M.J motivates the morale of a smoker if taken rightly & not abused. It can make someone to think the "impossible" can be "possible" & that's a good thing.
Before I incorporated my company and got it registered with a multinational as a vendor/supplier, I used to think that was an impossible task given the fact that I was already 3 years in the labour market, I had no cash, no godfather, no connections & I was already tired of job hunting.
What I did was locking up myself in my room, all I had was my kush, my pen, some good rap music "Apollo Brown mixtape", a new notebook to write down my strategies & ideas after smoking some good weed.
Ideas started flowing in. Ideas on how to source for cash, ideas on how to go about the hectic registration process, ideas on how to approach the right people for assistance & ideas on how to be courageous. Gaining access to the premises of a multinational company is almost impossible if you are not a staff or have a gate pass I.D card. However, I was able to break that barrier after approaching a casual worker at the company's gate one evening after the close of work, I took him to a bar close by, bought us some drinks/meat & while we were drinking, I told him about my plans and how I needed his help in gaining access to the premises to go source for contracts. we vibed somuch that evening due to my good sense of humor. He agreed to help by talking to his supervisor to include my name in their list of casual workers to check-in every 6:00am every morning & to checkout at 4:00pm.
That was how I started accessing the premises. Weed also gave me the boldness & tactics on how to approach senior heads of departments for contracts. It wasn't easy at all as they kept saying 'no' but I never gave up. It took me a while before I finally got my big break. Ever since then, my life changed.

THE POSITIVE SIDES: Weed can bring out the creative side of anyone who uses it correctly. Most CEOs/world leaders started their carriers on kush.Eg Ted Turner(CNN), Barrack Obama, Jeff Bezoz & a host of others. (YOUR MENTOR MIGHT BE A CLOSET STONER).

THE NEGATIVE SIDE: It can be so addictive. After achieving a milestone of my dreams, I found my self smoking weed on a regular basis. I couldn't control it anymore because I was using it to hide my anxiety, fears, bad days, the rejections I faced & all.
It took the grace of God & my determination to bring it back under control.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS: Always know what works for you. As "Sample Ekwe" sang in his song, IF E GOOD FOR YOUR BRAIN, 'SMOKE'. IF E NO GOOD FOR YOUR BRAIN, 'QUIT'.

All i can say, Marijuana makes you see things in different way, it makes you think deep, you question some certain things.

There was a day i was smoking, I started asking myself what is the reason God created some people rich while some are poor, some are white some are black, some are beautiful some are ugly.

Why do pastors talk sweet things about heaven, how heaven is better than earth, they have duplex in heaven, life is better in heaven, yet they are afraid of death. I do reason a lot when i smoke marijuana.

When you smoke you think logically, you solve problems. If I'm smoking i hold my phone to chat with your girlfriend, you girlfriend might cheat on you.


My advice to any smoker or intending smoker, don't smoke cigarettes, don't smoke under the sun, if you're smoking at a friends place without taking your bath get a nice cognac and apply to your cloth, it's not nice to be smelling smoke, when you smoke at night brush your mouth before going to bed. Always make provision for a lot of foods and soft drinks after smoking, cause smoking make you have an appetite twice as your usual appetite. Most marijuana smokers that lose weight don't eat after smoking and it's not healthy. Finally smoke with people with sense or smoke alone

Those houses can pass the test of a good flat in Nigeria here. So they aren't really poor, in Naija here,those who live in such houses are not regarded as poor. I was expecting to see batchers and slums.

Life is full of many thorns that can tear anyone apart at any time. However, no matter what life throw at you, don't ever lose hope. Eminem, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole can testify this. The humble beginnings may be hard. But, if there is life, there is hope.

Today, looking at this superstars, some people might think that all has been forever rosy for them. But, that's not true. A brief look at their biographies will probably even make you shed tears.

They might be superstars today, but they were once your regular everyday people whom nobody gave two cents about until they made it. For all the greatness and world acclaim the four superstars get today, there have been years when they were struggling and trying to make ends meet. They pursued their dreams against all odds and never lost hope. Today, they are reaping the huge benefits of their labour. Don't lose hope.

Never be ashamed of where you come from or where your humble beginnings has landed you. Don't be ashamed that your mates are all millionaires now. Keep hustling smart to the best of your abilities. The universe won't forget your efforts as long as you don't give up or lose hope.
