Nice move Sir. You should be happy while serving God. |
If this surgery was carried out in Nigeria then kudos to the medical team. Buhari keeps jetting in and out. |
The living and the dead have nothing in common. Prayers don't work this time. Exercise done in futility. |
permsec:Now that's what I was talking about. Would you return the money or elope with it? |
Its a good thing he returned the money and he should be rewarded accordingly to inspire others. Now I am thinking are Nigerians this honest? Cos the trend of returning mispaid money is soaring high. Are these acts done out of sincerity/honesty or out of the fact that the money will be traced and the fellow might be punished for not reporting. Lets forget about the fact that the guy is d.loing well for himself. If this cash was paid to a struggling guy in dire need of any amount and the bank waited this long? Reverse would have been the case |
Now that is been wealthy with a touch of class. I envy wealthy men who are this simple and generous. I hope hushpuppi and company take a cue from this man. God enlarge your coast Mr. Gates |
I totally agree with you. |
Sure |
Thats how one police officer hit our car from behind while my Dad was driving. Dad came down trying to ascertain the damage done to his newly painted car. The officer started spewing trash and threatening heaven and earth even getting to the point of rumpling my Dads shirt. My younger bro who has been weightlifting just rushed down from the car, landed the guy a little punch on his face. Police officer was dazed for about 20 seconds before he started apologizing, the little crowd that gathered were like " officer you for calm down, you don see wetin pass you". After the pleaded and all whats not, we just left the scene and went in peace. Thanks to that fatherly officer you talked about. I believe many of them are reasonable but the love for money has clouded their conscience and reasoning. Sometimes these randy officers need to meet their match. |
Which Ghana? You mean dark tan Ghana? So Ghana wan cheat us for this ranking? I bet you cost of living in Magodo is costlier than the whole of Ghana. |
Two male, two female. I can see you guys are well prepared for the night class. |
mikolo80:Lol. thats funny |
He would just kept his phone at the river bank and do the saving. This guy should be jailed for negligence. |
I'm taking the blue pill. Past mistakes are better seen as life's experiences. Its only a fool who makes the same mistake twice. I will take the blue pill, make enough money and believe you me know one will care about your past mistakes. 10 million dollars is a long walk from been broke. |
The world wont last that long. |
And churches pray for thieves who cart away with offering box. |
@ op; sorry about your experiences but a known saying says "dress the way you want to be addressed". Many youths have come up to say looks doesn't matter but my bro, the way our society is channeled, you are been judged by your looks first before you are given a listening ear. I try as much as possible to look neat on low cut with a good smile attached to my countenance. Let me give you a quick example: About 4 sundays ago during evening hours, I took a stroll with 2 friends of mine they had this punk hairstyle while i kept my regular low cut and believe me we were all neatly dressed. On getting to the bus stop to board a bus to somewhere nearby, I left my friends to get airtime, within seconds sars operative came from no where and began to harass my friends, a little scene started building up, I left airtime and ran back to where they were and demanded what the issue was. The sars guy were like "bros who are you?" I told them they were my bosom friends and we were going to a location, good thing was that all our statement corresponded. Later we thought about the issue and came to notice that their hairstyle attracted those guys. So its best not be caught in any web of such. And talking about office and church; you should give to ceasar what belongs to ceasar. You shouldn't look like a musician in an office or church environment and one more thing, take corrections don't argue with you superiors to get people against him. You are just on I.T, he might be you employer tomorrow. |
@ op you don't grade musicians based on their current performance. People come and go; thats why there is a season for everything I think all time best should go to Mr. Raw then Ill Bliss next. |
This is a very bright and welcome development. The Nigerian youths have been in the back seat all these years. Its high time we give those old cargoes a run. I'd rather vote in this guy for any post than vote for terry g as class captain. We need youths who have tasted the waters not the ginjah. |
I don't know if its the present situation of things in Nigeria telling on most of us but Nigerians are becoming to harsh and unloving lately. You dare not go to the market and price anyhow, those market women fit pour you pepper water out of annoyance. @ thread: I have nothing to say. |

Goodday NLanders, I really don't know to place this but I hope you'll get my point. I and a friend had this lenghty discussion recently on the paths of our careers. Many ideas kept coming up in the course of our discussion. I noticed all my friend was throwing at me was govt job and govt job. He talked on how secured and less busy govt workers at work cause he has a sister and his Dad who currently works and got retired in the same parastatal. Also talked about the benefits that follows after retirement and the ample time you have to control your private business (which i disagree on). He threw many juicy benefits about govt job and I began to give it a thought. Now to me; I am a very business savvy guy. Nothing thrills me more than seeing a successful business man/woman or hearing a great business idea. I see youths and individuals into business doing exploits and they have all the time to their selves, call the shots and are not mentally lazy. I picked a point from him where he said govt employees can control their business and still be in the govt system with other benefits. I am seeking advise on this so that i know which is best Thanks. pls do the needful |
