Politics / Re: El-rufai To License Pastors And Muslim Clerics by pheesayor(m): 1:26pm On Mar 14, 2016
Religious Regulation Bill being proposed by @elrufai in Kaduna will actually protect Citizens from Islamic extremist preachers. For some usually lazy Nigerian media it is profitable to label Kaduna Religious Regulation Bill as a bill against Christians. BIG LIE! Contrary to the lies IMO the Kaduna Religious Regulation Bill should be adopted by all NORTHERN STATES and Nigeria to curb extremism

Reading the proposal any sensible person would know the Religious Regulation Bill is targeted against extremist Islamic preachers Over the years Nigeria allowed all manner of preachers to distribute hate CD's & materials in North, ideology of hate gains momentum. The bill affects both Jama’atu Nasril Islam, JNI, the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN & all other allied religious groups. Religious Regulation Bill does not BAN Islamic & Christian preachers it makes it mandatory you REGISTER with a body overseeing activities

If U truly preaching the teachings of Jesus or Mohammed *SAW what will it take you to register your activities? As a country we have allowed radical Islamist & some Christians who pass death sentence on young Children as Witches to roam our land. In England, Italy & Co you can not just set up your Church or Mosque without authorities being informed.

More countries affected by terror are updating Religious Regulation Bill & clamping down on radical hate preachers of all sides. CAN and JAN should work with @elrufai & get lawyers to look at Religious Regulation Bill & make sure it doesn't impede on freedom of worship
To twist a Religious Regulation Bill that is targeted at all who just set up shop & preach hate to being a war against Christians is wrong
Religious Regulation Bill requires Churches & Mosque to keep a record of Preachers, especially Foreign preachers, WHAT IS WRONG IN THAT?
It bans use of religious CDs, flash drive & other communication gadgets except in churches, mosques or other places of worship.

Anyone familiar with the activities of terrorists group Boko Haram will know they pass messages of hate via CD, Flash drives etc
You may dislike Religious Regulation Bill or you may dislike @elrufai but at least save innocent ones, don't stoke religious intolerance
Finally ask Mathew Ashimolowo and Bishop Oyedepo they will tell you how the law put them in check here in the UK. They have to comply

Health / Alopecia Patient Jasmine Oguns Cries That MC Wazobia Stole Her Video by pheesayor(m): 1:56pm On Mar 08, 2016
Alopecia is an autoimmune disease and a hormonal disorder. The hair on your head just stops growing...this disease can be extremely challenging. It strips your pride away and dwindles your confidence to a negative low and you are left a choice of confidently rocking a bald head or hiding behind wigs.

Dear Stella,
My name is Jasmine Oguns. I have suffered from a disease called Alopecia for the last ten years of my life. If you are reading this and you do not know what Alopecia is, I will briefly educate you.

It is a disease that makes the hair on your head stop growing. Sometimes it even impairs the growth of hairs on your face (eyebrows, beard and upper lip (for men) and even the body.

Alopecia is an autoimmune disease and a hormonal disorder. It is not physically contagious but for any woman like me, emotionally, this disease can be extremely challenging. It strips your pride away and dwindles your confidence to a negative low. I will discuss my own personal experiences of stigmatization because of alopecia in due time.

Photographer, Anthony Griffin summed it all in the very recent photo-shoot he did where he beautifully captured several female Alopecia sufferers that “It can result in social phobia, anxiety and depression, especially for women for whom a deep, personal relationship between hair and self-esteem has existed throughout history, philosophy and religion.”

Even celebrities like Tina Turner, Naomi Campbell, and Beyonce have been strongly rumoured to suffer from alopecia. Several of their colleagues also donate millions to support alopecia sufferers but in Nigeria, victims are stigmatized and suffer.

Men are affected by alopecia too. But they can get away with it by being called 'bald and sexy'. A woman's hair is her crowning glory. Hair loss from Alopecia can drive you to the verge of suicide if you do not get emotional support. It is not to be joked with.

