zangiff: Irresponsible fellowAre you that responsible ![]() |
val_dubem: Orubebe was a successful bizman before becoming a minister, so quit all these ur petty talkI hear you. Next time I get around the house he owned in PTI road Warri before he went into active politics I will snap it and post it here for all to see. Successful businessman indeed! Up till now the real road that leads to that house is not motor-able. I know what I am speaking, he was in my neighborhood before I moved. Even as corrupt as Italians look, ministers live in rented apartments with co-tenants. As long as we continue to feel our public servants deserve some kind of better living conditions than the ordinary people, solutions to our problems will remain a Utopian venture. |
Jarus: Located in that part of Abuja, this house can't cost less than N100m. What was he doing before he became a Minister? What is his source of income? Therein lies the issue.Your estate value senses need sharpening o. The land alone is worth more than that N100M you mentioned. And with majority of the comments here we are forever doomed in the corridors of these looters. SMH |
Omen100: You are just a disguising creature whose number doesn't count or applied to the 7billion humans that due on planet earth. Do u think the name calling will change the truth that is in your face huh?Na wao, who be this na? |
mike404: GENERAL AYATOLLAH MUHAMMADU BINLADIN BUHARI IS THE PROBLEM OF THIS COUNTRY.THE EARLIER WE ACCEPT THIS FACT THE BETTER FOR ALL OF US... GOD BLESS NIGERIAKeep deluding yourself. The names that have been kept on watch by the SSS are Buhari's abi? Daftness is worse than HIV AIDS. Who knows if many of you here on this forum are not relatives of members of this present ruling cabal sef. One day monkey go go market he no go come back. You people should keep playing politics with the lives of innocent Nigerians. |
Imanuelle: I die say buhari no get hand for BH mata!No kill yourself o |
Mykcool: ppls tink properly, how many peprcent of naija road get sidewalks,nt to tlk of bicyycle lane. Abi u won't pple to risk dia life riding bicycle on oour roads, good road dey sef? B realistic bro..Many places in Europe roads are very narrow yet people walk my friend. When did this okada come into Nigeria sef? Bad road, bad road.. na only okada sabi ride for bad road sef? How many keke did Amaechi gave to them in PH before banning okada? Has armed robbers taken over PH since their ban took place? Are you not seeing some element of sanity there now? I am not a usual government advocate but am with them on this one. Situation will gradually correct itself and that menace will go away. We always talk as if okada is the only profession left available in Nigeria. |
promkingzz: See ur mouth na, typical Nigerian! Okada is a menace but the government who has indeed given those okada men no other means to survive is not d chief menace abi? You talk about upping security measures as if its the first of such kind of measurements we've expected from the government with no absolute solution or actions to follow up. Go and see the roads the keke napeps are expected to ply on, government officials don't even ply that part of town so they have no idea how messed up the streets of asaba is becoming due to neglect. My brother you know nothing about what you are sayingThe government can't do every thing for you my friend. I guess you will wait till government tar every fucking road in Nigeria before they introduce a life saving measure. Wait till the next generation for that but in the mean time this has come to stay. If you have been a victim or someone you know have been a victim of the menace called okada you will not wait for this Eldorado before calling on them to do just this. Typical Nigerian! smh for you |
sylve11: Men u need to see the masses suffering here in warri this morning. I have always stand on this 'always provide measures before banning anything used by the masses'. The roads are bad in warri and it environs. The buses selects particular locations to drive, everything is almost upside down in delta state; and Nigeria is not better. The development is good, but put measures in place before banning.Let people learn how to walk or ride bicycles in Nigeria. As sophisticated is Amsterdam bicycle is king there. We are too lazy in this country coupled with some useless show of class that at the end of the day leaves our pockets so dry. |
promkingzz: I really do not pray this happens but I await to see a rise in street crimes in asaba. I hope emmanuel uduaghan planned for that too! Asaba get road? Where the keke wan pass?? Mtcheww!Dont waste your energy, if street crimes increase the security operatives will up their game. Okada is a menace and it will forever remain a menace. They should find other means of livelihood. After all people loose jobs every day in other sectors. |
Good riddance to bad rubbish! |
Yu have it |
fairygeh: . Tonto dike's solicitor,u are so damn funny and childish to say the least,it is only sumne who is childish dat would say we should all display our achievements,u are going off topic the topic has nothing to do with tonto dike's achievements but her 'muzik'and just because smeone doesnt like it doesnt mean one is envious.everyone has built or is building a career for his/herself.i dont have anything against her as a matter of fact,i love her acting but she is so rude and dts y people are criticising her not because she is a Nigerian.Thank you.#poko#You are not criticising BIG GIRL. You are badmouthing her. I guess you are more rude than Tonto. You are contradicting yourself by saying you are criticising her rudeness, yet you said earlier its her music. This topic and the last few days is about Tonto's music. You have not displayed anything here that's different from Tonto. Goldieluks: Stop that!American mentality girl, do they twist the names of celebrities over there? Everybody is always claiming "Nigerian mentality". Who in your world is a good role model when almost all the stars in the western world have one form of scandal or the other? Yet they still command respect among the followers. Even Kim kardashian had an invite to the White house in spite of her near porn status. Conclusion: TRUTH HURTS! You girls should get a LIFE and leave the beef alone. Criticise and dont insult lest your own works be destroyed! Last word |
