Desola: Well, I'm sure that is a negligible price to pay as far as the British government is concerned when cognisance is taken of the number of Nigerians present and willing to enter the UK in sharp comparison to the very few Britons who work in Nigeria. Says an ignorant girl with a very myopic view and knowledge of what the skill level of Nigerians and Britons who work here in Africa at the moment. If you don't know, most foreigners who come here to work at moment come as a result of the expatriate quota in the oil and gas industry. Before you start ranting, I work for the 3rd largest conglomerate on the planet earth with broad interest in almost all spheres in world economy. And am proud to tell you that as we speak I have Britons who work under my supervision from time to time. Am not even in management level but because I work for a company who doesn't care about your colour or where you come from. This is not the past. There are thousands of Nigerians who can hold up to their own anywhere around the world in the Oil and gas industry where these same whites who come here work. Stop talking down on Nigerian professionals. If you don't have information seek for it. Let me not forget to add that I have worked with many Britons and Scots who have got no clue at all. So naive to the point they don't even know where the zee is in a keyboard. Technically, they are just trolling. Just stop talking down on your people if ever you are one of us. |
Pat Akpos: Nice write up. I made 1st page today...... Yay!!That poster who made the age grade stuff should just please add 0-5 category so that my 6yr lil boy school friends here can put their likes too. Seun, time to create baby Nairaland. Home alone kids have invaded your site o. |
emmanuel4758: goooooal civ 3 wat a penaltyThis stoopidity must be genetic no doubt |
solomon111: WTF are you saying.?No mind them, He is as corrupt as GEJ abi ? ![]() |
We need billionaires and solomon 111 plus other voltrons take on this. My eyes are itchy |
Why not give us a link so that we can as well read. The link is right there on first post |
The points raised by the learned lady are not even the main issue about that facebook write-up posted on twitter by El-Rufai. You guys need to read it and go over all the comments mostly made by Muslims. You will be so shocked the North is filled with many Yerimas. The poor lady got the bashing of her life by thick skinned religious bigots. Mehn, after reading all that I hated the more Sir Fredrick Lord Lugard and all his cohorts. This is obviously a nation of many countries. I do not believe I belong to the same nation with those speakers. No, not at all. I personally place a curse on anyone who covertly or openly go against the division of this so called country. I just urge everyone to read all of that including the comments and you will see that there will never be an end to boko haram insurgency no matter the efforts of the JTF. |
ogugua88: Considering that you're dropping your bb pin and asking for sexual hookups in the dating section, I doubt you know the meaning "love".Shey you don pursue the small boy leave he own thread now your body don rest? Not even with all those many likes he must have given this thread 200 yards. ![]() |
scribble: Karen is not well liked and needs to take several seats. She is full of herself and ppl don't think she ought to be so smug. So every chance they get, they relish the ability to put her in her place. She won due to patriotism of Nigerians and not because of any stellar personality traits. She should not talk bad about whhat we all know is wrong with the house. Personally I think any1 that watches BBA has the IQ of a tse-tse fly so she gets what she deserves by being a part of that movement and then talking it down. As for a talkshow for a husband, is that how desperate she really is? Even if that her prize money had not almost finished and she was a billionaire and asked me to marry her, or sign up to a show to contest to marry her, I'd sooner subscribe to vows of chastity than do so. Word to moses!!! Can we see your handsome self and all your beautiful sisters plus your mother and girlfriend's pictures? No hate please, just a request. |
God4memi: I live in Rivers state. U are far better than Odili. Ride on my man. I just prayed 4 u.Exactly, since the day I saw Odili is among the antagonists of this man and GEJ welcomes him I know they are in for long thing and truly for once I believe GEJ is clueless. |
mbulela: Falana Faults NBA's Call for NGF’s Proscription Thank you very much man. I have totally forgotten the call he made in that Bayelsa event. I could remember vividly how I was shocked and wondered from which pedestal he was talking from. Now it's glaring. PDP will destroy every drop of democracy we have in this country before its demise. Just hope they are not the devil's gift to Nigeria sha. |
55K lost to a phoney Nairalander with the monikers FXLINE and FAITHSFI. Though I will say am one of the luckiest online buyer as I buy even my toothpaste online |
jimcaddy: It seems Seun Osewa and all the other moderators no longer filter out foul languages on NL again, as I see so many of 'unprintable' words on threads these days. They only filter out truths they vehemently detest now. Remember moderators are also Nigerians so they have political and religious inclinations too. |
Is there really any honour of being a SAN these days? No be one of them who's the current NBA president don collect estacode and follow PDP warriors visit brutalised Chinda for UK so? These people that cannot draw the line between ethics and professionalism anymore. Mscewwwwwww |
cescadove: .............to lend a legal backing to all their illegalities! It's a shame honestly. Olisa agbakoba must have left the office and taken with him all the dignity expected of an NBA president- the conscience of all lawyers in Nigeria |
