Just to add my 50kobo. I did a lot of research before going for ntel n so far no regrets what so ever. Since I bought it over a month ago I've been streaming Netflix without a glitch. The only challenge is that the signal strength fluctuates btw 2 and 5 bars. The better the signal strength the better the speed. But even at 2 bars Netflix streams perfectly so I'm not complaining.

I recommend them if they have good coverage in your area.

I use their ZTE MF286 router (needed it for home use only) which has great wireless signal that covers my entire house and is still strong even when I step outside. It has dual wifi band (2.4 and 5Ghz) a USB port and 2 RJ11 ports (which ntel does not support yet tho). And best of all it is not locked to their network. The day their head starts to touch I will just change sim.
Ntel is stylishly falling my hand hand. Network coverage has improved but speed has dropped. Tried in Festac 24th/25th and after making mouth about their speed, I was disappointed

Sorted. Was a dns issue. Changed to google 8.8.8.8
Me I've been having issues with Google play Store, I thought my phone was faulty and had to try various tricks until I switched networks and it worked.

Dexterush so for the loss of that child. Very sad when it can be preventable.

I will put a question to mamas and papas here generally, please answer with the first thing that comes to your head... no googling, dont ask anyone around you. There is no right or wrong answer. Shouting "blood of Jesus" is an ok answer to put as well.

Assuming you are alone and a baby is choking, what do you do, also assuming no one is there to help?

I just tested with my colleagues iphone 5s and it worked very well

Ntel seems to have some serious problem with IOS devices.
i have been having serious issues connecting to websites outside of nairaland, browsing the appstore, and generally with updating.
it's been so bad i took my ipad to the office today. i am connected to the office wifi and browsing without any bottlenecks whatsoever.

its only ios as i have a note and lumia and those dont have any connectivity issues.

She's been crying all night, cry of pain. Warm water made her feel better with lots of petting, added paracetamol for headache the might have benocaused from the long and hard cries. We definitely have to go to the hospital as I can't take it anymore
pheesayor:
Thank you Ma, she however has stopped sucking like she used to, she has cold and cough and we are using panda cold for that and vitamin C to boost her immune system because cold is a common thing in my family. Her mum is deeply worried about her reduced appetite. Could it have anything to do with teething symptoms?

The crying stopped this morning. She's looking so radiant and playing like nothing happened overnight.... Lol

I understand doctors don't believe babies having teething problems, that they just simply ask one to treat the symptoms. How true?

Thanks to everyone, I will get smaller teething rings. I have one that came with a baby care kit but it seems to be bigger than her mouth so it stops on her tongue

It may be teething or Tonsilistis (swollen tonsils at the back of the mouth/throat). You should take her to the hospital for a look. Hope she feels better.
I suspect teething because she puts her index finger in her mouth as if she's itching her gum and she feels good whenever she does it. The only time she cries is when she wants to sleep and the only solution is backing her.
To check for tonsillitis, I can't afford a hospital visit right now but I'll keep observing. If it is teething, what is the best thing to use? My mum brought bonababe months ago and told us to keep for when she starts teething problems

helovesme:
Her loss in appetite is down to the cold. I really doubt if it's teething.
She must be experiencing pain/discomfort swallowing hence why she's not keen on milk.
I experienced something similar (cold, reduced feeding, and slight rise in temperature) with my son and I took him to the hospital when it didn't look like he was getting any better after 24hours from when I first noticed the symptoms. The doctor opened his mouth and checked his tonsils and also used his fingers to feel the side of his neck.
It turned out that he had tonsillitis and the doctor explained that with tonsillitis, babies find it painful to swallow. Tonsillitis in babies is literally sore throat. I can't remember if he was given mild antibiotics but I do remember I was told to continue feeding him and I should also give him warm water to drink.
I will suggest you take her to a hospital and have a doctor examine her.

back to ntel, signal has improved in Yaba(Alagomeji/Adekunle area) and I'm on the one month plan, finally left swift. I'm getting full bars here, this is an improvement from my testing three weeks ago when I had to move towards the window to get one bar. Speedtest is showing 34.52mbps download and 8.77mbps upload speed. Fast.com did not go beyond 2.0mpbs though but I had multiple downloads running when I carried out the test, was also streaming alongside too

Meanwhile, mtn 4g LTE. It now looks like ntel LTE is no longer relevant unless someone needs really heavy downloads.
Neck breaking speed but wait till it gets congested. I can confirm ntel is congested with the rate they sell devices and the way people unlock modems these days to use ntel. Ntel will get better with competition but they are slow with expansion, quite a number of old mtel/nitel base stations are wasting away.

For me sha, I've succeeded in reducing my workplace monthly internet from 25k per month for 125gb to 10k per month for unlimited Internet

My Verdict
This is the second day of testing NTEL against swift, the speed I'm getting on NTEL with one bar is similar to what I'm getting with swift on 2/3 bars. NTEL is 10k for unlimited/mo while we are on swift 125gb/mo for 25k.
All things remaining equal, I'm switching to NTEL once this swift subscription expires but will retain the swift sim for backup.
NTEL speed is okay for me, two systems even stream on youtube simultaneously while another is torrenting and it still doesn't affect others.

Heavier data users can demand more from NTEL which I'm sure will be much faster in areas with more bars

4llerbuntu:
speeds average that TBH.

But SPeedtest is not showing your real speeds. Its just testing the ISP servers connection to you.

If you want to know your real speeds, use testmy.net or fast.com

is this a MiFi or router?

if MiFi, what does the antenna look like? can i see a picture? where did you get it?
Testmy is showing 449kbps but I have only one bar. I'm using a router, I removed the antenna from the one on the right to the one of the left which ordinarily would not not need an antenna except for areas of low coverage like this one. Without the antenna it is no bar.
Later I will take it to the penthouse to retest

PhonesRe: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by pheesayor(m): 11:34am On Nov 22, 2016
Finally I'm testing ntel on a swift modem I unlocked, I'm in Yaba and with extra antenna on the modem I'm getting one bar and moderate speed. Speedtest is attached. @4llerbuntu is yours similar to this? I will test for two days before deciding to fully deploy

Who else is using ntel in yaba?

PhonesRe: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by pheesayor(m): 5:17pm On Nov 21, 2016
even if it is a router, it can be unlocked remotely except swift which I had to go to Ikeja to unlock on saturday for 4k.

By the way oyb, I'm a festac breed and I still go there weekends grin
oyb:
you bought a mifi? huh huh

the swift and spectranet mifis are the easiest to hack. all you need is the code. i'm sure you have an old spectranet or swift mifi lying around
the desktop modems are the ones that are difficult, because apparently they require some hardware tweaking. i came this close to buying one of those, but the duplicity of the fellow selling turned me off and i went to pc village to buy a tplink modem. i almost bought the ntel desktop modem, which really and truly is a superior product , but i wasnt sure if it is locked.

i live in festac, and once i have 4 bars i can get 1 - 2mbps

this is their customer care line 0700 683 55483. no need to write multiple emails to ntel over the weekend.
where do you live?
