Why do you need to reduce the size of your IELTS TRF so small?

I'm not trying to reduce the size but trying to merge my degree certificate, WES report and IELTS result into one document for upload post ITA. Other documents remain normal after merging but the IELTS report looks funny. Please who can share a possible solution?

Hello friends, for those who used an online tool like smallpdf to merge files, how did you treat your IELTS TRF? Mine gets blurry and distorted. Please help!

What do u mean? U want to go first and they join u later? U will still need to pay for family of 4 and they must land before the expiration of the visa. Unless u apply and indicate they are unaccompanying, then visa wouldn't be issued to them when u r given.

Anyways for family of 4 according to cic you need $22, 603 (Canadian dollars) and www.oanda.com converts it to N6,434,560

Hello friends, anyone here successfully used WES or IQAS to obtain ECA for a Kogi State University degree? Please share your experience I beg you. The thought of going this route is so scary.

I have written ielts 7 times. My journey started since 2015. My Wes has been ready since then, but because of age and ielts, I have been falling short. I wrote ielts and got moderate score. I didn't know what was required then, since then, it has been a battle for me. My last 3 scores were 8,7.5,7,6... 7.5,7.5,7.5,7... 7.5,8,7,7..after the 6th one in June, I swore I was done with this dream. I had sunk so much money into this. I have gone to dubai to write celpip, went to dubai again for new brunswick info session, spent money 2ice on SINP and all to no avail. I was frustrated and devastated. July, I told my spouse to let me try ielts one more time. Even thou she didn't want to see me hurt again, she let me have my way. As for her she was done. She wanted the dream closed and buried. I don't blame her. So I paid and decided to change venue, this time I went to Ibadan, meaning I was spending more again. Then something changed. I prayed a lot about it. For catholics amongst us, please pray the prayers for exams to St Joseph of Cupertino. I went into the hall, did my best and left. I couldn't even beat my chest about my performance. I have been humbled by Ielts. But I kept on praying. I am not going to fail the 7th time. In between that time, a stranger in Lere2017 on this platform came into my life. She needed something from me. I actually wasn't in the mood to talk to her (reply her pm) but I did. We got talking and I told her my story. She was touched and she also truly prayed for me seriously. She will send me messages almost everyday telling me how much I was in her prayers and letting me know all is well. Yesterday midnight was the most awkward time of my life.. From 12 am till 7 am this morning, I was refreshing ielts website to check my result. The fear and panic was too intense. When I didn't see anything, I decided to go to their office to pick up my result.. That drive was filled with swallowing stone like saliva. On the bridge, I decided to refresh it again.. My result was there. My soul left my body and my eyes became blurry. I didn't know what I was reading but I knew I was reading.. L-9, R-8,S-8,W-7

I felt water swell up in my eyes. I understood what it is to look for something within your grasp and yet not have it. I am still basking in this euphoria so I can't real explain my ordeals. So please if you have it on a platter of gold, don't come here to rub it in on people that are going through a lot of even have a slice of what you have. For me the journey starts soon. Check 4011 and 4021. You should know however that NOC isn't about what you studied but what you have skilled experience in.

I feel you both. We were in your shoes in November 2015, and we decided to go down the O-PNP route. Tbh, our decision was made easier because the last draws at the time had been 489 and higher, while our score was in the early 420s. We sometimes wonder if we should have waited patiently then and saved the $1500, especially when we think of how long we had to wait to get PPR and CoPR. Our friends who got ITA in February 2017 already have their PPR! But we had no way of knowing back then, and we made an informed decision based on the information that we had available to us then. If we had to do it all over again, we would do the exact same thing.

My point is that there is no right or wrong decision here. There is no certainty that the cut-off will go back down to the 413 levels we have recently witnessed. However, this outcome is more probable now than it was in November 2015 given recent precedents. I would agree with Algbenguze and say that you should wait till the end of the 60 + 14 day validity period before taking a decision. Whatever decision you take, know that you are one step closer to your Canadian Dream!

No need to hurry and take it with 424 points considering the $1500 CAD involved and that NOI is now valid for 60 days I guess. Wait till it's almost few days to expire before taking it, that's if you're still not invited to apply. You may just be abt 3 or 4 draws away from direct ITA and it's worth the wait. But if u have plenny cash to splash, just go ahead.

At 424, shouldn't I just take this NOI from Ontario and run? Is there hope for ITA?

Your MBA will be evaluated as Master's equivalent in Canada and you get the required points for that. I don't think it's necessary to evaluate your bachelors if all you want is get into the EE pool. WES is fantastic for foreign degrees. I have no regrets.

Thanks so much for the school tip. It;s just sad that my son would be stepped down 2 classes because of some age restriction. Don't they consider academic performance at all? Apart from that, the boredom that comes from relearning the same things he does very confidently might just make him lazy as he won't have to exert much energy. There has to be a way round that.

The school system in Naija drives children too fast and hard especially in private schools. No time for play, rest or other extra curricular activities, and plenty homework for parents to battle with. Trust me, the kids would fit in just fine. Remember, it is not how far but how well.

I am not sure what bank you are using, but it is quite hectic getting any bank to print six months balance in a letter. It is not impossible, many guys on this platform have done it. I would recommend you just print your 6 months statements, and say in your LOE that that is what you are able to provide to meet their requirements. The only ish would be if there are transactions in there that are "suspect" not because the money is not legit, but because it is not commensurate to your income. If that be the case, kindly explain these inflows in your LOE.

Thanks a lot @Happylassy. The funds for the FTD will be available post ITA through a wire transfer and explaining that lump sum might be a problem if I print full account statements. So I was thinking a bank letter accompanying the deposit certificate and probably an LOE would suffice?

What u have said is true but that is if u 're buying from the primary market. However, u can buy from the secondary market with smaller amounts. Just walk into ur bank and tell them u want to buy Tbills. They will rush u sef

My first post on this thread after following it religiously for over 2 months. I have learnt a lot by reading from other people's experiences and I hope I'll be able to contribute my 10kobo whenever the need arises too. I'm finally in the pool with 424 points. IELTS came out as LWRS 87.587.5 (i used IELTS Liz basically) and WES completed my UK Masters ECA within 20 working days after they received all relevant information. I used a Canadian address to save shipping cost and mailed a copy of my certificate to my friend who posted it to WES locally. I'm in an ICT occupation so I hope Ontario comes calling soon. Thanks to everyone who guides us on this path...