Those visited the injured lawmaker include; Minister of State for Education, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Austin Opara, President of Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, Chief Okey Wali (SAN), Former Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, National Treasurer, Mr Kenneth Kobani, Former Transport Minister, Dr Abiye Sekibo, Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chairman, Bro. Felix Obuah and a former Commissioner in Rivers State, Mr. Bonny Iyaye. What is that name doing in this visit for Christ sake? Or was there an error of identification maybe should be ex-president? But no, this man is the current NBA president. So NBA is now an arm of a PDP faction? Someone please explain the presence of that man in that delegation. Am confused here |
Am very much convinced he went there to wash his hands off 2015 election. Mark my words, afterall his loyalists in Nairaland say he is a honest and gentleman |
SIGNED. Please any one that knows any underage daughter of senator Odion Ugbesia should let me know. Preferably 9 years old. A colleague of mine is in desperate need to get married. Wouldn't mind his phone number to arrange an introduction. Smh.. .and he wanted to be a governor. Smallies for suffer for Edo secondary schools |
Nwa Teacher: I'm losing interest in nairaland. Nairaland has became partial and political, why Seun? Why is it that anything that is for Soyinka made front page and the one that is against him don't make front page or sometimes been hidden. Example is Soyinka comment on Yarima on underage marriage. Secondly why do nairaland likes making pro-Amaechi news in front page and anti-Amaechi news not. Thirdly why is it that news that relate to APC governors always make front page and PDP one doesn't make. You people should be careful b4 you kill this wonderful and informative social media. Thatz my contribution. Thanks Carry your bigoted mind leave here. Are you sure you see the front page at all? If you are so pained albeit poor sight go and create a PDPland, Anti-Amaechiland forum where you all will continue to swim and wallow in abject self denial. A forum where you will see 14 years of wasteful leadership as encouragement to urge same on. Mschewwww...you just wake up from bed? |
My question is where are the women and child's right group at this ignoble time they are needed? Why this much docility on our land? This goes to tell us that any people protesting for or against Amaechi, GEJ et al are being paid to do so. There are no genuine crusaders around anymore. No bag of rice plus 1000 naira no protest. We give up!!!!!! (copyright Yuzedo) |
Fhemmmy: And what has our boyz in Agbada and suit done differently? i am not advocating for coup oh but i think the guy spoke well, high time our politician see their job description as leadership and not looting-ship of do or die in office.Chairman, all these people speaking here do not know what they ever want. They keep saying the worst civilian government is better than the best military government. Says who? Do we have a democracy now? Is this what they call democracy? Do you ever think this democracy will get better than this? My opinion to all these questions is capital no. I quietly pray for the Rawlings solution. If all ignoramuses like let them attack me. I HAVE NO APOLOGY. IF WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW IS WHAT IS CALLED DEMOCRACY I AM FOR A MILITARY GOVERNMENT. Shikena! |
biafranqueen: Am I missing something here who is the head of Aso Rock? Which seat did we vote her into? This has to be some what fabricated. Yesterday, it was reported that she knew nothing, now it is like she is basically saying I warned youoo. I mean it is hard to believe that the Presidents people would not caution her on what to say.You are very correct on the bold line. God should help me not get more and more confused and frustrated about religion as it is in the world today. |
djeezy: Most christian vendors will tell you they don't have change when they actually have but an aboki/mallam vendor will always give if he has. I have observed this so many times. So Christians are wicked and Muslims are kind abi? Or what exactly is your point? |
solomon111: Gej is the owner of the judiciary? You GEJ guys should stop playing to the gallery on him owning the judiciary and all that. This is Nigeria where the fear of the president is the beginning of wisdom if not you will be given Amaechi and other's treatment. I don't need to educate you further on this just cause I know your fingers are automatically programmed on your keyboards/pads for defense of all indefensibles and not even your brains. |
babyhrt: Soyinka has insulted n belittled evry woman 4refering to PEJ as a mere domestic appendage...is dat wht his wife is to himThe English is obviously too big for a small illiterate mind like your to comprehend. Just send it as a text to your English teacher to interpret and you will understand the professor. |
It's obvious Beaf retreated from this forum to recruit many foot soldiers for his paymasters. Hunger is a killer disease worse than AIDS. This is real herculean job for these guys only second to truck pushing. By May 29th 2015 all these lot will be out of job. Not easy though. There are no jobs in Naija, only on paper and TVs. |
tit: WIRInet,You are a pathological liar with that bolded statement. If they are not with him they would have sold out long ago. Or you don't know how long this has been on ground? Even with the siege of Dame in PH for how many days? My friend say what you know. |
I will not argue if that pic was taken in Nigeria or not. That is a secondary case for argument. But if that pic is an art piece as posited by most of you here then that artist can favorably compete with both Michelangelo and Da Vinci put together. The details are awesome |

slimghost: Sure thing. PDP is a democratic party. Trust me, a primaries will be conducted in 2015. Yeah you and Afam4eva are very correct, like the democracy happening at the moment in the Rivers state HOA. All for a pot of porridge. SMH for you guys |
