I don't think you've been inside a court room before, judging by the misconception you have about lawyers.

I'm sure you realize that a lawyer can resort to lying only when the facts are not in his/her favour. Therefore, you cannot lie when the facts are in your favour. It is not correct to say that lawyers always lie. You have to choose your clients carefully. A lawyer cannot bear false witness anyway, since it is the litigant who gives evidence.

If you've heard of appeal, you'd know that a lawyer would have to lie his way through at least three different courts and 8 different judges in order to completely win a case. It is difficult to lie your way to total victory in court. Lawyers also depend on their reputations a lot; if you're a known liar, judges tend to be wary of you and it becomes harder to get away with stuff, meaning less success for you.

There are quite a number of lawyers, SAN's even, who are good christians. You have the likes of Ozekhome or Izinyon in this category.

A born again christian lawyer should not define career success in terms of money, instead it should be defined by the positive impact you have on the resolution of particular disputes and on the legal system in general. Generally, any person that sets out to make all of the money would not qualify as a born again christian. Money is said to be the root of all evil.

You don't have to be a trial lawyer. There are so many other options available to you that don't involve advocacy.

A lot of times, litigants think lawyers are telling lies because they fail to grasp that legal requirements for evidence differ from their personal requirements for evidence.

So yes, a born again christian, what ever that means, can be a successful lawyer, just as he can be a successful business man. There is nothing about being a lawyer that requires lying.

Did I just read Izinyon? Ibori's lawyer? Politicians lawyer born again? Mba, not possible. Maybe outside Nigeria.

Not that I support these mudslinging, actually PDP started this on Buhari for long. They suggested issues based campaign only to relapse into name calling not quite long after. Politics is too dirty and childish in Nigeria, a country called giant of Africa. People are laughing at us.

Funniest thing is this news and all its ingredients might just be sponsored by the desperate PDP all in a bid to frustrate the massive goodwill Buhari have recently gathered in the South. These guys want to remain in Aso Rock at all cost and most of the Northern PDP governors will do everything to achieve that. I trust them not one bit after the dangerous turn of Aliyu Babangida and co from a cause they midwifed.

Am not one of them though. I knew from the beginning he will blend into the PDP rigging and looting machine. He had zero choice. I have plenty friends who reminds me of how I warned them about this VOTE JONATHAN AND NOT PDP. Now that fraud is very glaring. Come St Valentine's day 2015 these numerous friends know how to make amends.

Nigeria, the acclaimed giant of Africa, has been ranked as one of the world’s least prosperous countries in 2014. The country was also named one of Africa’s poorest nations beaten by smaller countries like Niger, Benin, Mali and Cameroun, according to an annual global prosperity survey released this week. According to the report released by UK based Legatum Institute, a research organization that documents annual prosperity indicators around the world, Nigeria was listed as the 125th out of 142 countries surveyed. It was observed that despite Nigeria’s acclaimed $510bn economy, the nation failed to make the list of Africa’s top 10 most prosperous countries, a league dominated hitherto by Botswana and South Africa. Other countries in that bracket according to the report listed from third and below, are Morocco, Namibia, Tunisia, Algeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, and Senegal. Nigeria fell to 27 in Africa in 2014, nose-diving 22 places from its ranking in 2011, the report said. In between the top 10 countries and Nigeria are Benin, Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Mali, Niger, Cameroon, Egypt, Tanzania, Malawi, Djibouti, Mozambique, Cote d’Ivoire, Congo Republic, Zimbabwe, and Mauritania.

Honestly, from this thread you seems to be in isolation in this your campaign of change in Lagos state. Is it that other PDP supporters on this forum do not believe in the project or they are afraid of being asked to accept change in the centre since change is now the in-thing? I have noticed that you have a lone voice in this. From my observation, in the 4 previous elections conducted in lagos the people still massively give their votes to Tinubu's party irrespective of all these your allegations. They seems to see what you refused to see in governing a modernised city and state like Lagos in the hands of progressives rather than leaving it to the core politicians and conservatives which make up the bulk of PDP. Maybe you guys should change strategies from maligning and mudslinging Tinubu to telling Lagosians what you are bringing to the table that is different from what PDP is doing at the failed centre since 1999.

You are correct in a way but with all honesty between Bode George and Ahmed Tinubu whose godfatherism do you think holds much benefit for Lagosians? Just spot one of Tinubu's imposition in the southwest that's a waste or nonentity. Do you really think Agbaje will be comfortable with Bode calling the shots? Tinubu to me is 21st century compliant but don't know about Bode. Please be honest about this.

Only untrained kids insult elders. Personally I think people overstep their boundary insulting the person of the president instead of criticizing his inabilities and spotting all his corrupt ways that must have led to bad governance. My views about this are very conservative. We can actually throw lots of jab at the president without really insulting him in my opinion. Only thing is this is a public forum where all manners of persons from the under age to the mentally sick, the depraved to the frustrated all comment on matters of national interest. As I speak to you Rivers state is gradually relapsing into a den of criminality, murder and all sorts with the return of this man. The pdp chairman who Needam is a spokesman to is another king in that business. Rivers state should brace up and be prepared to sleep with one eye open for some time. The funniest thing in all of this is many of the supporters of these guys here know all of this but their hatred for Amaechi for daring to betray (as they see it) GEJ have beclouded their reasoning and are prepared to go with all of this. Only a matter of time they will count their gains or losses.

Your skull might not be as thick as mine to realize Mr President was inadvertently defending his corrupt clan. It's not rocket science. These things only happen here. I work in a global corporation where integrity and compliance is taken more seriously than making more profits for the company. You could get promotion immediately after your actions burn down a whole building but get sacked for misappropriating 5 Naira. Its as crazy and serious as that.
GEJ must have turned a 5 minute lawyer just because he was asked a simple question bothering on monumental stealing going on in his government. You guys really take Nigerians for fools.