Goldieluks:You that is awake, who are you? We will like to criticise you and your works. Stop running down the poor girl period.I don't see how changing one's name from Dike to decay is criticism. This Nairaland is going to make many people go mad |
ItsModella: It seems like you're having fun throwing around the word "jealousy"..don't you know the meaning of jealousy and envy? Can't you tell the difference between jealousy and criticism? I suggest you consult a dictionary. Why in the world's name would I be jealous of Tonto when she's not my rival of any sort? what nonsense..Pretty, am sorry if that word incensed you. You do not need to be a rival to be jealous of someone. Just tone down your criticism to objectivity without the name callings. I just want you guys to criticise the music and not her person. Enough of the Tonto banging. Even mother Theresa is not a saint. Remember, once again -There is a thin line between criticism and jealousy. We all know how it is with women. |
dabrake: i do not remember kardashian abusing her fans. . . Ashley Cole was booed by arsenal fans 3weeks ago due to his attack on them whereas, eduardo was praised by those same set of fans despite scoring 2 goals against them. Hope you know where i'm headed.Kindly separate her insolence from the criticism on her music except you are telling me you don't like her music just because she abused her fans. And last time I checked most folks who take to demeaning her character on the web are not her fans. Or has the meaning of a FAN changed? |
fairygeh: . L o l,but why would u say she is jealous, she is only criticising what she doesnt like, btw i dnt think anyone can be envious of tonto dike at least not over dis her 'super hit''muzik'her character leaves so much to be desired,i guess dts y pple are criticising her i guess there are better artistes to b jealous of,#poko#a ogugua88: It's criticism and beyond, and she earned it by cursing out haters AND fans alike. I see some people here never see the true Poko Decay. Na overgrown ogbanje. Goldieluks: Goldieluks: Incidentally all these are females. I challenge you all to profile your achievements here for thorough scrutiny. Whether you galz lyk it or not Tonto Dike has stamped her name in millions of minds in a momentum all of you put together have never achieved. So just stop the hate. Lindsay Lohan, Kim kadashian, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears etc all have some forms of scandals, tackiness tied to their characters at one time or the other yet their faces still command respect in red carpets. The only crime Tonto committed to me here is cause she is Nigerian. Remember there is a very thin line between criticism and jealousy. You all should trim it down a lil. |
ItsModella: Puh-lease!!! Granted, a lot of music these days lack substance but I know a good one when I hear/see one. Point of correction, I am not judging Tonto Decay, I am airing my opinion on her music and attitude. I think there is a difference. So criticizing someone's music can bring repercussions on me directly or indirectly? Abeg, tell that to the next m0r0n.Jealousy and envy kill faster than Boko Haram and Allu........ both jealousy and envy can eat away the soul quicker than battery acid on skin. |
Tascocent: Any speech 4rm her plz................I mean new gbagaun."I thank all of you for standing by me during my TRIALS TIME" Anybody who watched her on NTA today should confirm this. Nairaland no go fit gag this woman o ![]() |
Rooneyboy: I think the requirement is. Ordinary WAEC.Which they can stroll into any shop and buy. Garrie is more expensive than it here. |
Didi Love: Anthony "Tony" Victor Okungbowa (born December 6, 1967) is an English actor, film producer, and disc jockey. He is the resident DJ for The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

M I B :So because your life is miserable you blame it on a utopian Illuminati? We all know and have proof of Rosicrucian, we know members of the ROF and also the Grand Lodge. These Orders have visible undeniable members. But why have this your Illuminati stuff always been in doubts and denials all this while? Just find a means to fix your miserable life and quit blaming it on a non visible body. |
pendusky: Shrouded in secrecy? A mere man can tell you their members A-Z!But why will you continue to mislead guys in this Illuminati conspiracy theory? Fine, am not saying it is real or not but we all know any cyber tech can tether this link to that website without disrupting the authenticity of it. We all need a Q.E.D proof to this Illuminati stuff. |
berem: You are indeed a good woman! You are trying your best to tame him,but he seems to be wild about his spendings.there are some girls who would even encourage him to lavish his money and dem go chop too and clean mouth, but you are wise enough trying your best to bring him to order.the most painful aspect of it is that its a loan! How on earth is he gonna get the money to pay back?this just reminds me of my neigbour who bought a Toyota Sequaia for 2million meanwhile he still lives on rent in lagos and has no house in the village! Is buying a car of 2million naira without owning a personal home anywhere extravagance? With the economy of today? personally I don't think so. A car of that amount is somewhat of a necessity than luxury. I bet you if that is extravagance 80% of those who live in any city in Nigeria must be very extravagant. |