MY COMPLAINT:
A while ago, I started an NGO, (Heroic Alopecian Foundation - HAF) to create awareness about Alopecia and help reduce stigmatization. I paid a director called Edward Uka to shoot a video which was meant to be an intro for an extensive documentary on Alopecia. Edward introduced Philip Azeke aka 'MC Wazobia to feature in the video. (Engaging MC Wazobia was not even part of the initial plan).

When this video project was completed, MC Wazobia asked to use the video and I said “NO”. I was still editing it and was not fully ready to air it. As I write this press release, my video has gone viral.

MC WAZOBIA HAS STOLEN THE VIDEO, claimed the intellectual rights, edited it to look like a full blown comedy skit and released to gain popularity without acknowledging / giving credit to the true video source or originally intended purpose.

Wazobia FM, despite the enormous campaigns about piracy in Nigeria, even appended their watermark on my video and spread it through their online media channels.

I humbly ask you to help me expose and address this theft. Anything released to the internet cannot be retrieved. I will forge ahead and find other ways to modify and release my earlier intended project. But I want Phillip Azeke aka MC Wazobia to be sanctioned for his unprofessional and fraudulent act. Simply put, HE STOLE MY WORK.

I questioned him directly and he remains unapologetic, unremorseful, and callous about his actions. He has a right of reply to this release but I have already engaged the services of a lawyer to pursue legal redress and I will hand the lawyer all evidence required to prove my story.

I am so sad and traumatized that serious issue like Alopecia can be treated as comical in our country Nigeria. It is high time we start treating certain health issues with more sensitivity than we already are. I am certain that women, who truly know the implication of hair loss, can also lend a voice to condemning MC Wazobia’s actions.

Thank you for your assistance. I am most grateful.

Regards,

Jasmine Oguns

Family / Re: 3 Days After Our Wedding, My Wife Can't Stop Crying by pheesayor(m): 1:42pm On Feb 23, 2016
Abayomi, make your wife understand that this is a new life, she has to program/rewire her brain to her new status. Try to know what she misses at home and attempt to recreate those things for her, as a man it was hard for me too but I told myself I must be realistic and it worked, it might take time but she will adjust and if she doesn't then you can seek the help of a psychologist or a counsellor.

Congratulations on your wedding, I still dey vex for you sha

yommys01:
I got married on Saturday 20th of February 2016. We were in an hotel till Monday, wanted us to stay longer but she refused saying she wants to go home ( that used to be my house).

Ever since we got home yesterday ( Monday), she has been crying. Called her mom, she prayed for her, my mom called her too and prayed for her.

She stopped crying for a while, we woke up with another round of crying this morning.

This is breaking my heart. I hate to cry as it often leads me to depression now I am close to tears myself.

I don't know if I have done something wrong or what to do. It is hurting as she cries.

When we were dating, she finds it difficult without her family for long " oh, I am already missing my dad, I am already missing my siblings" could this be the reason?

One day she came to mine from home as we have Dr appointment early and she lives in another state, she got to mine and 1 hour later she wanted to go home. "I am missing my dad sha" which got me annoyed then.

Could it be that the crying now is linked? She is 25 and I am 30 and we spent quite some time together before marriage. The fact we used to be together for so long makes it more confusing. This is a house she has always been in why the crying now?

It is hurting me. Badly and I am confused.

What do I do?

Note that most of the projects executed by GEJ was started by previous governments; notably OBJ's. Reason why I say government is continuous. Even after Buhari leaves office, there will be projects started by him for his successor to complete.

Look at third mainland bridge, Shagari started it (if I'm right), Buhari continued and IBB completed it,

Have you seen the budget and how much budgeted for that road? Government should be all-inclusive, road would be fixed not because he's from the region but because it is their job and they have to do it. Besides work continued on that road last year after GEJ left, get your facts right.
comos:

Osibanjo should fix it. he is from that region.

At least GEJ constructed the Lagos-Ibadan expressway road up to RCCG camp.

He should be ashamed of himself that after 8 months, a meter has not be added to that road.
