. There will be student representatives to take it from there |
Amazing pictures.. This should be in front page instead of the junk we see daily |
Sapele_Don: Pharuk lol.Bro is just observation... when u watch one set go and come u will begin to see a pattern |
justwise: It apply to every part of the UK, bills included rent makes money for landlords in summer and they can regulate the gas meter in winter as well in a way that student will not waste the gas.Again, this does not apply everywhere, not all landlord with victorian building houses do bills inclusive, am tempted to say 90% but am so sure its no longer in fashion. IN SHEFFIELD student hike up bills in winter and move out in summer leaving there bond to school accomodation which is stupidily cheap because they dont want empty rooms. . Landlords are left worse off.. am done with this.. all the best for bills inclusive victorian houses in sheffield. |
justwise: Many private accommodations are bills included and you can leave your heater on for ages if you want.True, not sure if that applies in sheffield, I have lived there for more than 4 yrs now there is also a distinction between renting an apartment and a normal house (victorian building) |
ikcbn: plz guyz,Sheffield uni and sheffield hallam are in the same house. For best advice i will suggest you take a temporal accomodation arranged by the universtity, I think u pay daily. then u can view houses when you arrive, you can also make friends and pair up. So as soon as you reach sheffield train station, look out for people, there are normally many people from churches, school union etc that will help u to your destination. make friend and start collecting numbers. meanwhile google these 2 for accomodation: http://www.gumtree.com/search?q=&search_location=Sheffield&category=flats-and-houses-for-rent&property_type=&seller_type=&min_beds=&max_beds=&min_price=&max_price= and http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=90 |
jantil: Pls I nid info on wht I shuld be expecting @ Point of Entry into Uk such as likely questions, n required documents.welcome message from the queen, then show you the tax office, u misbehave they show you return flight |
FutureDon: Oh ok bro, I was only going to ask about how easy it is to secure a good accommodation around Collegiate Campus. There are 2 ways to get accommodation and pretty sure it applies to any uni in UK 1. School accommodation: Pros • you are guaranteed a place when you come, some uni arrange a pick up bus from the train/airport • you can make friends a lot quicker • normally close to uni so u save on transport • As a novice it could be a good idea to settle in the town and make more uni friends • Normally bills included, so u can leave your heating on all day Cons • Too Expensive (normally 3-6 month advance) • Possibility that the size of the room is the same as your toilet in naija (too small) • Very noisy, loud and if u are not that inclined, u may struggle • Normally shared kitchen, believe me,, some people are animals • There is a possibility of having a gothic neighbour that plays loud indi/electro/gothic squeamish music • On a rare occasion, got friends who were shunned because they were black 2. Private Accommodation Pros • Normally cheap • You can pair up with fellow naija or friends to rent a house • More privacy to yourself • You can have house party as you like • You can have friends come over and sleep (depending on your house mates) • You kind of get responsible when u know u are paying for your bills • You get a bigger room • Normally monthly payment so enough money in your pocket • Most have free parking or street parking Cons • You will be gutted when u see your friends that have bills inclusive and use electricity to the maximum • Rooms are normally cold during winter, they don’t seem to be properly insulated or have double glazing • Shared bill could be annoying, if you have someone that constantly uses more gas and electricity than you |
shemy: So how do we avoid these? Make we no buy Primark? We no go cut coat according to our pocket?Am not saying u shld not buy from primark, the post is about spotting Nigerians.. |
Yeah, I did go to Sheffield Hallam in 2008. Great school and beautiful town. Been there ever since till 2 months ago |
Pleased to see lots of sheffield Hallam University. I can guarantee you the best experience, lots of Nigerians so u will never feel alone, Look out for RCCG church called victory assembly on 99 John st opp sheffield staduim Surprised i`ve not seen any Nottingham University or Trent!! All the best |
For you all coming to UK this Month for studies, here is a guide to spot Nigerians I might miss some so feel free to add. 1. Bag pack firmly at the back 2. Primark sweater/Coat and many inner shirts.. 3. Black gloves and Long John 4. Most* will never start a conversation with whites but rather be on their own (as soon as u introduce yourself as a Nigerian... the questions never ends and u are automatically their best friend) 5. Desperate to go to a black club and wear blazer jacket and black glasses 6. Will always pull an accent in the first instance to anybody or anything 7. Show off international friends and talk about them to fellow Nigerians 8. Always take the piss on Chinese and Indians 9. After the first week, 80% will always say I can do any work and have applied for NI already 10. Wear suit on the first school presentation 11. Always want to take the lead in any group work 12. Must fall victim of PLAGARISM. 13. Desperate to date oyibo |
