anonimi:Son, your 15 minutes of fame is over.. |
Gbawe:Thanks very much for this much needed advise. |
anonimi:So in your warped mind that amounts to a swearing in ceremony? What's wrong in being optimistic about a cause and preparing towards it? Is Ambode not an APC candidate in the next elections? Is Fashola the INEC that will conduct Lagos elections? My friend you should be more intelligent than this but if you are not I strongly advise you direct your energy to more profitable stuffs. |
aljharem:Anybody who can outdo the indefatigable national rigging machine of the PDP should be commended and not condemned son. That person deserves the title GCFR more than the current pretender to the title. |
anonimi:So after being roundly exposed and defeated in that thread you came here to perpetrate your stock in trade of deception and falsification of stories? I expected you to retract that lie after all it's not a crime to accept a crime when caught red handed. Meanwhile, quit quoting and ascribing me to political parties. Not everyone who is tired of PDP misrule belong to political parties. Most of us are just interested in the government ensuring level playing field to all who aspire to bring change and quit trying to destroy their characters to Nigerians whilst they continue in the massive sleazing of our resources. |
M4gunners:Ok ![]() |
chimerase2:Can anyone be more evil than a president who watches and dance in rallies while children are being killed?
|
It's only ironical that most of the people who come here shouting GEJ till 2019 are the very ones suffering most from the misrule of these ruling elites since 1999 GEJ inclusive. I can bet many are jobless without hope of income in the next 5 years if things remain this way. They are so sold to deception of these criminals in government that nothing on earth will change their mentality. I can't just help but pity their condition. Tufiakwa, Nigerians being their own enemies since time imo river! |
anonimi:Let Nairalanders help you spot the difference in the use of after in the two statements. Obviously, it's you who need help. Or go back yourself and dissect them but this time without a herd mentality. |
iv4fb:It was well quoted in my first comment. He smartly dodged it to confuse readers. Dissecting and interpretation is left in the hands of learned fellows knowing fully well there are always lawyers on each side of a case. |
anonimi:It is a stock in trade of the PDP to distort facts, whip up sentiments all to make their principal look like the victim. Because Nigerians hardly read and research you guys spew all sorts of lies to deceive them in forums. Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Mulikat Akande-Adeola, said on Tuesday that it had now dawned on her that the Speaker, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, his Deputy, Mr. Emeka Ihedioha, and Deputy House Leader, Mr. Leo Ogor, played a game on her over Tambuwal’s defection. Tambuwal had defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress on October 28. He adjourned the House to December 3 soon after announcing his defection, cashing in on the motion for adjournment already moved by Akande-Adeola. The majority leader has since come under heavy criticism from the PDP, which blames her for allowing Tambuwal to defect under her nose and getting away with a lengthy adjournment of the House. |
Why can't the Director-General who was said to make the earlier withdrawal be the one who is debunking. The N21b have started working. They will even attempt to buy Osinbajo! |
anonimi:If a letter of threat to life can be used in a law court to convict anyone I don't see why pledges to donate and acceptance plus gratitude will not commit GEJ and his cohorts to prison. Lawyers over to you people. The PDP will forever attempt to turn Nigerian constitution into a paper fit to sell groundnuts as long as they remain in power. |
anonimi:You have it plus subsection 10! Section 91 (9) of the Electoral Act stipulates that an individual or other entity shall not donate more than N1, 000,000.00 to any candidate. It is as clear as the crystal that all those individuals, groups of individuals and companies that donated more than N1 Million towards the campaign of President Jonathan have contravened Section 91 (9) of the Electoral Act. Section 91 (10) of the Electoral Act says that candidate who knowingly acts in contravention of this section commits an offence and on conviction is liable in the case of Presidential election, to a maximum fine of N1, 000,000.00 or imprisonment for a term of 12 months or both. Hope OP is not from your alternate moniker sha? You guys are becoming seriously desperate. Anything to sway the minds of determined Nigerians. Reno have never been this busy! |
