But on a serious note, dinner is meant to be the heaviest meal. Cos thats when your body is most likely to be at rest, and wont have much trouble digesting the meal.

But heavy lunch will mean drowsiness at work, cos the body will be busy trying to digest the food. undecided cheesy
PoliticsSenate Moves To Penalise Disrespect Of The National Anthem by Phate07(op): 5:08pm On Nov 26, 2010
Strolling while the Nigeria’s
National Anthem is being recited may soon be punishable by law, as the Senate on Thursday passed its bill through second reading.

The advancement of the bill is a significant step in standardising its rendition as well as protecting the National Anthem, which most of the senators agree is currently exposed to risk of annihilation.

The bill is sponsored by Osita
Izunaso PDP from Imo state who also sponsored the bill to mandate doctors to treat
accident victims without police reports.

“Our National Anthem if not
backed by law, might be rightly jettisoned into the historical dustbin if any President feels he does not like it,’’ Mr. Izunaso said.

The bill seeks, among other
things, to give a legal framework to the National Anthem and gives
protection to it against
unwarranted tampering and
abuse. The bill is to make the
playing of the Nigerian Anthem a revered, respectful and solemn occasion and prescribes penalties for anyone who deliberately brings contempt and ridicule to the act.

He lamented that the national anthem which “encapsulates our collective pride and patriotism, is not backed up with any legal instrument.”

2. Copy the comment you want to quote, and then imbed it between [ quote]'comment goes in here'[/ quote].

I want to use this medium to reach out to my black brothers that do make it a habit of mocking Nigerian women, esp Mr Cock, dobodobo, 190, Mobo404 and co, to please desist forthwith.

The Nigerian woman is actually industrious(can cook and clean), intelligent and ofcourse beautiful. So, am imploring you to forget and forgive the bad ones, for the sake of the good ones.

To the guys that feel that our Nigerian Women are worthless, you can also state your grievances here. Maybe, we just might sort them out.

And to the ladies, please do try to forgive our errant brothers. But always remember to act like ladies, and do not cuss!

Only mature contributions from mature minds, pls. Cheers! wink

PoliticsInec Is Not Independent by Phate07(op): 3:07pm On Nov 25, 2010
The Enugu Chapter of APGA says it is more concerned about votes counting in the 2011 general elections, rather than the release of election timetable by INEC.
"The problem in Nigeria’s
elections is not the timetable but the credibility of elections, ’’ the Chairman of the chapter, Okechukwu Nkoloagu, said in Enugu on Wednesday.

Mr. Nkoloagu said that INEC had changed the usual election procedures that usually put House of Assembly elections first. According to him, before now, House of Assembly elections comes first before any other, but now, the presidential election has been slated to come first.

"Since the presidential election has been slated to come first, it means that somebody out there is dictating the tune for INEC. ” He said.

SportsFriendly- Super Falcons Target Historic Win Over Germany by Phate07(op): 2:52pm On Nov 25, 2010
Nigeria’s Super Falcons will come up against their German counterparts later today in an international friendly. The Germans are the reigning world champions, while the Super Falcons are the reigning
champions of Africa.

The match, billed for the German city of Leverkusen, is the first game to be prosecuted by the Super Falcons since their successful campaign at the African Women ’s Championship in South Africa, and serves as part of their build-up towards next year ’s FIFA World Cup taking place in Germany.

Nigeria’s contingent of 18
players and eight officials earlier in the week departed for Germany well aware that they have always lost anytime they came up against the Germans, who will be aiming for an unprecedented third successive world title next year. The very first game between both sides at senior level took place back in 1991 at the FIFA World Cup in China, with the Super Falcons suffering an embarrassing 4-0 defeat at the hands of the Europeans in a group stage encounter decided in Jiangmen.

PoliticsAtiku Has Poor Knowledge Of Economy, Says Aganga by Phate07(op): 2:28pm On Nov 25, 2010
The Federal Executive Council
(FEC) yesterday said former vice president Atiku Abubakar, who emerged the consensus candidate of the ‘north’ a few days ago, has too little knowledge of the economy to draw any valid conclusions.

Reacting to claims by the
presidential aspirant of the
Peoples Democratic Party that the nation ’s foreign reserve had depleted drastically, the Minister of Finance, Olusegun Aganga, said Mr Abubakar was ignorant of the workings of the economy and therefore should not be taken seriously. He said it is always dangerous to talk on such a topic without having adequate information because this amounts to shooting from the dark.

Mr Aganga who addressed
journalists after the weekly FEC meeting said, “Let me correct this again; it is dangerous to play politics with the economy because the facts are there. You cannot argue with the facts. When you say ‘dangerously low level,’ that is untrue. That is not a statement of fact. It is always difficult to shoot from the dark, so it is always important to have
the right information. ”

The minister said in terms of the performance of the budget, the recurrent expenditure has been a complete success.

“Budget implementation means different things to different people. When you look at the expenditure side, as of date we have implemented
the recurrent part of it 100 percent. On the capital side, we have declared at least 750 billion; we expect to be N900 billion if not more by the end of the year. We are still implementing the budget. And at that level, in absolute numbers, is the highest we have had for the last five years,” he said.
