Joeadamu86: What is wrong if someone uses figure of speech to pass a message? Is something wrong with our thinking?

There is no figure of speech here. These feudal hegemonists will never see things the way the ordinary Nigerians see them. If GEJ were to remain a fisherman in the creeks he will not think this way. He is too comfortable right now to think differently. If there's a referendum 80% of the citizens especially from the South South will opt for a separate country. Not with the arrogant way the Northern governors are going about with the PIB. Let him finish his tenure and come back, we are waiting for him. He has made this statement too many times.

At least seller should give a cogent reason why he could not upload the pictures of this offer here for all to see. Am just baffled guys are giving their mail addresses to him and are still complaining of him not putting up pictures. Please you need to post the pictures here and if there's any reason you cannot you need to state that here. At least show you are a serious seller first before you call for serious buyers

Sagamite: Shut the fck up! You are an ediot!

I gave you the benefit of doubt and spoke politely to you. But your daft arsse wasted my time.

If you cannot defend your statement why challenge others? Worse still Sagamite? Are you a cretin!

There is nothing more annoying than people that make dogmatic statements they cannot even attempt to defend.

Next time, you and that person should shut the fck up if you know you cannot defend a statement. Keep it to yourself.

Who is this little foolish eediot insulting everyone on Nairaland? If you can't hold arguments without resorting to insults then you must be babysitted to learn a little before coming here. The word "person" is so common in your mouth as if you just heard it. Are you related to Seun that you can't be banned for life for your rants and insults on anyone that dare have a different opinion? Is your life that hard that you must vent anger on all? Take it easy, this 2013 will be better for you. Just believe.

rexfada: If only this thread had been on the front page before now, my elder brother would'nt av been a victim to this devil's act. Just last week he sent 14k to this Chibuzor Eze guy for a hp mini lappy through his gtbank account. My brother called him to let him know of the payment and to know when to expect the product, the tif claimed the goods will reach him the next day. My brother called him the next day evening to let him know he has'nt seen any product, the dude still claimed he had already gone to the motor park and sent it. When my brother called him the next day, he started yelling @ my brother saying even people who paid and have not gotten their goods for over 3 days have not disturbed him like my brother is. Later he stopped picking his call, even when my brother used a different number to call him, he picks, yell and later switch off his phone. I think my brother is beginning to get frustrated and wanting to leave this tif to God and his conscience(if he has one) .
Such thread will not make front page quick instead what you will see is pictures of this and that. I was duped by one FXLINE and FAITHFSI (obviously same person with different names)of 55k for a used blackberry bold 5 some months back. I opened up threads for this scam and even reported to Seun and the Mods yet nothing was done and up till this moment the accounts still pop up on call. None of them even asked me how it was done or how far I went. I guess it was a case of "good for him" I tried my best then to report to the bank which also did not lead me anywhere. I just hope these criminals will be rid off this forum and other online sites so we can have conducive online buying environment as we have in other climes.

Anthony247: My Bro, my humble advice to u would be to find a way and come back home. I have loads of friends with similar problems there and i have adviced each one of them to come back. Life is not as rosey as pple might think in London and Europe in general. There are loads of opportunities for u here in Naija. Just take that bold step and come home. I know most of u have this "fear of the unknown", but i bet u, its worth it being here in Nigeria. I have traveled to and spent little times in so many Countries all around this world, and i bet u....there's no place like home. Money is easier to be made here... Just courageously come back, u will equally make it here.

This is a nice and matured advice from a seemingly responsible guy devoid of insults and demeaning words. They might not be what poster want to hear at the moment but they were honestly and maturedly rendered. And if he sees more of these who knows he might just heed to them. Grow up dudes..

My friend keep quiet. Crime is crime whether home or abroad. What crimes are Nigerians abroad committing that is as worse as the kidnapping and raping of citizens, money rituals on daily basis and many other heinous crimes you guys are involved in here? Or is it the politicians that steal us blind and cause many deaths on daily basis? If you don't have anything meaningful to contribute find something meaningful to do and quit advertising your rascality on this forum. Those of you who are specialized in derailing topics should grow up and be civil.