And viam front page!! Thousands of other topics are there begging for promotion. As if this is an unassailable confirmed truth from the Nigerian Army that have regrettably gone very political in recent times spewing all lies and denials to protect the rot in their system. Truth is now alien to Nigerians in authority in recent times and we cannot totally dismiss the news we get from these online sources anymore. That letter for sure was not forged by Saharareporters neither from any political party as my GEJ till 2019 crew will soon come and posit. It will only join in the archives of all other unresolved stories from our dead political history. Truth is dead and buried in Nigeria since 1999. |
anonimi:He is wrong. He purposely left out sub section 9. Read it in my earlier comment. It's not a good thing for a youth to mislead other youths in matters of this nature no matter what we stand to gain from it in the interim. |
"Section 91 (9) of the Electoral Act stipulates that an individual or other entity shall not donate more than N1, 000,000.00 to any candidate. It is as clear as the crystal that all those individuals, groups of individuals and companies that donated more than N1 Million towards the campaign of President Jonathan have contravened Section 91 (9) of the Electoral Act. Section 91 (10) of the Electoral Act says that candidate who knowingly acts in contravention of this section commits an offence and on conviction is liable in the case of Presidential election, to a maximum fine of N1, 000,000.00 or imprisonment for a term of 12 months or both." Question is should a President watch his citizens flout extants of a constitution he swore to protect and applaud them in his speech? These are the youths we say must take over leadership from the old folks. The Mr-Know-It-All lawyer to be who wrote this smartly quoted extant portions which favours his argument and leaves the above in a bid to justify his jaundiced neutral-non-Jonathan position. The law was flouted with gross impunity but as usual we will move on. The ruling party in Nigeria will never do no wrong. There are always hordes of unsolicited beggars-for-alms Nigerians who will come to their defence. |
The APC has told President Jonathan to first remove the specks in his eyes before attempting to admonish political leaders in their speeches as it is on record his men have done worse in recent times. Enjoy this in the words of the ever indefatigable Lai Mohammed. Inflamatory politicking: APC tells Jonathan to lead by example The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged President Goodluck Jonathan to show leadership by example instead of engaging in mere rhetoric, saying talk becomes cheap the moment words lose their meaning In a statement issued in Lagos on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said President Jonathan’s exhortations at a Christmas service in Abuja on Thursday would have carried weight if the President had acted in such a way that his compatriots would not doubt his sincerity. It wondered how the president could admonish others to avoid sowing the seeds of discord and hatred through their utterances when that is exactly the stock in trade of his political associates, supporters and spokespersons. ”Everything that the President’s political associates, supporters and spokespersons have done has been geared toward creating division among Nigerians and sowing the seeds of discord and hatred, and the president is not on record as having ever called them to order. ”Recently, Chief Edwin Clark, a die-hard supporter of the president, said glibly that if the opposition has its way it can poison or kill President Jonathan just to take power. No statement could be more absurd and incendiary, yet the president never called him to order. ”Another dyed-in-the-wool supporter of the President, Mujaheed Asari Dokubo, said on national television that there will be blood on the streets if President Jonathan is not re-elected in 2015. He also said ‘we will not take any prisoner of war. It will be total battle’, but the president never uttered a word in his rebuke. ”Since President Jonathan’s main opponent in the 2015 elections, Gen.Muhammadu Buhari, emerged, his party members and spokesmen have been falling over themselves to pour invective on him and his party, the APC. The National Secretary of the President’s party, Wale Oladipo, called the former head of state a ‘semi-literate jackboot’, Doyin Okupe lambasted Gen. Buhari for not stealing money during his many public appointments while PDP spokesman Olisa Metuh issued his most jejune statement to date just to pillory the APC and its leaders. ”In all this, President Jonathan never saw a comment that could fan the embers of discord and hatred. Having failed to call his spokesmen, party members and supporters to order when they made