Good day Nairalanders

So I got a Job with a firm in a another state, I had to squat with my mum's friend for a month pending the time I will get my own accommodation, my search for house rent began. I reject so many offers, dent houses, high fee, house with no water only for me to get hooked up with one.

I was told there's a well beside the house but I wasn't told the well do dry off during dry season and hunt and request for water will be too high. I was told so many lies only for me to pay and after the payment, I started knowing wassup about the house but I haven't packed in nor filled any agreement form.

2days after considering the whole stuff, I decided to ask for a refund but was told the money has been slotted, only if I could wait for another tenant to come that I will then be refunded. I asked when is it likely for another tenant to come in, i was told they dont know.

is there any other means of getting my money refunded quick, or what advice would you all give me as regards that. The person incharge of the house refused to come put plainly until I paid. plus theres no water in the house.

I'm just sick of the whole stuff.

Not really a Job Interview but an L.O.C meeting where we were planning an inter varsity debate along side two professors, everyone will have to make contributions.

the AC was too much, I shivered and didn't know when I slept off, my frnd had to tap me that it was my turn to say something. I was lost at first but what I said was on point because I knew why the purpose of the meeting.

as I have gotten to Enugu, arrived late yesterday around 6PM

it was a long, scary but adventurous journey
I spent #9k to get to Enugu but took the Buses at intervals, one of the the one I took from Benin to Onitsha passed through Delta villages and farms.

I'm here now.

I just finished reading this BC message on my whatsapp that Buhari just declared another 2weeks lockdown for Ogun, Lagos and Abuja

Initially I plan on travelling to Anambra on Wednesday from Ogun state, the travelling was so unexpected and urgent, I'm in doubt now as to continue or wait behind but waiting behind wont be of great importance to me.

I have come to ask if there will still be interstate travelling amidst the immediate 2weeks lockdown and do you or have you heard of anyone who travelled in front the East today or planning to travel soon.

Dear Nairalanders, as I'm typing this right now I'm in sifia pains. Really terrible pains.

My phone got missing yesterday from where I plugged it. It's a Tecno spark 4 I bought just February here. I bought it 34k. I went to price it today it's now 48k!!!!!! I feel like dying, my chest is contracting, I can't sleep nor even close my eyes. I now what it took me to be able to afford that phone now someone took it from me? The pain is beyond imaginable.

I'm now back to using a stupid pop 2 that is not even functioning well. God where did I go wrong? Please someone should talk to me. I have lost my WhatsApp contact and I'm trying to even open playstore to download it's not opening. What kind of life is this? I feel depressed, sad and really terrible.

Someone should please tell me I will be fine because I feel terribly heartbroken right now.

So sorry about this dear, I can feel your pain, it once happened to me. I bought a phone(spark 3), just a month interval and it was gone, stolen by someone I taught, my student. you can see how painful that will be, knowing the person that stole your phone but all steps taken proves abortive. what could have been more painful than that. What even motivated me to get the phone is so that I could be effective with my teachings, the school principal gave me the scheme of work for my subject without a textbook. and I I been planning towards getting a phone then, so that fostered the buying.

I'm fine now and I'm sure you will be fine too. please note, it's not the end, you will get a new phone soon, I got another phone 3mnths after a better one, Samsung. I was just unhappy that the money should have gone for something else and not a phone.

you will be fine I tell you, it will only make you wiser, dont waste your money trying to track it, and when you eventually get another one, make sure you save all your contacts directly to your gmail account, it will be better that way and also have a backup of all you photos and document.

The pain gotten from the stolen phone made me realise how painful it will if I steal what's not mine.

Nnewi and ihiala but honestly, na Nnewi carry am. The day I went for my cousins' baby shower, chimo! .I missed my way , got directed to the landlord's personal house instead. Kai , I almost mistook the landlord for the gateman . The landlord was sitting at the gate, with bathroom slippers , Nokia torch and one bottle of hero beer. He told me plainly that he have so many houses for tenants, which particular one are you looking for? Ndi Nnewi, I throway yansh for una! Unu diegwu!!!

a frnd from Nnewi told me that Nnewi people and blood money no be from here. Few of them made it Legitly without going into blood money. they will disguise because they dont want to help their people. such life.

I went to another place called Igbariam, you will see a young boy of 22 building a mansion in the village and riding bike upan_down. during Christmas you will see money on the floor at all corners, you dere not pick it.