Must people resort to insulting the young man or demeaning his character just because he is seeking for genuine help to his current travails? What is the proof that you are better off where you are currently? Do you really think if all is well with us many people will subject themselves to all that? After all not everyone in Nigeria is doing a genuine job or business. Many are kidnappers, some are fraudsters and all sorts of crime. That anyone here is privileged which is somewhat questionable should not give a right to demean others who find themselves in situations. Mr, just take the useful ones and let go of the little minds here. It's a free forum so you expect all sorts of people, from the jobless to the uncouth.

Is it not high time you guys stopped all this hate and come together to think for once what's really happening in this country? You all should remember corruption knows no religious, tribal and sentimental borders. It is just the privileged versus the less privileged. Think some senses into your skulls.Something inexplicable is actually happening in this country. Can't figure what it is but we need to reach for far reaching solutions.
PoliticsAzazi, Yakowa Die In Helicopter Crash? by philips70(op): 6:25pm On Dec 15, 2012
Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State and former National Security Adviser Andrew Owoye Azazi apparently died in a helicopter that crashed today in Bayelsa State, a reliable source has told SaharaReporters.

Governor Yakowa and Mr. Azazi, a retired military general who served as chief security adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, were among passengers in the ill-fated helicopter.

Nigeria's National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) had earlier indicated that the agency had activated a search for a crashed helicopter.

Our sources had earlier disclosed that the crashed chopper was carrying “some major political figures.” As at the time of going to press, Saharareporters was unable to confirm the identity of any other passengers in the ill-fated chopper.

Governor Yakowa and Mr. Azazi were among many political figures who reportedly attended the burial of the father of senior presidential aide Oronto Douglas. The funeral event took place in the Nembe area of Bayelsa State earlier today. SaharaReporters learnt that the crashed helicopter was one of several helicopters that some well-connected people to the funeral.

The crash comes on the heels of a plane crash on October 25, 2012 that has left Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba State brain-damaged. Mr. Suntai was moved to a hospital in Germany where he remains in poor shape, unable to recognize his visitors or to speak.

PoliticsCracks In The Presidency As President, Vp On A Cold War by philips70(op): 5:31am On Dec 12, 2012
There are signs that the presidential elections in 2015 will be a very interesting scenario as cracks seem to have been emerging from the ruling party. This is similar to the one experienced during the OBJ/Atiku era where the VP then had secret ambitions to take over power from his boss. With this almost confirmed the opposition parties can catch in on the situation to present a formidable front against the ruling party. 2015 is surely going to be an interesting year. We can't but just grab our chairs to watch events as they unfold in the coming months preceding the elections.

floriana: Idiott! You are the one that should read the news more carefully. Unless you are a member of Jonathan family who witnessed it all or a mind reader, every sane person understand what Jona in his stuupid innocence is talking about. Whoever refers to transferring a patient in the same city hospital to another hospital as "getting him out"! And what kind of elaborate arrangements need to be made for taking a sick person in an emergency other than put him in a car and drive as fast as possible? By the nature of the arrangements Jonah in his foolish naivety spoke about, it is either a "getting him out" of the country to a nation of more serious people, or the other "getting him out" -i.e out of existence, like mercy killing. When Andrew talked about "checking out" for instance, was he referring to moving to the next building. I have always had a unique way of identifying the paid azz-wholes manning Aso rock hired laptops. Most of them have tag numbers on their userid. Like Philips70, Wesley80, sincere 9 gerian. I criticize constructively with my brains in the right places. Educate yourself by reading my posts and know the side of the divide am in. There are many kinds of haters of the present day government on this forum. Some are genuine and unbiased in their judgements. This category really wants change for this country. Others are just haters who do so courtesy of the hardship our leaders have unleashed on their lives. This category have their reasoning faculty seriously tampered with out of frustration. They don't even bother to read posts before pouring out their frustrations. Unfortunately you belong to this group. You just need to calm down. There is a green light at the end of the tunnel. Those of us in the first category are seriously working for things to get better and you will soon have your life back. I feel your pain but I promise you soon and very soon these present crop of criminals we have in power will be wished away. But before then return your brain back to the right place so it can function properly and understand simple things. Kpele[/b]

You guys should read that story over and over again and understand clearly what he meant by moving him out to get treatment. The man was being tended to at the state house clinic which is different from the National hospital which he mentioned in the next paragraph. It therefore means the plan was to move him from the state house clinic to the National hospital. Criticism should be done in a civilised and objective manner. I do not like GEJ and his entire PDP polithievery family but on this he has not erred. I might be wrong though so correct me if I am wrong.