incendiary comments, President Jonathan has lost the moral authority to call anyone else to order for the same wrong doing,” APC said. ”Nigerians are more divided along ethnic and religious lines today than at any time in the history of the nation, and this is traceable to the president. President Jonathan should therefore look inwards and stop being sanctimonious. ”On our part, we say, without equivocating, that we do not need any admonition from anyone, least of all a holier-than-thou president, to avoid actions that could divide the people or create discord or hatred. We are a party of peace, inclusiveness and concord, so President Jonathan should first speak the truth to his party before saying it to anyone else,” it said. http://www.politicong.com/2014/12/26/inflamatory-politicking-apc-tells-jonathan-to-lead-by-example/ |
M4gunners:Is it a crime to tell you you looks good? ![]() |
There is no evidence of shoelessness in the lives of the first family once upon a time. They want us to buy made in Nigeria cars by increasing import duties on imported cars but they don't wear made in Nigeria Ankara like aunty Ngozi. Who is president Jonathan deceiving? |
synergycom19: Too many mad blokes on Nairaland I swear! |
Leopards were never created to change their skins. By voting Fayose Ekiti have touched the Tiger By The Tail. Sai Fayose till 2018! |
Is this the same "Pastor" Reno Wendell Simlin Omokri we know that spend every moment of his time preaching hate on Buhari daily on Twitter or another one? Is he afraid he has seen a more "ordained" pastor who is grounded in the scriptures countering whatever plans they had on using religion against the opposition? They just started. Time's up! |
Ikengawo:How old were you in 1993 or you became interested in politics only when your benefactors came into governance? What sparked protests and any violence in 1993 if not for that these same forces who incidentally are in this same government and the PDP truncated a peaceful process? The 1993 elections were the freest and the fairest elections ever to be conducted in history of the whole world if I may borrow the words of one of your masters Doyin Okugbe. Advise your masters to conduct a simple free and fair elections and stop these propagandas. Seems they already perfected the usual so they are preparing Nigerians mind to the usual fall guy, Buhari. Just that Nigerians are wiser now. |
Acidosis:In the same same cell where you, all PDP apologists on this forum, Jonathan, Okugbe, Sambo, Muazu, Patience, Metuh, Uduaghan, Akpabio, Fayose, Bode George, Tony Anenih etc are locked up. Then maybe Nigeria will find peace. |
Ikengawo:Ikengawo, give it up! Time's up for all of these shenanigans. Up to the extent you attached proven pictures of mayhem that happened in another country. Your masters the PDP are the architect of electoral violence and election manipulation in Nigeria. Tell them to conduct a free and fair elections just like in 1993 and see how peaceful Nigerians will conduct themselves. There can't be effects without cause. They say he who make peaceful change impossible makes violent change inevitable. If there will be violence in next elections we all should be looking towards the PDP. Their failed and highly manipulated primaries from the Presidency to councillorship are a much pointer to what we are expecting come February next year. The leopard they say hardly changes its spots! |
Carbaby007:You can say that again, again and again! Mercedes Benz - Resetting people's throat to their default setting since 1886 |
Where are the usual PDP Voltrons? Why are they avoiding this thread like bad habit? Where are they when you need them? Those guys that can defend GEJ sleeping with their wives and daughters! |
anonimi:Can you be in a worse shiit than the one your masters in Aso Rock have put you now? Is it not equal hypocrisy to be complaining of a bus discourse while you applaud the gross impunity your masters are committing in Aso Rock? |
sagaciousblog:What will a frail old frustrated man be doing in the romance section, child abuse? Direct him to the property section where he will be selling village lands. |
All that interests me is I can see some guys with 6-packs while some are with pot-bellies in that pic. |
chukwudi44:Does the presence of the Nigerian Governors Forum which Amaechi is the chairman nullify the presence of Northern Governors Forum, Southern Governors Forum? Or you think pastors do not have their own associations? Now, that body is a very strong and recognized body among churches in the north. The revolution is sweeping across the whole country. It's very painful to the PDP though that their age long blackmail against the person of Buhari is crumbling like a pack of cards. Osinbajo was a masterstroke to the APC. Nigerians Are Wiser Now. |
