You can start as small as 5% of your monthly salary. If u do annuity with it for 25years for interest of 20%, you will be surprise of what you will get from the result.
But not with people like Dokpesi, Tinubu, Jegede, Akinsola et al on the board of directors. grin grin grin

They will not move to that price now, but gradually, they still have enough time. Main while, people will look the way of companies that will pay dividend between now April, then after that Flour mill will receive visitors for expectation of August dividend.

If Flour mill that paid #1 last year as dividend and may still repeat the same paymemt this year, should move to #50, then Zenith that paid about #2 last year, and might likely repeat same #2 between now and April, they should be selling at #70 by now.

Their last year result and dividend came around August.

https://nairametrics.com/list-of-dividends-announced-so-far-in-2017-updated-october-27-2017/

Flour Mills Of Nigeria Plc (DPS) 100 Kobo ( date announced) August 2nd 2017 (bonus) Nil (closure of register) 7th August – (AGM) 11thAugust 2017 (payment date) 6th September 2017

Remember, as price rises PE change.
As of today, as FM price rises 3 other good stocks that pay dividend before it has lower PE. And Zenith has equivalent.

As of today price
1.Zenith 7.54 PE. (Q3 EPS 4.11). result/dividend expectation February
2. Flour Mill 7.45 PE (Q3 EPS 4.56) result/dividend expectation August
3. Fidelity bk 5.23 PE (Q3 EPS .70). result/dividend expectation April
4. ACCESS bk 6.68 PE (Q3 EPS 1.94). result/dividend expectation March
5. Eterna oil 3.84 PE (Q3 EPS 1.55). result/dividend expectation June
Please can anyone suggest what the dividend payout of eternal oil when compare to Fidelity

Most of this companies might not depreciate to 1kobo, instead of that the management might prefer to mop the shares themselves. Anyway we shall all see how it will go

Depending on how much you bought. If you bought 10 unit of a stock at N50 ( total amount invested will be N500), and they don't pay dividends, all you need to do is just to attend their AGM. At the AGM, they will give you food worth more than N500 and some corporate gifts. That is how you will recoup your investment faster.

For those that have heavy units, they will just sit it out and wait for capital appreciation.
Sir oracle grin
