manny4life: Wait, are we talking about same person who promised baboons and dogs soaked in blood? That your bolded fear is who Nigeria needs at the moment. A dictator with hard balls who we currently lack. We need him quickly. |
thegoodjoehunt:Do you pick leaders in this country or they pick you? Come on, be serious and objective. |
Series22: u dey vex say we dey insult ur buhari, now u don dey insult our Gej o. 4 ur information, by 2015, buhari go don reach political Menopause. LolAnd equally by that time your life go don reach poverty menopause too occasioned by 16 good years of misrule by the thieving PDP. I foresee a situation where in that projected visionless year 2020 children will be chasing parents like you with pump-actions for supporting a thieving party all along thereby making the nation worse than Somalia. |
obailala: This is very mean! Its not an easy job defending GEJ and his current goons. Even the almighty BEAF could not survive it. I don't see how these later day minions will survive it. The villa make the job harder for them by the day. Suffice it to say that truck pushing is an easier and better job. |
Please the rules should have included information like how many times one is eligible to vote. As in BBA where you can vote as many times as you want in time intervals. It might be somewhere but just can't see it. So I ask how many times can one vote? |

Sincere 9gerian: I thought these persons have all served their prison terms? Should ex-convicts now be barred from walking on certain roads or going to certain places? Are they now less human because they'r ex-convicts? Was the prison term not meant to CORRECT them and make them BETTER citizens once they'r out of prison? The SELF-RIGHTEOUS attitude of some Nigerians is disgusting. Retrieve your brains fast from that prostitute house you left it. One more day it stays there you will loose it forever! Imbecility is violently knocking on your door. I beg you in the name of God, act fast for your family sake. |
Sincere 9gerian: My friend, read the previous comments before yours and make more SENSIBLE contribution. Do you expect Premium Times, the media arm of El Rufai, to come all out and commend the govt? And you tell me what is there to commend when in the same year we have several cases of unresolved massive corruption like FAROUK, MANITOBA, ADOKE, etc all in the midst of a toothless anti-corruption agency who continue to advertize their inability to prosecute high level financial crimes for some very known reasons. Brother, tell yourself and your future generation the truth-No progress has been made so far and none in sight with the current lukewarm pattern of our current president who himself have been named in several of these cases. |
Sincere 9gerian: Dear Moderator, is good news now an offence? Kindly help us move this thread to the front page. TI is the biggest rating organisation in terms of corruption...Nigeria placed 143rd in the 2011 ranking, making it the 37th most corrupt country. It is difficult to say Nigeria has improved in the ranking this year because 182, six more than this year’s, were ranked in 2011. Did you guys read this line at all? What is so difficult in calling a spade a spade for Christ sake? How will self deceit help us come out from our current doldrums? |

Exactly the prayers of well meaning Nigerians! Those government jobs need to be made less attractive. Idiots, their lives are more important than the people BH kill daily. No wonder BH have been operating without any hindrance for long. The ordinary citizens' lives do not mean anything to them. Make dem wait, that their fears will soon become prophecy. |
And the Mods/Seun will allow this to continue on nairaland. And when people are burnt alive some persons will come here to whip all the sentiments in this life. SMH |
This picture dressing is causing a whole lot of problem to our collective mental psyche. Typically with Nigeria and overdo thingy we are on top of the game. The new fraud called PHOTOSHOP. Meet the real life Mrs Folorunsho Alakija

REALITY101: Have you ever held a microphone in your life? Quit hatingSince Tonto bashing began on NL your subject matter, Itsmodella is always worked up whenever it's Tonto's issue. Don't know the beef she has with her but am beginning to suspect her boyfriend is in love with Tonto. Or maybe her mind is so so little. But one thing is for sure, she will waste her usable time here on NL bashing Tonto while the poor gal is on her way to the top of her career. Women and beef upon themselves! |
What is the surprise in this story sef? For me I see none. What is the difference between this criminal and the ones in government or in business? Don't we have Phd holders in the National Assembly and state houses? What's the difference in tendency? A crime is a crime whether you perpetuate it in or outside of government. The proceeds is all more money in a poverty stricken rich nation where only the rich are given recognition among big names with full respect. As a result of this 99% of Nigerians are criminally minded in one way or the other. God help us! |
ochallo: that dress is cut and sew and it is so obviousAnd which dress was not cut and sewn? |
Johndoe100: @GbaweI wonder why you guys always halla Sahara this Sahara that yet you cant just twist your necks outta their stories. If not for this same Sahara your GEJ who you so defend always would either be dead in mysterious circumstances or be in oblivion by now. If they write on the excesses and corruption in the oppostion parties like ACN and the rest they will automatically become your darlings. Stick to your opposition bashing and leave Sahara alone. They are a very necessary evil in this corruption filled nation. |
TCD: Your question was answered . You just want it spelt out.Ok o, when I get first hand info on the usability on ipad I will update. |
Baba_Eleko: I'm reposting again cos my question is not being answered!I think it is different because you have to work over apple apps. Same question I asked about ipad which is just a bigger iphone. No one is yet to give me a convincing response on my last questions on if it will work with the applications or just on the safari browser. A friend of mine needs an answer to this but I will just tell him to try it since there is no harm in doing so. He can only loose 1k2 once which is somewhat negligible. |
muhds1: if u don't know don't talkAs far as I know all the blackberry plans of Airtel has just 1gig of data integrated be it 3k, 1k4 or 1k2. No one is unlimited. The major difference between these blackberry plans is the number of push emails you can use with them. And that's why it's no use buying the 3k bb plan to use on a modem for browsing with a lappy. |
Johnwizzy: Yes...mobile phones,ipad,android,pcThanks |
Francheezy: BAbA, sheeey u n0 read wetin piple d0n dey ryt s!ns,I asked a question up there which nobody has answered yet concerning this plan and ipad. Again, will this work on the apps in an ipad too or it will only work on the safari browser? Suffice it to ask will this plan work well with an ipad? If anyone here has tried it he/she should kindly answer me. |
Johnwizzy: send Bsm to 440 and u will be activated with 1030mb of data.....afta dat send Deactivate to 440....u will b deactivated from bb internet service..ur 1G still remain to flexWill this work on an ipad? |
naturalwaves: So, you thought it was copies initially? Do they sell copies of movies at the cinema? And you said the report was simple to understand when currency type was not mentioned? Or you are one of those PA's who defend their masters even before reading what they are defending against? Now the true report says 24 million Naira. So justify that your common sense. |
naturalwaves: Where in the report did you see "NAIRA" ? How will that kind of movie gross 24 million naira? Is it that you all have comprehension issues or just beef instinct. Commom sense should tell you that they aren't talking about NAIRA if at all money is being referred to. The report is simple enough to understand. Those bolded parts took away your common sense. Those guys who said its Naira used theirs and it turned out to be correct. Next time use yours before calling on others. Even somebody told us gross has to do with money. Remove the groundnuts in your eyes before attempting to remove the sands in other people's eyes next time you hear? |

Which common sense are you talking about here, the one you refused to use in checking? |
timbros: So what currency should we attach to the 24million? Naira? Pound? Dollar?....which?Googled and saw in other news its Nairas they are referring to here and not copies. Journalism in Nigeria is a shame |
Y.M.E:My guy, must every dunce get a reply? |

Even if they were referring to copies of tickets sold for the premiere, you didn't reason that it is likely impossible to sell 32 million tickets (8 million + 24 million) when it is not a football event.Didn't you see that the report was referring to the success at the cinemas and not the movies itself. The only contemplation I had was if the money stated was in Naira, Pounds or Dollars.
