Unfortunately, yester-night my pal got unwell so he had to be admitted at Dutse General Hospital and the right thing for me to do is to be with him. But to be candid, the atmosphere at the hospital wasn’t a breeze a well person or a mere headache patient should inhale and exhale in. the atmosphere was so harsh, damaging that someone can easily feel I am not saying people in the hospitals are harmful to stay with but just wondering Why the bad Atmosphere which could be traceable to the Untidiness and why Untidiness itself? |
Expantiate on how this practise began.Further more, the Sarakuna has a chamber e.g. Dutse Emirate which the Emir heads, Sarauta is only given to the rich not an ordinary street man in-fact, we can say before Sarauta is given to someone the person must have done something huge to the Emirate. In addition, a new Sarautaa is provided with Shelter, Food Cars, Houses and Wife for the well being of Sarauta by the emirate. Horses are there in abundant; every male child of Sarauta has at least two horses which they ride on Salah day with imported cloths In conclusion, just as you know what will happen to a Ward Chancellor that disdains the president is exactly what will happen a Sarauta that disrespects The Emir |
The immediate past chairman of the governing board of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Chief Amugo Ugorji says the recent decision to combine the Universities Matriculation Examination and Polytechnic examinations would solve the problem of dichotomy between HND and Degree certificates in the country.Source: Dailytrust |
@ Aloy.Emeka What do they gain from giving up their lives for samantha? They get paid their child will never be in police custody u know wat i mean @ ode remo Dogari, i thought he used to play for franceyou may be right, The world has one Language but different meanings, A "fool" in English could mean "brilliant" in another language but this of hausas is life house maid which could also be called slave |
@ post it looks ordinary |
Sarauta means Chief, Sarauta is more than a simply Chief you’ve ever known in other Nigerian tribes. They got this admiration by their fellow Hausas which makes them more than ordinary wealthy man. They have Dogari, which could also be called Slave, Dogari(es) give up their lives to serve Sarauta, Dogari follows Matan Sarauta (Sarauta Wives ) and Sarauta himself wherever they go. Young men and women want to get married to Dan Gidan Sarauta (Sarauta child) not only because of the wealthiness but also the respect attached to being Sarauta Inlaw So if you want to marry Hausa Girl or Guy, marry the one from Sarauta house coz its gusto to be Sarauta Inlaw |

Our main motive here in Nairaland is to electronically Gossip About Education, Solve Problem Concerning Education, and also Brighten Education Future. But in this thread we’re going to make a Dictionary of our own for Nigerians, we’ll be converting words from Yoruba to English, Hausa to English, Igbo to English. English Language Examinations test our ability to comprehend words and also English Language is inescapable when it comes to Nigerian education. Therefore, we need not to falter to make words in an understandable way for Nigerians to improve Nigerian English Here we go Note: When writing in Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa language it should always be in Italics Some one should help, I need Philanthropist in Yoruba Extremist in Hausa Ifunaya in English Phemour Edu. I use to be convinced beyond all reasonable doubt that I’m not a Lazy Boy, but now I’m not too sure if he's right on wrong. Whenever he gives me a task to do in his office, to me I do it perfectly but he always complains. It’s like this: Activitie: Take this chair down there. My action: I’ll take the chair away since He’s not précising where to keep it His reaction: Cant you use your brain Activitie: If Gen goes off My action: Many people have gone to check it before I’m even aware.maybe I’m the last person to be there His reaction: See how he’s working. Activitie: Opening office in themorning My action: I’m no the holding office keys So I have no reason to be in haste His reaction: If he comes and he hasn'st see the office opened, he finds me responsible Activitie: If any system got fault My action: Yeah! I love my musics in the Server and so other people do His reaction: he finds me guilty of any virus infected system bcs i play music Today, in the house, he asked me to put on the Gen, I spent almost 10minutes starting it but it couldn’t start, when he came he lamented, is everything I cant do, he said even a woman will on the Gen. He collected the winder, he tried it but it couldn’t on that when he remembered he has loosened the speed. He increased the speed and I put it on. I wouldn’t have make this a NL stuff coz I’m not bored with his criticizes but he’s about to take a terrible action. With my Explanations and Examples, please judge me am I a Lazy Boy? |
The Director, Examination and Administration and acting Registrar of the National Examination Commission (NECO), Mr Emmanuel Duro Philips, has announced the cancellation of a total of 346, 568 results of the SSCE external examination it conducted in Nov/Dec, 2008, due to examination related offences as it officially announced the release of results yesterday in Minna. Statistics from the results indicates that only 27.74 percent of the 307, 744 who sat for the examination passed with 5 credits including English and Mathematics, adding that 21, 201 candidates which reflects an approximate figure of 6.89 percent of the total candidates who sat for the same examination also had their results in all the registered subjects cancelled. Oyo state tops the list in the number of candidates who registered for the NECO external examination with 52, 318 while Ogun and Lagos came second and third respectively, fielding a total of, 28, 143 and 26, 130 candidates respectively. Mr. Philip, ventilating displeasure over the situation, maintained that awareness on education seems to be decreasing in some northern and eastern states of the country compared to the number of candidates who registered for the examination in that zone last year. While Jigawa state had only 311 candidates who registered for the examination, Abia and Adamawa states have, 1, 304 and 1, 796 who registered for the examination. Mr Philips described education as one factor that adds to the potentials of a developing a country, adding that it is an aspect that must be handled with utmost care in terms of standard and the way and manner it is conducted. “Education generally is regarded as the bedrock of development in any given society. The global and particularly, national call for a revitalization of the sector makes it imperative on all stakeholders to ensure that it is brought to an acceptable standard that will enhance positive transformation of our society. “Therefore, in contribution to the positive transformation of our society through education, NECO as an educational assessment institution, remains unrelenting in discharging its constitutional mandate”, he said.