sexkillz: [color=#000030]I believe we can air our differing opinions without getting too personal. Can you also ban or caution that guy using very big fonts for indecency in posting? |
You all should save some breath. First, the area they call Forcado river is just by the sea. Many of the communities are just lying on the sea shore. And if the Oboro community is just a river off the sea I suspect the bite could be from a Barracuda which is equally dangerous but not as big as the shark. It strikes victims most especially if they don somewhat of shining objects like jewellery and leaves serious cuts similar to what they described in that report. |
No pun intended but what really qualifies a topic for the front page? I used to think when its hot and must have had some good patronage before it gets to the front page. Somebody who knows the criteria should please tell me. |
Kslib: [color=olive]I just hope those worthless f.ool.ish robbers are caught..Are you really blind to the evil going on in this criminal encouraging site called Nairaland? All they are concerned about is numbers. So any sensational thread that can pull more people to the forum is headed straight to the front page. And more bitter people will be pulled and glued to the site. Seun and the paid MODS smile to the bank. I was duped by some Nairalanders a month ago, raised alarms and wrote personal messages to Seun and the mods just to put them on alert about this guy who has been on Nairaland defrauding unsuspecting guys for years. As I speak to you the guy's 2 Nairaland accounts are still very much active. I predict this site will die a natural death soon with the way things are going on around here. |
gboss4sure: I have seen worser than this when I lived in Aba and I condemn this act, they should have handed them over to the police or torture and leave them if they were caught in the act than to kill them and I bet some policemen were around and watching. My brother the criminal justice system in Nigeria have been so bastardized and abused that the people have no confidence in it any more. Trust me if those guys were handed over to the police their parents would have just dole out some cash and bingo, they are back to these atrocities. The situation we find ourselves in this country is kind of inexplicable when certain things happen. What I failed to include in my earlier comment on this thread is my niece also told me one of these murdered students is a well known rich man's son who uses an Infinity Jeep in the school. Am not saying the act of the community is right but we wouldn't know if there have been several cases of these guys raping, robbing and killing people in that community which most of us here know is very possible. Until criminals of all forms, whether cultists or professional robbers get treated by the police and courts as criminals who they are, cases of extra-judicial killings will not stop. If you have ever been a victim of criminals before and the police took sides with the accused just because the parents are wealthy you will understand the angle I am coming from. Absolutely nothing is impossible in Nigeria. |
I read many comments here and found out that people are really very angry over this supposed gruesome murder by the community people of alleged criminals. I decided not to pass any judgement until I try to seek closer to the truth. I called my niece who is a student there and incidentally lives around the said community. Findings were -That these boys were actually cultists who were caught red handed in the act. -That they went into an important personality's home raped and killed 2 girls -That these acts have been going on for sometime without apprehension. -Conclusively that the initial story that they are laptop and phone thieves emanated from gang friends of these guys who want to gather public sympathy by distorting the facts surrounding the whole incidents. Conclusively on my part I would also want some more people to do some findings too before really passing judgements on any side. And let's not also forget that the police have not helped much in the area of crime fighting and aggrieved Nigerians find jungle justice as the only means of settling these kind of scores. We should not forget that these same parents who are crying foul and calling on God now wouldn't have found it difficult to wield their influence and release these wards if they were handed over to the police for them to go and continue these atrocities. So guys find out things for your self to guide you in your judgements of this incident. |
Odunnu: What kinda phone were you paying for?I paid for a bold5 used 55k including courier. naijathings: [size=17pt]people come on Nairaland looking for cheap stuff like say dem pick am for ground. thats how u fall for these scams when you keep running after cheap stuff. I will give you 10,000 naira if you ever catch that guy through any of his bank details. Na today we don dey hear that one?You don't need to write in big fonts to advertise your uncouth stupidity. Even the most intelligent are scammed in one way or the other somehow. Millions of dollars exchange hands online on a daily basis. And I have done many successful deals online. This is only an unfortunate one. Mistakes are meant for lessons and no one is above it. ceejay80s: It will cost u money to catch him, u think say police go do am for free? Since he has a bank account with a full name, photo, next of kin, address, nepa bills etc. He will be caught, that is if ur papa na retired general or general.I am not going to the police to recover my money but to report crime which most of us find hard to do and turn around to blame the police for ineptitude and lack of performance. And I only post this to warn new and unsuspecting people. Is it not surprising that FAITHSFI has been on Nairaland actively since 2009 but hasn't been banned but people are been banned daily for mentioning some certain forbidden words? |
