Yahoo is the occupation saving millions of down trodden youths from poverty. I am a graduate too and i studied hard in University but i will never wish Yahoo boys downfall even if they have oppressed me and snatched some of my girl friends way back in school. The society and bad Government we have has made Yahoo a necessary evil and that social and financial vice/crime is not going anywhere until Nigeria gets better and provides jobs and a conducive environment for her teeming youths.

No level of hate and jealousy by unemployed and jealous Nigerian graduates will eradicate Yahoo boys from naija as we all cant manage or suffer the same. Our capacity to absorb hardship differs and some people want the good things of life.

Nigerian graduates should either lead a revolution against the ruling class or join the league of trainee yahoo boys.

The feedback i have gotten from this NairaMarley debacle is that Nigerians are a poor, frustrated and envious set of people. Our politicians have done a number on us. Also alarming is the fact that the demography of those criticizing NairaMarley the most are the jobless and disgruntled graduates who would have had at one time or the other tried their hands at Yahoo/internet scam but were unsuccessful. They are all just jealous of yahoo boys who though might not be educated but are highly successful in Nigeria. So in essence, the backlash and public opprobrium Naira Marley is facing is a class struggle between Nigeria's once comfortable educated middle class—who have been wiped out in 4 years of Buhari's misrule— and the nouveau rich Yahoo boy subset of the Nigerian society.

As Buhari's Next Level begins today, i will urge all to watch out for more envy and hate for the successful and financially well off in Nigeria. Nigeria's educated but jobless middle class will intensify their crusade against wealth and comfort in classic crab in the bucket fashion as Buhari's onslaught against the middle class continues. If you are a yahoo boy or a successful business person, this is the time to leave Nigeria as most of the citizens of this country are sad, envious and frustrated.

It’s funny to watch people form all sort of generalizations based on someone’s choice. The guy just happens to be rich and like spending on her and she has decided to share those experiences with us.
